With one-click HD uploads to Facebook and a versatile, fold-and-go design, you’ll enjoy HD 720p video calling and Full HD 1080p video sharing—however, whatever, wherever you like.

  • newegg Superb Image Quality You can record in breathtaking widescreen Full HD 1080p, and take high-resolution snapshots at up to 8 megapixels (software enhanced). Your images stay razor sharp, even in close-ups (up to 10 cm from the camera lens) with built-in autofocus.
  • newegg HD 720p video calls with Logitech Video Effects You’ll get 720p video calling on most major instant messaging services (For Mac computers, HD video calling is currently available on FaceTime HD. For HD video calling support with other video-calling applications, please check their website for availability and support information.). Your video calls get an extra dose of fun with Video Effects. It’s easy to spice things up with neon splashes, fish-eye distortions—even make your own mask with mask maker (Windows-based computers only. Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz recommended.).
  • newegg Versatile, portable design & Swiveling, tripod-ready design The fold-and-go design and short USB cable make it easy to take your webcam with you, while a USB cable extender gives you plenty of slack when you need it. You can attach a tripod (sold separately) for more placement options. Plus, the 360-degree swivel makes calling and recording easier at any angle.
  • newegg Logitech More HD Thanks to More HD this webcam doesn’t compress video during a call, so your image stays HD-clear and your computer runs more efficiently—even if it’s a little old. (PC only)
  • newegg One click to Facebook You can easily capture HD video (in Full HD 1080p) and upload it to Facebook, Twitter or YouTube with just one click.
  • newegg Plays nice with Windows and Mac Windows? Mac? iChat? Skype? Google Voice and Chat? It doesn’t matter. It works with what you have. Plus, if you want to edit your pics and photos, it’s compatible with iPhoto and iMovie—even Photo Booth. (iMovie does not directly support external webcams. You can use the included Logitech Webcam Software to record and export video captured by a Logitech webcam into iMovie.)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HD webcam, also makes a great security/weather cam

Pros: - Price
- True HD video (1080p/15fps or 720p/30fps)
- Quality microphone (very sensitve accurate frequency response, low noise)
- Standard threaded tripod/mount adapter
- Flexible mounting options
- Easy manual horizontal and vertical tilt adjustment which stays in place

Cons: - Cannot disable blue LED (e.g. to eliminate glare or provide stealth)
- Monophonic microphone (generally not an issue for a security or weather cam)
- Same old Logitech capture software (cannot capture stereo from external sound source)

Other Thoughts: 'm using this camera in combination with the following components as a low-cost high-quality security camera:

* PTC 65ft USB extension cable (80ft cable did not work)
* Motion-sensing outdoor lights
* Vitek VT-EH10 Camera Enclosure
* Blue Iris webcam/security software

I currently have two of these cameras setup and will be adding more as the results blow away any security CCTV "system" I've found, but at a fraction of the price!

5 out of 5 eggsi c u

Pros: 1080p! has a screw hole on the bottom for a tri pod. rotates 360 on base. camera controls like zoom and mute with software. plug and play pre-loaded drivers.

Cons: cord is it too short for my 46" monitor so i have to use an USB extension cord. the cord is 94cm long. It's USB 2.0, not that it needs 3.0 but this 2013, come on ppl. the adjustable base can bend in three directions, so u can rig up some sort of clamp thing, but it's only wide enough for a standard LCD screen. It's don't try it with a thick screen, like a 46" LCD screen.

Other Thoughts: I can get past all the small things because it works and that's all i care about, that and 1080p. no problems with drivers. running Windows 7 64bit.

4 out of 5 eggsIt works, quite well.

Pros: -Good quality (16:9, 1920x1080, MAX)
-Extremely flexible and stable mounting
-Decent software control
-Usage indicator light

Cons: -Not quite against the camera, but: when using with Skype, the aspect ration will jump between fullscreen and widescreen (I'm assuming based on connection).

Other Thoughts: I don't use the built-in mic, but it sounds decent.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little camera

Pros: Resolution and color is super. Downloaded the software and manual from Logitech and it works great on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. Not so much as a hiccup. Worth every penny.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you are going to use this camera for something other than a webcam be sure to buy a usb extension cable with it.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Well But.....

Pros: Windows 7 64bit recognized it right away.
Excellent video, picture, and audio quality. Because of it being a refurb, cost to value is high.

Cons: Short USB Cable.
Being a refurb it doesn't come with anything but the camera. If you don't have a USB extension cable you might want to get one.

Even with the latest software downloaded from Logitech I still experienced a BSOD system crash. Only happened once while messing with the settings but it happened.

Other Thoughts: After the BSOD crash when the machine came back I unplugged the camera and uninstalled all Logitech webcam software and drivers, then rebooted. After reboot, plugged the camera back in and let Windows detect it. Tried the Camera again and it still works great with Skype and the like.

If you want some features missing without having the Logitech software do a search for a free program called Mycam by e2esoft. It's Freeware and Greenware. Just unpack the downloaded package to a folder and run it. No installation needed.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: Plugged into my late 2012 Mac mini and it immediately worked with photo booth, Skype and FaceTime. No issues. Mic works too.

Cons: Maybe if you needed 1080 you'd want to spend more, but this is totally adequate for my desktop needs.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA -> RMA

Pros: Good Specs at a great price.

Cons: 1st Referb item arrived DOA :(
Went through Newegg's RMA process and another one is on the way. I'm hoping I have better luck with this one.

Other Thoughts: I'm a little concerned with the QA process for Referb items is I received a DOA product, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt since sometimes shipping damage can happen especially with padded evelopes.

5 out of 5 eggsbest 40 dollars I ever spent

Pros: This webcam has clear picture with a wide viewing angle in 1080p, including a great microphone, awesome adaptability with light/environment, and the easy to use software that takes the whole experience and just makes it better.

Cons: None that I can think of, It is really a sound product. It is refurbished, but you would never be able o tell by looking at it or using it.

Other Thoughts: Over all I am very pleased. It fits my monitor perfectly, Looks great, the microphone sounds great and is the best webcam I have ever used. Seriously, this thing makes my lap top's webcam look ancient. Absolutely no lag at all either, with 720p video chat in Skype! A resplendent Product that delivered more than I would have ever suspected.
