4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse For The Price

Pros: Connects quickly, solid buttons, light weight, great price, and small. Great mouse to keep in my laptop bag!

Cons: Could have a little better build quality, but for the price is good enough.

4 out of 5 eggsstable

Pros: It's great but the Logitech is match batter than Microsoft on the mouse.

Cons: two batteries is stupid because even you use one battery, its still could work well.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a mouse, more like a contemptible sewer rat!

Pros: Works well when it works

Cons: Really doesn't work when it doesn't want to work. Microsoft uses a shotgun approach to tech support for the hundreds of complaints against it. This mouse reeks of gnarled Limburger and I'd stay away from this disease ridden rodent.

3 out of 5 eggsUsed to like it

Pros: Worked good, battery life a couple of months. Good size for travel and desktop use

Cons: Whoops, the wheel doesn't work anymore after I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. Dell (who sold it) and Microsoft Tech support couldn't fix it, and blamed each other.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Little Mouse

Pros: I bought this mouse for use with my Asus TF700T Transformer tablet (which I had previously purchased from Newegg) after trying unsuccessfully to pair a Verbatim Bluetooth Notebook Mouse I'd purchased elsewhere.
The Microsoft 5000 mouse is small and comfortable for me and, best of all pairs without problems. I had been looking for a mouse that didn't tie up my only USB port on the tablet

Cons: The only con I can think of is I ordered it on Black Friday weekend from Newegg's listing on a well known auction site and they were apparently buried in orders that weekend, so it took longer to receive than Newegg's usual rapid shipping times. I can't really blame Newegg for being popular.

Other Thoughts: It's a nice size, feels good in my hands and it functions quite well with my tablet, so all is well as far as I'm concerned.
I've read a few other reviews criticizing the mouse for dropping connection, but had no problem there. I seems to have good battery life and is small enough to be easily portable.

1 out of 5 eggsRefurbished!? Seriously?

Pros: Super small, nice mouse.

Cons: Was used, even though never mentioned... You can tell by the scratches on the slide pads.

2 out of 5 eggsNot as good as the retail version

Pros: Small and easy to carry. Bluetooth that you dont need an additional adapter.

Cons: I had a retail version which I purchased 3 years ago. the wheel doesn't work well because of time so I decided to buy a same one. However, the quality of this business version is too bad that I had to return it. It feels very cheap on hand while it is cheaper than the retail version.

Other Thoughts: I don't understand why Microsoft made two versions and have different quality standard for them.

5 out of 5 eggsvery nice indeed

Pros: super comfortable, raised read to elevate your wrist naturally to prevent tendonitis(sp?) something that i suffer from regularly in both wrists. batteries last long enough as well, haven't needed to replace mine yet (using some GP AAA's i had already been using in a mini LED flashlight for almost a year before) .. SUPER cheap, BEST MOUSE FOR A LAPTOP AT ANY PRICE LEVEL!

Cons: no idea what the power and connect bottons and switch are supposed to do on the bottom, i've tried them.. they do nothing that i can tell.

Other Thoughts: just click the mouse and it works, sync'ed up easily to my HP pavilion laptop i bought at the sametime

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Worked OK out of box

Cons: Stopped working after about 20 hours of use

Other Thoughts: don't
I got this at Staples 'cause I needed a bluetooth mouse for a programming session.
I got used to it's slightly wonky cursor control and programmed away.
3 months later it quit entirely.
Micro$soft.
