1 out of 5 eggsFailed within 9 months

Pros: Lots of buttons. Easy programming. The weight tray was interesting... i liked being able to tune the weight of the mouse.

Cons: Failed within 9 months. My last two Logitech gaming mouses have both failed within a year. I could be working with the mouse and it would simply start connecting and disconnecting. Eventually it stopped connecting completely.

Wire cover failed within weeks. The wire has a woven nylon outer layer that was wound too tightly. As the nylon relaxed, the inner wire protruded out so that I had a kinds of 2 inch loop on my wire.

Other Thoughts: The last two failures indicate an overall lack of quality. My next mouse will, hopefully, be something else. I like the form factor, but quality has been a real issue.

I don't understand, if I pay ~$50-$70 for a mouse, why the cord can't be a 14 gauge twisted cable. It does not seem to be a huge cost to put a substantial wire on a mouse.

Pros: I had given my son my g700. got a new mouse for a new build. and did not notice is was corded.

Cons: Is not very responsive. Sometimes the eye don't read right. and the cursor don't move. Not a great mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

Pros: Nice mouse for the most part. It seems pretty solid so far. Decent button placement.
I like the hyper scroll option for large pages.
Being able to adjust the weight of it is a nice feature.

Cons: I have trouble with the wheel button. While gaming you must press the wheel down HARD and HOLD IT or you will be tossing your granade/simtex/hatchet early. This is very annoying and often ends up sticking simtex to the wall directly in front of me and then killing a team mate next to me.

Wheel in hyper scroll mode is not balanced at all. Wheel spins very free but is heavier on one side than the other and will scroll down, stop, and then back up as the heavy side of wheel is pulled down by gravity. This is very annoying!

I've used the cordless mice for several years now. I decided to try a wired one this time. The cord is shielded with a braided cover that you can feel vibrate on back edge of desk (or any other object that it contacts) as you move the mouse around.

It does not fit my grip well. During heated battles it turns slightly in hand and index finger will depress wheel button along with left button. This too is very annoying and again I end up tossing a granade or hatchet when I don't want to.

Other Thoughts: All in all I would say the mouse is decent but I can't say that I'm very happy with it. I would not buy this model again.

4 out of 5 eggsFully featured, dual scroll disappointing

Pros: Precise tracking, excellent software, and great button layout, including three on the side. The shape is ergonomic and the texture on the sides is very grippy. DPI adjustment on the fly is a chich, mainly because of the DPI adjustment buttons' location on the top left side of the mouse instead of the usual location below the mouse wheel, like the Logitech G700's.

Cons: The only problem I have with this mouse is that the mouse wheel is too loose when locked; it continues to spin noticeably after I have stopped scrolling it quickly. This lack of precision can at times be annoying, yet rarely frustrating. In my opinion, this looseness renders the unlocked mode redundant unless you really, REALLY need to scroll.

Other Thoughts: I like this mouse for the side buttons, the location of its DPI buttons, and the texture of the material, but if you don't absolutely need a free-scrolling wheel, I recommend the G500 or the G700.

5 out of 5 eggsNice mouse

Pros: Tracks well and feels good
Adjustable weight
Good button placement
5 DPI settings
6 polling rates
Left and right scrolling via wheel
Good cord length

Cons: Could use some reinforcement where the cord enters the body of the mouse.

I wish it would come with replacement skates for the bottom of the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsfeels perfect

Pros: Feels smooth and fits your hands. Delivers very sensitive performance and never skips in gameplay. The programable buttons are very handy

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if they added color changeable lights like on the g510 instead of only blue.

5 out of 5 eggsSmooooth

Pros: Works beautifully. Selectable scroll wheel works just like it should. Once you get the weights where you like 'em the feel is great.

Cons: Wish I didn't have to install the profile software to be able to use the third side button.

Other Thoughts: Everything on the mouse feels like it should and the action is smooth and easy. Very satisfied. Upgraded from a dying G5 and this is a great replacement. And now I have a formidable collection of mouse weights.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for coding

Pros: Fast-scrolling option, adjustable weight, quite comfortable, fits nicely in hand, braided cord.

Cons: None, for my purposes. I haven't evaluated it for gaming, though, so take that for what it's worth.

Other Thoughts: I needed a new mouse for coding and gave this a shot. I was most excited about the fast scrolling and the adjustable weight. After completely loading up the weight, I realized I didn't like it quite that heavy and switched to the lighter weights. Also after using the fast-scrolling feature for awhile, I realized I just couldn't get used to the times where I wanted the scrolling to be a little more accurate so I switched off that feature. However, even in the normal clicky-scroll mode, if you flick the wheel a little harder, it will scroll further than most mice will. So that did end up being a feature I dig. Other than that, it gets the job done for coding, during which I admittedly try to avoid the mouse as much as possible anyway. But when I do reach for the mouse, it's a definite improvement.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works, It is programmable, weight adjustable, it somewhat mimics my old G5 that is starting to act up a bit after 8+ years of heavy gaming.

Cons: I'm quite disappointed really. I thought Logitech would have improved, or at least kept the same standard of quality as my old G5.
Scroll wheel feels real sloppy, loose feeling, as though it's going to fall out.
During heavy gaming (DiabloIII) can feel the buttons flexing & flimsy.

Other Thoughts: Going to hang onto it for now, give it a good run for the money because I like the contours that fit my hand well. I'm not holding my breath.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect replacement for my late G5

Pros: I love the weight tray, I can add or remove weight to give the mouse the right feel in my hand. I like my mouse to be a little heavier so it doesn't feel like a delicate, fragile flower. The weight plus the way it glides smoothly over my mousepad really helps to ensure that the pointer is exactly where I want it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used a Logitech G5 until the scroll wheel stopped registering down. After I was unable to find a workable fix I wound up with the mouse from a $20 Logitech keyboard/mouse combo. That was fine but couldn't hold a candle to a gaming mouse.
