Pros: Seem to be good deal.

Cons: 2 seconds for go out of sleep mode(too long). Stay away from this item.

4 out of 5 eggseric.oxenberg@thedesktop.com

Pros: Extremely good feel in hand, accurate, smooth motion, switches between free scroll and click scroll, tiny USB receiver, decent battery life.

Cons: Eventually becomes inaccurate, can get stuck in right-clicks even when clicking left button, runs through batteries, 2-3 year lifespan average.

Other Thoughts: I've bought half a dozen of these, even though they eventually stop working, because the Anywhere Mouse is the most comfortable mouse I've ever owned. It's smaller than a full-size mouse, heavy for it's size and has an excellent shaped design. The mouse tracks smoothly and the buttons have a satisfyingly solid clicky feel.

I use his mouse on both Macs and PCs, for mouse-intensive tasks like image editing and hardcore gaming as well as office tasks, and it's accurate on most surfaces. It's small enough for travel, but not so small you feel like it's a toy.

The drawback to these refurbished Anywhere models is that after a few years of regular use they do start to go on the fritz. The pointer can jump on your screen, ignore button input or get stuck performing right-click actions instead of left-click ones. It's a pretty much necessary to get an extended warranty with refurb units, as the 90-day warranty is way too short. While Logitech will replace your defective mouse (at least once while in warranty, anyway) after that expires and it gets wonky, it'll be time to buy a new one.

Even though I know they have relatively short lifespans, I still like these more than any other mouse I've tried for their size, comfort and accuracy. Recommended.

3 out of 5 eggsevery so often

Pros: The price of these cannot be beat.
Greatest Mouse ever (wish Logitech would make this in bluetooth)
I buy these all the time for work users

Cons: Every so often I get one of these that are dirty, doesn't click right, and has battery leakage residue in it.

5 out of 5 eggsBest portable mouse

Pros: -Small form factor increases portability
-Typically well-designed Logitech ergonomics
-Comes with nice carrying case
-Clever internal carriage for USB RF transmitter prevents it from being lost
-Really does work on glass!

Cons: -Was in my laptop bag which was stolen by corrupt Bulgarian taxi drivers

Other Thoughts: I guess I'll be buying another one of thee in light of the fact that mine was stolen, along with a laptop and many personal documents.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: It worked for the first couple of months.

Cons: Whoever refurbished this, should have focused more on quality. After a while the buttons start to jump and one click actually becomes a double or even tripple click. That can have consequences when trying to click away unwanted popups.

Other Thoughts: The price was actually very good and as a backup mouse it still works out. High usage in a work environment could become an issue pretty fast.

4 out of 5 eggsworks, but not in like new condition

Pros: The mouse arrived quickly and is working well thus far.

Cons: Despite what a few other reviewers said, I was really hoping that this would arrive in refurbished condition - as in, like new condition on the outside. The "top half" of the mouse is not perfect, but very good. The bottom is moderately worn. I purchased this for someone on our staff - and am regretting it although it will work fine.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse but refurb not so

Pros: The mouse is great and I have had one for 3 years so I wanted another as a backup. Price was okay but not great considering others have new for less than $10 more.

Cons: It looks like the refurb replaced the top with new covers but cheaper ones than original. Bottom of the mouse looked used and had about the same wear as my 3 year old mouse!

Other Thoughts: Buy a new one for $10 more.

1 out of 5 eggsTRASH

Pros: None. This thing doesn't work well AT ALL.

Cons: Broken right out of box. Bought so I could use mouse on different surfaces. This mouse is supposed to work on anything, right out of box doesn't track on anything, not a book, not a glass table, not even my alienware mousepad or my LOGITECH mousepad. Doesn't register 60% of clicks made. 25$ paperweight. Extremely angry at obvious poor QA. someone clearly just slapped a qa sticker on this and didn't check or fix a single thing. Obvious extensive use from prior owner. Refurbished should mean like new, not some mouse some guy used for 3 years then you repackaged. very, very displeased.

Other Thoughts: my 5 year old mouse works better.

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best

Pros: Have had this mouse for a couple of months now and could not be happier. I love the fact that it has great range, works on every surface I use, is reliable and extremely sturdy (surviving several accidental drops on tile floors). It is definitely my favorite mouse.

The other really neat thing about this mouse are the additional buttons that can be programmed to do almost anything that one wants to do with a mouse.

Cons: No cons for this mouse. I would buy it again.

3 out of 5 eggsworks almost anywhere. eats batteries.

Pros: works on almost any surface, even really fuzzy, plush blankets and smooth polished wood surfaces. tracks really well. i was able to game with, but it's not really a performance gaming mouse. you can switch it off to save power.

Cons: eats batteries. takes 2 AA batteries then eats those quickly. darkfield is like a battery black hole. now i use it for less intense computing with hi power rechargeables and always have 2 spare AAs for backup. so if you get this. also be sure to purchase a set of hi power rechargeables and a rapid-charger. seriously.

Other Thoughts: this mouse tracks well and has a good hand feel. changed to I ended up switching to a logitech G602 which lets you quickly change between either gaming or normal use to save battery life. I use this for less intense work and gaming of shorter duration.
