3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works, It is programmable, weight adjustable, it somewhat mimics my old G5 that is starting to act up a bit after 8+ years of heavy gaming.

Cons: I'm quite disappointed really. I thought Logitech would have improved, or at least kept the same standard of quality as my old G5.
Scroll wheel feels real sloppy, loose feeling, as though it's going to fall out.
During heavy gaming (DiabloIII) can feel the buttons flexing & flimsy.

Other Thoughts: Going to hang onto it for now, give it a good run for the money because I like the contours that fit my hand well. I'm not holding my breath.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect replacement for my late G5

Pros: I love the weight tray, I can add or remove weight to give the mouse the right feel in my hand. I like my mouse to be a little heavier so it doesn't feel like a delicate, fragile flower. The weight plus the way it glides smoothly over my mousepad really helps to ensure that the pointer is exactly where I want it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used a Logitech G5 until the scroll wheel stopped registering down. After I was unable to find a workable fix I wound up with the mouse from a $20 Logitech keyboard/mouse combo. That was fine but couldn't hold a candle to a gaming mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsNot the build quality I expected

Pros: This is a big improvement over the G500. The surface material feels nicer, and the buttons feel like they give better feedback. The internal components are *supposed* to have a better build quality than the G500.

Cons: I'm not sure how prevalent the issue is with this build version, but the G500 had enough reported problems that I'm giving up on this one. After some months of use, the mouse has started to, on rare occasions, double-click.

Better build-quality was one of Logitech's selling points for this mouse. I wish they would've also done better quality assurance.

Other Thoughts: If you use palm grip, this mouse is just about perfect. As a claw grip user myself, I was able to adjust. I may be switching to a Corsair mouse if this issue persists.

2 out of 5 eggsNot good

Pros: Comfortable to use, wight adjustments, nicely packeged.

Cons: Lasted less then a day. Next day after purchase speed button stopped responding, right click started to work like left click, updated all drivers, tried different settings, plugged in different USB ports, nothing helped.
Mouse also feels kinda cheap for its price ($69.99)

Other Thoughts: Will return, won't buy it again nor would I recommend to anyone.

2 out of 5 eggsMediocre

Pros: The mouse overall feels great, and the amount of buttons are perfect for almost every game.

Cons: I am top end gamer, and this mouse while able to have very high DPI, is very inaccurate in testing. Every time I would try to move the mouse it always felt like something was pushing against my movement. Other mice from other manufacturers will "glide" across the surfaces, but this one always felt like there was friction.

Other Thoughts: I rarely write reviews. However, this mouse overall is pretty good for the average gamer. If you're looking for precise aiming, and "gliding" this mouse is not for you.

Also, not really a pro or con for the product itself, but to me it was actually too heavy even without the weights.

2 out of 5 eggsWorked for almost a month

Pros: When it worked it was exactly what I needed. A mouse with extra buttons for some of the games that I play.

Cons: Today the left click began working as the right click. After uninstalling and attempting several fixes I decided to plug in an old mouse.
The old mouse works fine which tells me that this mouse has already failed within a month of ownership.

Other Thoughts: Using the software I was able to set the left click to another button which works, but is very uncomfortable to use as I it requires one to learn how to use a mouse differently.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: So I haven't had this mouse long, but I love it. This is replacing my razor naga, and I love the feeling of the g500s. I'm not sure that I'd pay 70 bucks for this, I picked it up at a retail store for 39.99.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost Perfect

Pros: -Build quality
-Size and shape
-Unlock-able scroll wheel
-Switchable DPI
-Braided cord

Cons: -Color and decal design
-Scroll wheel is a bit hard to press
-Blue DPI level lights

The color and design is more my personal opinion and doesn't really affect the product so I'm not going to take an egg off. I'm also not going to take an egg off for the scroll wheel be hard to press as compared to my old mouse.

Other Thoughts: I don't really like the color and decal choice that they made with this product. I wish they would have just gone with a flat grey or just made it black. I personally think that it being black would have been a better choice. The scroll wheel is also hard to press compared to my last mouse. I had a Microsoft generic 4 button that i had been using for about 6 years. I guess it being harder to press helps against false clicks. I also wish the DPI level lights were red to match my case.

I use this mouse mostly for FPS and i haven't messed with the profiles yet.

3 out of 5 eggsSlipery

Pros: Nice mouse, nice features & software

Cons: The texture on this mouse is not good. It has a weird sandy feel and the mouse tends to slip around in hand while gaming. It wants to fall out of my hand when lifting it. I had to put double face carpet tape on my thumb and right ring finger to be able to use it, and that's without the weights installed.

Other Thoughts: Don't let the cons stop you from buying. It's still a lot better than the Razer Deathadder 2013

5 out of 5 eggsG500S

Pros: Pros- Cable is braided
DPI buttons are in a logical place
Option to change the weight if need be
Solid Build Quality
Feels comfortable in hand
I use this mouse for 7-8 hours a day as someone who plays games and as well as someone who does work in After Effects
9/10. Would Recommend.

Cons: At first, the cable can be somewhat annoying to straighten out. -1.
