Pros: Light, comfortable, excellent sound and MIC quality. I regularly used a set of Sennheiser HD500 headphones for gaming but needed a MIC for team speak. A separate MIC was not cutting it. I chose the PC166 because I am familiar with the quality of headphones Sennheiser manufactures. Compared to the HD500 I own, the PC166 is smaller and lighter, which makes this set much more comfortable for those long gaming sessions. MIC performance is excellent too. This headset joined with an X-FI sound card made a night and day difference in my gaming experience. I would highly recommend the two.

Cons: Advertised as over the ear but actually sits on ear.

Other Thoughts: The headset comes with a USB connector option but I have not tested this out as I just plug directly into my sound card. I chose not to apply the foam attachment that is supposed to go over the MIC and it still functions perfectly. The MIC is not detachable and can not be mounted on the opposite side, for some this may be an issue.

Sennheiser Quality

Pros: I bought this set as a replacement for my aging PC-151 Sennheiser's. First off, the positional audio on these is second to none! You just have to experience it to believe it. It's comfortable and the microphone picks up only what's spoken, with absolutely no bleed through.

Sennheiser has yet to disappoint me with their headsets. They're simply the best.

Cons: It's unfortunate that New Egg doesn't sell the non-USB version of this headset (unlike the 151's).

The sound chip included in this set seems a bit shallower and tinnier than the PC-151 USB sound chip. However, it's by no means bad quality. I think I've just gotten way too used to the old one.

Other Thoughts: You can't go wrong with Sennheiser for gaming headsets. Crystal clear microphone, unparalleled positional audio, and comfort. Definitely worth the buy!

Great Item

Pros: Great Item, clarity is top notch and using Mic while gaming sounds crisp and clear, according to people on the other line. Very comfortable and light on the head. Have worn for about 3 hours and still feels good. I wear glasses and does not seem to interfere much, if at all.

Cons: The price will generally reflect such a top notch item. As such, might be out of the price range compared to other but still worth it in my opinion. The plastic at first touch/glance seems to be a little cheap.

Other Thoughts: Using the USB dongle and works great! Had a low volume problem but just adjusted the settings in Windows 7. Using Windows 7 64-bit and had no problems installing the usb and working right away.

Pros: This headset has by far the best sound quality of any of the ones I have used. The USB adapter was great while it worked (see other thoughts). The cord hasn't pulled out of any of the connections (i.e. where it attaches to the headset), which has been a huge problem for me in the past, before this headset I had to get a new one every two or three months. The inline volume control/mute is also nice for when I want to turn down my sound or if I need to mute my mic in a game without having to minimize or change it in the in-game options.

Cons: The cable is a little too long and sometimes get stuck in the wheels of my computer chair, I should have kept the thing it was wrapped around. Also, either the headset has stretched or my head has shrunk, because now, when I bend over to pick something up or look down to find the inline volume/mute it falls off of my head, although since I've had it for over a year I guess that's to be expected.

Other Thoughts: The USB adapter/sound card quit working after about 10 months, but I think that may have been a problem on my end as I've had trouble with my USB ports lately. The headset still works great with the 3.5mm plugs though, so it's not a huge problem.
