4 out of 5 eggsComfortable

Pros: Comfy on my rather large head.
Good crisp and well balanced sound.
Good for gaming and music.
Plastic actually feels quite sturdy.
Mic is somewhat adjustable.

Cons: Doesn't have the low frequency response that my old Sony Studio headphones had but they still sound very clean and balanced so that is a very small gripe.
The mic works great but adjustment is very limited.

Other Thoughts: The plastic on these is actually pretty solid, should laast a long time if treated proper, ie. not thrown against a wall :)
Sound is really good for gaming and pretty good for music and movies.
On my large head they are very comfortable. The longest I've worn them was for about four hours the other night and my ears were still feeling fine when I took them off. And that's all I could possibly ask for for the price. They are a very nice headset and I would recommend them.

5 out of 5 eggsNice sound, sturdy

Pros: Excellent sound. Sometimes I prefer the headset to my speaker system for the immersion, and my wife's sanity.

3.5mm input allows me to use this headset with other devices in my house, always handy.

The cord is LONG. I rolled over it with the desk chair a few times until I put an anchor on the desk to hang the excess. It's much better to have more than you need, than to not have enough.

Takes a licking and keeps on ticking - I've dropped these headphones MANY times, and for a long time, they didn't miss a beat.

Cons: Depending on how you adjust this headset, you can feel some discomfort on your ears, due to the weight of the unit. I no longer feel this, so I must have found my adjustment "sweet spot", or become accustomed to the weight.

Other Thoughts: After over a year of trips and tumbles, the muting module now causes audible clicks within the mic channel if tapped by hand or the computer desk. This clicking is sometimes audible on Vent.

Picked up this headset during a bigtime sale on Newegg. I have no regrets and will be buying another of the same when this headset dies, which may not be far off due to damage on my own part.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: I have owned two pairs of these over the last 8 years, with the first one lasting almost 6 full years. Here are a few pros:

-Long life

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: When my current set (eventually) dies, I will happily buy another.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: perfect sound quality, mic is flexible - can move both up and down or close to far away, volume control and microphone mute on the cord.

Cons: causes ears to hurt after extended use, cable is very short

Other Thoughts: I've had this headset for over a year and it's been my longest lasting headset I've ever had. I've dropped it many times and it still works. I've bought more expensive headsets - up to $80 probably, and none of them have lasted as long as this one! I can hear everything perfectly and no one has ever complained about static coming through my mic on my end or that they can't hear me. I would give it a full 5 stars if it wasn't for the pain after extended use or the short cable.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nifty

Pros: Makes sound go into my ears and the microphone works really well.

Cons: Hurts your ears after a while of extended use. These could be ergonomically better for the user which is why I dropped an egg off this product.

Other Thoughts: I really just needed a microphone but I enjoy watching movies and videos on my computer while others prefer to watch tv. These headphones are great for that but they would be better if they didn't hurt my ears.

2 out of 5 eggsGood while it worked

Pros: sound quality from the mic was good and sound from headphones was clear. Could wear it for hours without it bothering my head or ears. Long cord was useful too.

Cons: mic stopped working one day for no reason. One morning it was working, the next morning it stopped. I have had it for 1.5 years.

3 out of 5 eggsWanted so much more

Pros: These headphones have great sound quality. They are very comfortable for on-ear headphones. They have a thick foam ring wrapped in soft fabric. I like that the cable is extra long.

Cons: The headphones are heavy. So if I bend over while I'm wearing them, they fall off my head. Also, the microphone quit working after three months. I expected better quality from Sennheiser.

5 out of 5 eggs4 Years and Still Working!

Pros: Had this headset almost 4 years now (4 years in Sept 2012). This headset is still working very well.

It has sustained moderate abuse (dropping, stretching, readjusting, maybe I even threw it out of anger a few times) and it still fits my head well. The quality of the sound has never changed, the quality of my voice in the mic is still great.

Very, VERY comfortable on the ears, adjustable volume control, movable mic.

I've also never cleaned it, because there's been no need. The foam pads don't really collect dust or hair.

A very good investment that you can keep for years.

Cons: Doesn't really block out environmental noise.

After about 3 years, fellow gamers tell me they can hear what I hear in the headphones through the mic jack, EVEN when the headset is on mute. This is probably a weird connectivity between the mic and output line, that should not be. If I'm playing iTunes and have the mic muted (but a push-to-talk button down), they can hear (dimly) what I'm listening to.

3 out of 5 eggsLasted Several months

Pros: I bought this because I was tired of the Logi and Creative headsets breaking within 3 months. That and there was a huge discount. The sound quality is decent.

Cons: This headset managed to last twice as long as the others. I got about 7 months out of it. It was being held together with tape. I broke down and ordered a Logi but I paid over $100 for that one and it has good egg reviews.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Excellent sound, clear microphone and comfortable!

Cons: They do get a little tight and uncomfortable after 4+ hours on my large head. For reference, my hat size is 7.5.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset in April 2011 and have been using it for a little more than a year with no problems. I use this headset for about 1-2 hours per day generally and have used it for a 6 hour period a few times. They're MUCH more comfortable than the Logitech G330 headset, which I had to return because it was so uncomfortable!
