4 out of 5 eggsGreat All Purpose Mouse

Pros: - On board memory to keep things synced across computers without need for logitech software

- Very durable

Cons: - You can't store macros without installing the logitech software on your computer, not a deal breaker, but I would rather keep the number of programs that need to be running down.

- The braiding frays over time, I had this mouse for about 2 years now and the braiding has come off in one section completely. There is still a traditional rubber cover shielding the wires so it is still usable.

Other Thoughts: Try not to use this mouse near things that can snag the braiding, I wish I could completely take off the brading as its annoying when stray frays touch me; nevertheless, this mouse is still holding up after 2 years of heavy use.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent MMO Mouse

Pros: Huge number of highly programmable buttons that give you a serious advantage in games, especially MMO's. Beautiful design, the glowing colors are awesome. The cord is braided so it doesn't coil.

Cons: Takes some time to get used to! The top two buttons are somewhat hard to hit.

Other Thoughts: I've always trusted Logitech products - I wanted a Razer Naga but after my first Razer mouse died on me within six months I went to the old standby of Logitech and don't regret it at all.

4 out of 5 eggsCool product, Unique Application, Refurb OK

Pros: I am utilizing the buttons on the side to replace the keyboard shortcut commands I use often in AutoCAD/Revit. There are plenty of buttons available for my needs.
The utility to program the buttons was pretty straight forward but it has some room for improvement. This should not be a deterrent.

Cons: One of the side buttons on a refurb requires a little more effort to press. This is a little frustrating during use.

1 out of 5 eggsdidn't work

Pros: none

Cons: fresh installed windows 7. Plugged this mouse in and the left button didn't work. I reinstalled drivers, firmware updates, and downloading the logitech driver.

Other Thoughts: Should have bought this new and not refurbished.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Refurbishing

Pros: It was a great mouse, it did an amazing job when it ACTUALLY WORKED.

Cons: Here's the only con. After doing some research, I found out that the refurbished G600 mice died, normally around a 6 month ownership mark. Lone and behold, my mouse died on my last night. None of the buttons work. The mouse icon on the screen moves very slowly. I've rebooted the machine, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. I did a firmware update, I installed the gaming mouse software. NONE OF IT WORKED. I plugged a different mouse in and it worked just fine. These refurbished, pieces of junk are just that. Junk

3 out of 5 eggsSolid mouse except for bug

Pros: Many, many buttons.

Sound button layout, buttons are easy to access, even for me who has rather small hands.

1000s and 1000s of color combinations for the mouse.

Feels solid and weighty which I like. It isn't too heavy and it feels good in the hand.

Speaking of feels good in the hand it is quite comfortable.

you get the impression someone who played games actually designed it. Everything is where you'd need it, it has a shift modifier built in, easily accessed mode switch buttons. Can set different set ups to light up a different color for easy mode recognition.

Cons: the dastardly firmware bug.

Other Thoughts: More on the bug.

It causes your mouse to jump a few inches up when using bound keys. I believe you can find out in these comments the exact parameters that cause it to happen.

Mine has it, with a little research, even in these comments, you can see what firmware version is upgradeable to be fixed and which isn't..and how to find out which one you have.

My firmware cannot be upgraded and I do have the bug. It isn't incredibly common. My raids in WoW are 3 hours long and it happens anywhere from 0-2 times usually. Some nights it doesn't happen, some it will happen a couple of times. I really only use this mouse for WoW and perhaps in the future a game like Torchlight or something, otherwise I use my "FPS" mouse or 360 controller, so I am not too bothered by it. But someone who plays nothing but DOTA or WoW may come to hate this.

For this reason I can't give it the perfect score. It is a darn good mouse but if you get one that is bugged and not able to be fixed then you will either have to RMA it until you get one that is the right model or just deal with it.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Handy!

Pros: -Many Button and software is pretty easy
I like using it for making macros for Photoshop and playing RPGs or MMOs
-comfortable for larger hands
-Very Nice Backlighting on the buttons
-Long Cord and easy to use
-The high DPI settings are neat.

Cons: -Mouse is somewhat heavier then a Razer Naga MMO competitor and pacing your mouse side to side takes a little bit more push.
-3rd Mouse button on the right takes up room space on your hands and sometimes the 3rd button can be mistaken at the Right Click. Also it takes more hand space and could be uncomfortable to people with small hands.

Other Thoughts: Overall I really do like the mouse and my refurbished model was in good condition. The Macro buttons all responded well and one or two might need a little bit more push or a bit janky. But it's all good.

I wouldn't reccomend this mouse for Gamer's that are more into Action or FPS. This more of a utility mouse for MMO's in my opinion. The DPi sensitivity is great and gives you more than you would need.

5 out of 5 eggs...nothin' but net

Pros: Quality of manufacture. Software. Buttons!!! Feel (it is absurdly nice compared to every mouse that has gone before). Fit (I have medium-to-small-ish hands. Braided cable.

Cons: None. Well, my bad for not buying two at the three franklins refurbished price Newegg was selling it for after Christmas.

Other Thoughts: This came in a plastic bag in a padded envelope. No frills. Very slight signs of scuffing, but otherwise no evidence of extended use (then again, it don't show much anyways).'s easily - and by a *wide* margin - the nicest mouse I've ever used. It pretty much "glides" across the old UPS mouse pad I've used for a half dozen plus years.

The cycling LED colors thingie is kind of cool. At the least, when my wife saw it she said "I want that" lol.

I haven't had the luxury of a macro enabled mouse previously, so I'm still testing that out.

But "I don't care" if that ends up total fail lol, just because it feels and works so very, very nicely.
