5 out of 5 eggsGreat for roms

Pros: It's just the right size and It's great for playing old school roms. Price is very good too.

Cons: It doesn't have analog sticks.

Other Thoughts: This is a good backup controller for a second player.

Pros: I had the fancy ones for years. This one is just as good.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If your game does not support this gamepad you may need JoyToKey or Xpadder. Go Ducks!

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive and does the job!

Pros: - Inexpensive

- Excellent response with no lag

- Light-weight, no frills, gets the job done

- Plug-and-play (Manufacturer does provide drivers on its website too)

Cons: - Button-presses do not register as events. Power management will activate in the middle of a game if the software you're using doesn't change them for you (i.e. some emulators). I've tried editing options under Device Manager, Power Options, and even the BIOS to no avail. Maybe I'm completely missing something. It's not so much a con since most software will temporarily change the power settings for you. (See other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I spent a good chunk of time trying to get the button-presses to register as events in order to prevent my display from shutting off and my computer from going to sleep. Searching forums yields many people with similar problems with no apparent solution. I solely use this gamepad with emulators, so an easy fix for me was to write wrapper-scripts that temporarily change my power settings using powercfg, run the emulators, then change my power settings back when finished. It works for me. Running Win 7 64-bit home premium.
