2 out of 5 eggsMeh. It's ok.

Pros: 5 button (+ multi-directional scroll) mouse. Relatively comfortable. Cheap.

Cons: The scroll will sometimes move to the next notch. The right mouse button is too easy to press. It might be the mouse. It might be my grip. Either way I accidentally right click way too much.

Other Thoughts: I had a GIGABYTE M6800 and bought this to replace it. Now I'm doing the reverse. I've reordered the M6800. I would return this one but it's not worth the trouble. The M6900 will become a backup. I sure hope they fixed the stink-hand problem with the M6800.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Budget Mouse

Pros: I was looking for a budget mouse after two of my Corsair Vengeance series mice developed issues with their scroll wheel. While those mice were excellent, I found it unpalatable to spend another $80 or so for a high DPI mouse every 2 years. This fit the bill and is working great.

Driver support is good and there is a switch to lower the DPI when I need to let someone else use my computer.

Cons: Lighter mouse compared to higher end gaming mice, feels a bit more plasticky. No lost stars since this is definitely a budget/starter gaming mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsGood starting gaming mouse, doesn't work on the surfaces I expect

Pros: Inexpensive, low-friction, buttons do not require additional FORCE software to be useful (have default settings). Generally has a good feel and size for my hands, and I think it might help improve my ergonomic situation.

Cons: I unboxed it, plugged it in, and tried to use it on my mostly-matte-black desk, and it didn't work (it is shiny enough to reflect monitor light). There was near-0 pickup of the mouse movements, unless I pressed down on the mouse body, perhaps getting the sensor microns closer to the surface? These days, I have high expectations for mice to work on virtually any flat surface; I have M320s and M325s that work on more surfaces than this mouse.

Other Thoughts: Further reading makes me think that for better use across multiple surfaces, the more expensive M6980 would have been a better choice.

2 out of 5 eggsVastly different from older models

Pros: The new rubber side on the right is a really nice touch compared to my previous m6900.

Cons: Like another review said, the tracking is off on this mouse. I owned one previously and it lasted me nearly 3 years. It was the perfect light weight and had the best tracking of any mouse I used to date. The new models however are heavier and no longer have perfect tracking. Im not entirely sure what changed, but after extensively trying to change every thing from in game accel to adding third party drivers I was unable to get the mouse on par with my old one.

Other Thoughts: I really loved my old m6900 and it got me through a lot of competitive matches (over other mouse like the CM storm spawn or logitech g700) I was incredibly disappointed with my replacement and will now be looking for a different brand to go with.

3 out of 5 eggsmeh

Pros: feels great in the hand
weight
size
plastic grip
build quality feels good

Cons: tracking is pretty bad, something just isn't right, hard to explain, played with lots of dpi variations, nothing felt smooth, very jittery, multiple mouse-pad surfaces as well.

Other Thoughts: i usually look for ergonomics in mice, like size in hand, weight, shape, number of buttons, scroll wheel feel etc. this one has everything, except the tracking, feels very laggy before and after software from website installed. still works but not happy with it

5 out of 5 eggsJust So You Know

Pros: I won't waste your time with how awesome it is. Look at the ratings, they speak for themselves. But I just wanted to let you know this mouse is version 2 and comes with a hard case. It is not the one pictured where it's wrapped in plastic.

I was very hesitant about buying the first versions of these guys but thankfully this is the 2.0 version.

Cons: None
