5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: I love this mouse. It's a perfect fit for my whole hand (slightly larger than an average male's). The forward/backward buttons on the sides are well-place for my hand and easy to access. The tracking technology seems fine, but not noticeably better or worse than other standard technologies. Overall, the mouse has a great feel in your hand and looks to be very sturdy and long-lasting.

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsMicrosoft used to make good mice

Pros: Blue color light instead of red? Cheap on a Deal.

Cons: The mouse stopped functioning after 1 days usage. Won't work on 4 diff machines using any USB Port, running on any surface I can try. I suspect either a bad circuit board or a cheaply soldered connection of the chord, an issue that has plagued microsoft mice for a while now. Scroll wheel is free spinning, but not a big negative for me, at least when the mouse worked for the whole hour or so I used it.

Other Thoughts: I'm too busy to have taken the time and effort and cost to RMA a mouse that died immediately. Since it cost me under $10, I'm gonna let this one slide. Newegg is still the bomb!

2 out of 5 eggsMouse Wheel button DOSE NOT WORK!!!

Pros: I like this button layout, there really is a nice sense of symmetry to a 5 button mouse and really 5 plus 1 wheel button is good enough for me. it is also comfortable in the hand and Tracks Relaibly

Cons: Anyone who plays games where the wheel will scroll through items will find this particular mouse wheel obnoxiously slippery. This in and of wouldn't be a deal breaker, BUT THE FACT THAT THE MIDDLE MOUSE BUTTON DOESN'T WORK IS!!!!! not only dose the middle mouse button not work but the Driver software is ALSO broken. this is a deal breaker for anyone who works with maya.

Other Thoughts: this mouse is something of a paradox, it's like it's trying to appease to both gamers and casual users of PC's the result is bad mouse not good for ANYONE

5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse for reasonable price in deal

Pros: *I bought this mouse for $8
*Comfortable material
*Precise movement
*5 buttons
*Software from Microsoft is good with customized function such as macro
*The clicks from left, right, side buttons sound and feel fine

Cons: *The wheel is too smooth. I would like it has jumps for scrolling line by line
*Middle button (on the wheel) is too hard
*I prefer two side buttons on the left.
*Software does not include the dpi adjustment.

Other Thoughts: I has Logitech G9, G500, G400 and others. G9 and G500 outperform this Microsoft mouse. However, I think this mouse can be compared equally with my G400 with much better price ($8 and $29, both on deals)

2 out of 5 eggsnot worth $20

Pros: Has a good optical censer and smooth cursor movement. It works right off on Windows XP, Vista, & 7.

Cons: Overly big for a wired mouse. The scroll wheel has several issues. 1 the button on it almost never works first push. It takes several trys before it registers. 2 The scroll up and down dont like working evenly on all programs and screens, (more a driver issue but I could not sort it out). The placement of the back and forward buttons could be better one on ether side just too odd for one button or the other. My hand and fingers can't find a comfortable placement for both. Also the life of this mouse is low. The right mouse button stopped working in under a month. Id exchange it but I could not help but take it in the street and hit it with a baseball bat and watch parts fly. I felt some what better after that.

Other Thoughts: Hate to say it but if you want a multi button mouse that isn't garbage waiting to happen have to pay more money. Its a racket.

1 out of 5 eggsOnly tracks well

Pros: Tracking resolution is good, as an artist and gamer, it handles most, if not all of my needs.

Shape and size is great really takes the strain off your hand if you work with it all day.

Cons: All the buttons are poor quality on this mouse.

The left and right click buttons end up squeaking only after a few days. Hoping after a while it wears down and shuts up, but this noise seriously ticks off my cats, and me.

And the scroll wheel is loose, but doesn't have the moment to keep spinning with a good flick, still scrolls just as far as a clicky scroll wheel would but instead you're more likely to accidentally scroll if your the type of person to keep your middle finger on the scroll wheel.

I would look into a new mouse but for one that tracks this well, for this price, I might just have to cope with the squeaks.
