4 out of 5 eggsVery good headset!

Pros: Love the feel and look of this headset found it to be comfortable and look very cool as well

Cons: The faux leather ear pads began to wear out after a year and the seams inside the ear pads ripped exsposing the foam inside not that big of a deal as that can be expected after a year of constant use

Other Thoughts: Looks like a helicopter headset which is pretty cool

1 out of 5 eggsNOPE NOPE NOPE

Pros: Comfortable
Single 3.5mm plug instead of 2

Cons: Mic wire prone to shorting out

Other Thoughts: With less than a year of usage, my mic cable is shorting out. I know this because it is causing loud popping for friends on teamspeak whenever the mic wire is moved. I've contacted razer and they sent me a used, dirty mic that has the same problem, but even more sensitive to movement.

For this price, I cannot stress how unacceptable this is.

2 out of 5 eggsOverrated, overpriced

Pros: These headphones are well built and the microphone is well situated. The detachable headphone is a quality that more headphone makers should adopt. As stated previously, these headphone are pleasing to the eye, although some might find them a bit garish.

Cons: Poor sound quality. The highs sizzle and spit, and the lows are prominent making the mid range difficult for the ear to access. Unfortunately, the mids are where most of the information is. During games peripheral and low level information is often drowned out. When it comes to music these headphones are totally unacceptable, sounding completely unnatural. Both the Logitech 930's and the Corsair Vengeance line sound better in game and more natural with music. These headphone, comfortable at first become increasingly more uncomfortable to wear. All unacceptable at this price.

4 out of 5 eggsA Go-To Buy

Pros: They have very good amplification not just onboard but as 32ohm cans by themselves. Razer surround helps out a lot even with its already booming base.

Cons: Treble heavy music isn't ideal with these but they can still hold their own. Also the build quality feels flimsy but it's still strong.

4 out of 5 eggsSplendid, but just one problem.

Pros: This headset is really quite nice, it makes my voice sound crispy and i hear all my friends and games very clearly. The detachable mic is amazing as it turns into regular on-the-go headphones whenever. They seem pretty darn durable as well as I haven't been to careful with them and not a thing has broken on them or even became loose. Lastly, I really like the look of them and how they remind me of a helicopter pilot's headset.

Cons: They are comfortable, but after a long gaming session they start to lose their touch upwards of 6-7 hours they start to become uncomfortable. I am lazy though and haven't really taken anytime to fine tune them for my head size, which probably causes that problem. The real problem, the reason it got knocked down an egg is about 2 months in it started making a high pitch whistle that my friends can hear over Skype. I've tried to fix it many different ways and nothing has worked, but it doesn't affect me, so it is not that big of a deal.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Sound quality is great, Cancellation is great, build quality is outstanding.
I have used a lot of headphones and these are the best bang for your buck. I use for gaming and casually listening to music. While they are not the most supreme quality, they do a great job for the money.

Cons: Size.
No in line volume. (I use volume control on the keyboard, so not an issue)

They look a bit larger than what they are. I was expecting giant cans like a helo pilot in the military or something, but these are a bit smaller. While they cover the whole ear, they seem a bit smaller than I was hoping. That was my only complaint.

Other Thoughts: Packaging was amazing and the cable quality is great.

3 out of 5 eggsDying too quickly

Pros: Great sound isolation, and when they are working transmit and receive very well.

Cons: No volume control, no mute. I bought these so that I could tune the rest of my noisy household out when I am both playing games and when I use Skype to do my job during the day. After 3 months the wire for the microphone seems to be going out. I thought at first that I was having a motherboard issue, but have tracked it down to the wires in the headset. These are expensive headphones to be dying that quickly.

1 out of 5 eggsRazer Blackshark

Pros: None.

Cons: Absolutely terrible build quality, slowly but surely completely falls apart. The microphone is awful, bad quality and the sensitivity is constantly changing. Sound quality is mediocre by far especially considering the price tag on the headset.

Other Thoughts: Completely frustrated and annoyed from this lack luster piece of garbage product Razer has made, but now I know that I'll never make the mistake of buying a Razer headset ever again.
