Best mouse i've ever used
- Pros: Works great, is really responsive. The 4th and 5th buttons on the right side work great and feel good to use. Wheel is nice as well. The pulsing light for the design looks awesome, especially in the dark.
- Cons: I can't really think of any cons at all, I've been using it for gaming and so far I haven't had a problem at all with this mouse.
- Other Thoughts: It is a very large mouse so if you have small hands you may want to go for another mouse but I have bigger hands so its good for me
Nice Mouse
- Pros: -Five buttons. I own an MX518 also (an excellent mouse too btw) which has eight buttons and I found I never use anything but five (2 thumb buttons for back and forward in web browser, left and right click, and middle mouse button/scroll wheel).
-Fits a right hand very well. -Big mouse. I'm taller than 6'6" and as a result have big hands. This mouse fits my hand great. -Light. Noticeably lighter than my old MX518. -Scroll Wheel feels extremely smooth and when pressed, has a nice easy click.
- Cons: -USB cable feels a little flimsy. Have to wait and see how well it holds up.
-Flashing blue LED is annoying if you're watching a movie, etc. I'm pretty sure it can be disabled with Razer's software though.
- Other Thoughts: Mouse preference is highly subjective. For some people this mouse will not be a good choice.
If you... -Use a claw grip when playing games... -Are left handed... -Have small hands... ...Then this mouse is probably not for you.
If you're a right handed, palm gripper with big hands, on the other hand, you'll probably like this mouse.

Best Impulse Buy
- Pros: This has got to be the most comfortable mouse I have ever used. I have fairly large hands and the mouse's ergonomic shape fits my hand perfectly, not causing me any pain or cramps after hours and hours of constant use in a variety of situations. Also, the matte surface really makes the mouse feel soft in your hands.
It's pretty to look at. The matte black surface on top with shiny black plastic on the side is topped only by the mesmerizing blue light, or white if you're a Mac user, the mouse wheel and Razer logo give off (Don't worry, if you don't like the light you can disable it). This is the kind of mouse people look at and want it only for how nice it looks.
Along with being comfortable and easy on the eyes, the Deathadder handles extremely well. With a maximum1800dpi laser with 1000Hz ultra-polling, the mouse not only exceeded my expectation for responsiveness and sensitivity, but also by its ability to work that well on almost any surface. Guaranteed a headshot every
- Cons: Sometimes the mouse can get dirty, especially under buttons 4&5, where I've noticed that dead skin cells tend to collect often, and though it isn't hard to clean, it is still annoying, and gross.
The mouse is a little light. As opposed to similar mice, the Deathadder does not have adjustable weights you can add or take away, which leaves it feeling too light at times.
The shiny black plastic used on the sides can get very slick after a little use and might require cleaning if you don't want your thumb slipping off.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse on impulse when I needed a new mouse after my G5 quit on me, and after over a year of use, I am still loving this mouse. I would definitely recommend not only the Deathadder, but also that you take a look at other Razer products as my experience with them has only been positive.
Fantastic mouse.
woo whoooo
- Pros: comfortable as hell... precisson is amazing when paired with my razer mouse pad... mice symbole.;.. beautifull blue color
- Cons: wish the logo could be set to stay on instead of flash on and off all the time
- Other Thoughts: ill buy another one if this one ever dies on me
Yeah, no.
- Pros: Ergonomic. The mouse is comfortable; it fits my big hands pretty nicely. The side buttons are placed so that you can't really misclick them. It's also quite accurate. Moves smoothly and quickly on cloth pads. The mouse wheel operates smoothly and quietly.
- Cons: Poorly constructed! There is a very bothersome issue that plagues TONS of these DeathAdders (and other Razer mice), where the mouse will register a double-click when you've only clicked once. It will also click sometimes when you are holding the mouse down. Obviously this is annoying in games. Just do a search on the internet; "Razer double click" on a search engine. There are guides to fix it yourself, but should you really have to open and WD40 a mouse that costs this much?
Also, those annoying blue lights stopped responding to the "Off" option in the Razer control panel. They are now permanently on. Awesome I guess, if you like your mouse pulsating blue light.
- Other Thoughts: If this were a cheap to average quality mouse, I'd say "hey, I got 6 months out of it, time to buy a new one." However, this is marketed as a "professional grade" gaming mouse, and you pay that premium, but a cheap cheap cheap Logitech is still more reliable.
Hopefully their customer service is good about replacing it!
