5 out of 5 eggsGood Headset !

Pros: Rf and Bluetooth in one headphone

Cons: Could be a little Louder

Other Thoughts: I do not see what everyone's problem is with these headphones. They sound good have decent range and work with the RF nano receiver or bluetooth. In my experience the call quality is second to none whether on my computer or by bluetooth on my phone. I have a lot of bluetooth headsets and none are as good as these for making phone calls. It is always crystal clear and no one ever complains about it like other headsets I have when on bluetooth. I watch you tube with mine all of the time and they sound really good although I have wished they were a little louder at times when hooked up to my computer with the nano receiver. When hooked up to my phone however they are plenty loud but I do have Viper4Android an EQ booster root app. I have had mine over a year and have never had a single problem with them. As a matter of fact I think I may purchase two more of them one for my wife and one for my other computer unless I can find something more high end that does both bluetooth and Rf but I have not seen any yet !

1 out of 5 eggsh800

Pros: wireless. decent enough battery life. can use while charging.

Cons: range.
durability. - mine broke in 3-4 months of normal use. never dropped, or thrown... crackled like mad one day, then stopped the next.

Other Thoughts: spend your money on a better set. I will be next go round.

1 out of 5 eggsOverdesigned and Cheaply Made

Pros: Looks good and for some -- millions of buttons.

Cons: It broke, almost immediately. If you buy these -important- do not wear them while charging. The USB socket on the headphones is fragile beyond belief. A little torque to one side or the other and it breaks.

Next problem are it's way too numerous features. You can't touch the headphones without hitting one button or another accidentally. You don't need any of them.

A complete loss.

Other Thoughts: Went to different vendor and bought the similarly priced Logitech headphones. Pleased with their ergonomics but we will have to wait to find out if they're as fragile.

3 out of 5 eggsCareful - Might not be what you're looking for

Pros: Functional enough for VOIP, fairly comfortable. Easy set-up. Decent battery life.

Cons: Not for audiophiles. The receiver/transmitter pair has JUST enough bandwidth to perform it's job, so if you are talking and listening simultaneously and the USB bus is taxed at all, you're probably going to hear crackling over the right or both channels.

Other Thoughts: Had I researched them more thoroughly, I might have bought another product. This is the first logitech device that's really let me down in such a big way.

3 out of 5 eggsWorking headset

Pros: Wireless, decent range. Holds charge for several hours.

Cons: Shabby USB cable for recharging, broke in a few months.
If sound is loud enough people can hear what your contact is saying or what you're listening to.

Other Thoughts: USB cable stopped providing a charge to the headset after a few months. I thought it was the battery at first but I swapped the cable and now it charges up fine.
If you care about privacy, keep the output volume low.

3 out of 5 eggs3 Hours Use - Ouch

Pros: Quality Sound. 20 ft Range. Avg 5.5 hrs on battery. Can still use while charging. Awesome Price. Reliable. Automatic Install.

Cons: Thin foam padding hurts edges of ears after a few hours and must be readjusted on ears to move pressure point from one part of ear to another. My ears have gotten tougher over the past few weeks though and it doesnt hurt as much.

Other Thoughts: If these were a little larger with pads around the ears, then it would not be painful at all. But the padding is so thin that after a few hours you really feel it.
Lost connection to the dongle once, had to unplug dongle from USB and plug back in and the headphones connected reliably again. No issues since then. I think it was an issue with my PC and not the dongle.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: This set really does have a lot going for it
They are VERY comfortable, even if you use them over 8hrs at a time. It has good range, I would say about 20-30ft with one thin wall before they start to cut out somewhat. The battery life is between 3.5-7hrs on a full charge with continuous use depending on volume. Its Logitech so you plug it in and it just works. The Bluetooth works great for hands free calls and you can answer them with the headphones as well. It will beep when the battery is low and you can plug in the usb to charge without interrupting your call. While this set is good I would recommend the h600 if you dont need Bluetooth or the ability to switch song tracks from the headset.

Cons: I had the h600 before this set and they actually had the same mic and sound about the same only the battery seemed to last a few hours longer with the h600. In some ways the h600 is better because the mic is always really good on the h600 but on this set I think the mic may reduce quality a bit when the battery is low. Both sets suffer from a tendency to fall right off you head if you dare to look down at your feet while standing. The on/off/bluetooth switch just feels junky and is very hard to change yet at the same time it is difficult to know by feel alone what its on or if you changed it to on or Bluetooth. The next/previous track button has a decent feel till it makes a weird plastic snap/crunch/tick like sound on occasion as it bottoms out.

Other Thoughts: At the end of the day I believe this product deserves 4 stars. Its not bad and does everything you would expect in a pair like this however it is a bit expensive for what it is and certainly could be better. If they could improve the battery life and the mic/speakers sound quality just a hint(though I would say mostly its high quality) it might rate higher. In addition the falling off the head thing, better buttons and more solid construction in general could better justify this sets high price and earn this set 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggs2 Years and still going.

Pros: Hands down the best all around headset I've owned, trust me, I've tried to replace them. That said, I suppose I'll just address some of the negative feedback with my experience:

Build quality: They're plastic, but I've /ragequit swiped them off my head and tossed them on many occasions, so wouldn't call them, "flimsy." Maybe light feels cheap to some? I dunno. After all this time and heavy use, the foam is still intact and healthy (both top of the head and ears).

Range: The reviewers complaining about range are right(ish). I found that if I had LOS to the receiver the range was for sure 35 (maybe 40?) ft. When I moved my setup to a corner that's farther away from my bedroom door I lost a good amount of that range, but rectified the issue with a USB extension and a tack. I can be in my garage 3 walls over and use them perfectly fine, so maybe the other reviewers are plugging them in the back of their towers against a wall? Again, I got nothing.

Audio issues: I have had the occasional issue where everyone tells me my audio is crackling, but pulling the USB receiver and plugging it back in always fixed it. Although for the record we all seem to have that problem off and on in Steam chat.

Audio quality: It's cerainly acceptable in my opinion. Bass response is a little weak, and mid can be a little drowned out, but over all it's fine. I'm assuming these sacrifices are to keep cost lower, weight lower, and battery life excellent.

Battery life: 2+ years now and I'm still getting the full 6 hours out of them (which amazes me even). I've only ever used the included charging cable for fear of messing up the battery, so maybe that's a factor.

Bluetooth: BT has always worked fantastic for me (better than the dongle even). I have the set paired to my cell phone so I can use it while I'm milling around the house. Two different phones now, and all I have to do is click it over to BT and the phone picks it right up. Audio quality over BT seems really good as well. Range is about the same as the dongle, but so long as I leave my cellphone in a central-ish location, I never seem to have any major issues.

Drivers: I have no idea, I've never installed any, they've always worked perfectly fine plug and play for me.

Comfort: I don't know if I just have a fat or skinny head, but these things fit very nicely. I suppose they may come off if one were to whip ones hair, but other than that, they seem pretty snug. Also, I do spend about 4 to 6 hours gaming every other day or so, and I use them constantly for my phone, and they don't get uncomfortable (granted that's just my opinion).

I don't know if some of the reviewers simply lack a good understanding of wireless devices, or I'm just silly lucky, but I haven't personally experienced any of the issues listed in any of the low reviews personally.

It may sound wacky, but after buying this headset and setting it up to work with my PC / phone, I have no idea how I lived without it. Great buy (in m

Cons: Honestly I haven't really had any cons. Again, the only thing that's really happened is the occasional complaint that my voice is breaking up on Steam; but I again stress the fact that this happens to everyone in my regular group I play with intermittently, and is fixed by pulling the dongle and plugging it back in. Also worth mentioning: this has never happened to me on Skype, and has yet to happen via BT.

I suppose they could use some fancy lights or something? Although with my gloss monitors that could get annoying really fast. So no, no lights.

That actually brings to mind my only real gripe: The charge / on indicator being on the bottom of the headset is useless. The few times I've run it down to beeping dead (the point where it starts beeping and being all demanding that you plug it in), I've been totally unaware of the little green light becoming a little red light. If I could talk Logitech into one change, it would be a light on one side or the other so you'd be more prone to notice your battery life when you're up and moving around at least (passing mirrors and assorted shiny things and what-not).

Other Thoughts: I won't bother listing them all (and never bothered to leave reviews on them), but I really have tried to replace these on several occasions. Sometimes I get bit by the old, "I want something new," bug, and like everyone else try to replace something that isn't broken. The simplest way I can summarize the outcome is like this: My mother has a really nice plantronics headset now, my father has a pretty sweet sony set, my son has a skull candy set, and my wife insisted on her own H800. Although the one set I tried that no one has was the Turtle Beach PX5. MAN those things are garbage. I mean zero range, interference like mad, they take batteries (really TB? really?), they actually feel cheap especially considering their size, and they were really expensive. Granted someone somewhere probably pines over them like I do my H800, but I don't know what that person did differently. Maybe the didn't have any other electronics in their house? I got nothing.
