RAZER ORCA 3.5mm Circumaural Headphone

Pros: Adjustable, decent sound quality

Cons: Ridiculously short lifespan. Two different pairs completely stop working on one side after within a 4 month period.

Pros: They were decent headphones for about 5months after purchase

Cons: sound just began cutting out, very poorly made and quality and now the warranty has run out so I cant get a replacement. Never buying Razer headphones again

Pros: Great sound all around and a good pair of headphones.

Cons: Bought it because all my friends said it was a good one, between the time i bought it and now all of them have broken due to the cord at the base of the headphones being kinked always which isnt avoidable and sound just cuts out slowly unless you jimmy rig it with some tape, also short cord.

Pros: Decent general sound quality

Cons: Cord connection broke where it enters the left headphone about 2-3 months after purchase. Other cons:

Other Thoughts: I got this one from a different location, I am returning them shortly and I will replace them with a Razer Kraken, when i get that another review will be issued

Pros: They sounded pretty good, feel pretty comfortable and don't block out sound, which I like.

Cons: They break pretty easily, apparently. After 6 months of use on my first pair, the left ear piece started going out because of the cord connection to the headset. I figured it was just normal wear and tear and got another set since it was decently priced. Well, now about a month into my new headset and the exact same thing is happening again. Another broken set because it's cheaply made.

Other Thoughts: I honestly wouldn't recommend this to anyone, just go with an actual quality headphone brand that make headphones and don't specialize in mice.

Pros: The Orca headset is comfortable, lightweight, and decent quality for the price. The colour is a little bright, but it grow on you after a while.

Cons: However, I have replaced it once and it has broken again. I bought my first Orca in June of 2011, and in the following January, one side of it went out. I asked for a return, and received a new one promptly. A few days ago, I noticed the same thing, the sound was out in one of the ears. Unfortunately it's been past the original purchase date, so I'll have to buy a new one.

I'm very gentle with my headsets, and the fact that this one breaks after a few months of use is a little upsetting. I had used it daily when I had my first Orca, but with the second one I hadn't used it as much. It seems like there is a lifespan, and once it reaches X amount of hours, one of the ears dies. I like to have a headset that will last, but that doesn't seem to be the case with these. I usually stand by Razer, but these headsets aren't worth it.

Pros: Not really any pros because I can't wear them long enough to enjoy anything about them.

Cons: Says they are circumaural but these things are small. I don't have a large head. They hurt the top of my ears and if I adjust them up higher on my head so they don't pinch my ears they hurt the bottom. I can only wear them for about 20 minutes before my ears start to hurt and I have to let my ears rest for several days before I can wear them again.

Other Thoughts: I would not purchase this item again.

Pros: these headphones have lasted over 2 years already. they still look and feel the same as they did the first day i got them!

Cons: if you wear them for over 5 hours straight they start to make the flap of your ear ache a little where the cartilage is.

Other Thoughts: i have a bunch of razer stuff including mouse, keyboard, goliathus mousepad, and these headphones. this brand is definitely like an LV or Chanel of gamer merchandise.. all great quality eye candy!

Pros: I bought these as multipurpose phones. While they're marketed as "gaming" headphones, I also used them for guitar practice and listening to music. When they work they produce a nice sound. They're also light and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Cons: Jack is a guaranteed point of failure. Lost sound on on the right side after owning them for less than a year. Luckily for me, I was able to RMA them. Expect a nice delay from Razer when RMA'ing; they didn't exactly process it with a sense of urgency. Fast forward to today and I now have no sound in the right ear. You can hear a short (just like the first time) when you move the wire.

Other Thoughts: I understand that 50 bucks may not be much, but it's 50 bucks to me and I'll spend it somewhere else if a company like Razer is going to sell me guaranteed to fail junk. I don't like wasting money, I don't like wasting time sending stuff to California so Razer can send me something back with the exact same flaw and I'm sure not going to spend my way out of poor design/materials by upgrading to their "better" sets for more money. Razer struck out with me - they got my money once and that's it. I will be purchasing new headphones this week and they will not be manufactured by "Razer".

Pros: Alright quality, very crystal clear and comfortable

Cons: Within 2 months the left speaker went out, then after another month the right speaker went out. Customer support was horrible at Razer, they kept delaying and delaying my return -- still waiting for it
