2 out of 5 eggsworks but annoying

Pros: It is a very comfortable and ergonomic mouse.

Cons: The charger part of the mouse is useless. I had to start using regular batteries. It would not charge the 'rechargeable' battery consistently. I go through one A battery every two weeks.

Other Thoughts: I like the feel of it but the non functional charger makes it a piece of junk. I'm going to be forced to replace it.

4 out of 5 eggspretty good

Pros: almost as good as intellimouse 3.0.

good weight in hand, thumb buttons, good price for OEM

Cons: one of the best mouses i have ever used:

i have been searching for a wireless version for years, this comes close, but not the same.

the thumb button placement is off, both buttons should be smaller and moved forward on the mouse.

the chrome on the bottom will rub off on areas your fingers rest on a regular basis, though its not really noticeable.

connection can get weak, jumpy sometimes.

Other Thoughts: pretty good for the price, but not if you are serious gamer or using it with design programs where precision is #1

1 out of 5 eggsGlitchy needs a firmware update

Pros: Weighted, glides smoothly, forward and back button are in a good position, scroll wheel is silent, charging dock is easy to use and works fast.

Cons: The middle-click is impossible to use, it presses too hard and causes you to scroll forward, I had to set the back button as a middle-click in google sketchup and RCT3.

This mouse decides to try and shut off in the middle of anything you're doing and causes the cursor to jump and stop all over the place, even though it has a full charge. The DPI is too low as well for gaming, just don't get wireless if you're a gamer.

Hand gets hot and sweaty very fast, and I don't have easily sweaty hands.

Side shifting is too hard and I never use it, even though I thought I would.

The thumbstick is WAY to large and I feel like I'm going to break a USB socket everytime I got to move my computer or plug something into the back of my case.

I would not recommend this to anyone. Except maybe Hitl@r, he would bomb Berlin trying to hit the US.
Ya it's under inappropriate word.

Pros: it's wireless. it works sometimes?

Cons: very jumpy mouse. works for a few minutes then gets flaky. If I redock it it's ok again for a few minutes. ugh. Definitely no good for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsNot so good

Pros: Experience with Newegg was very good.
The mouse feels good in your hand (I like somewhat bigger mouses.)

Cons: Configuration seems to reset on every boot up.
BIG CON : The wheel scrolling speed is set to the lowest possible and is still WAY too fast. Very annoying. Seems everyone and his mother is having this issue, MS don't seem able to correct it. This is annoying enough that I will not buy MS mouses again.

Other Thoughts: The mouse works great. I never had problems with the battery. You can't use the mouse while it's charging so you have to charge it over night but I use it all day at work and have to charge it maybe once a week? Good enough for me. My problem with it is software.

2 out of 5 eggsEh, I want to go back to a wired mouse

Pros: Fits great in the hand, feels natural even if my thumb wants to rest on the table rather than the indentation meant for it. I've had intellipoint mice for years, and this is probably my first departure from one.

Cons: No software drivers found anywhere. Installed on both windows 7 and windows 8 64 bit. I can't even find the drivers on MS's cryptic site. Mouse is super jumpy. And even with 32gb of ram, 8 cores, and solid state drives this little guy is lacking. I'm sure if I could find the correct dirver for it, this would fix the issue, but for now, windows 8 just gives it a generic HID driver, leaving the precision at horrible. I wouldn't use this for gaming even if I was playing something 20 years old.

2 out of 5 eggsJust so you know....

Pros: This is my first feedback.....Sharp looking mouse....

Cons: OEM from Newegg....Generally retail and OEM products will include the exact same item. The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) acronym is used to denote equipment that is sold to resellers like Newegg for integration into systems. Also known as white or brown box products, these components are sold in bulk for a discounted price without any special packaging or accessories (except for possibly the necessary drivers), which allows Newegg to pass the savings along to our customers. NO CD .. No drivers... Pictures of products on the page mean just that... it is just a picture. You dont get everything that is there everytime.... Just sharing

Other Thoughts: Customer Support live chat just hung up on me and closed out our chat. Way to go Newegg

Pros: This type is a good mouse, but not the one I got, there is no packages at all and looks like been used... I don't understand this.

1 out of 5 eggsNo not buy

Pros: It has cool looking blue LED light on the bottom and a nice shape that fits my hand well.

Cons: It constantly looses signal making the mouse very jumpy & hard to use. I removed the receiver from my computer USB port and stuck it in a hub sitting directly in front of the mouse. It works better now but still not as well as my old Wireless InteliMouse Explorer 2.0 I bought 4 years ago. I switched back to it.

Other Thoughts: All my mice are MicroSoft so I was surprised when this one turned out to be a total piece of junk.

3 out of 5 eggsMicrosoft dropped the ball

Pros: grate mouse, the buttons are all in good spots for comfort and easy to reach, tracking is exceptional.

Cons: Microsoft dropped the ball with help in resolving the fact that the mouse arrived at my door in a non functioning manner, could not get past them wanting the ID number for the mouse, every # printed on the mouse was not the one's they needed. they could not even get a person that could speak English on the phone, the lights for the mouse do not work and the buttons work when they want to.

Other Thoughts: if this mouse worked the way that the older version (Explorer 5000) did well then it would be a grate mouse for the money. I bought this to replace my old and tired 5000 mouse.
