1 out of 5 eggsNot a clue where people got their ears

Pros: The color? Honestly the build quality feels pretty good, but not much else beyond that.

Cons: These things sound like complete garbage for almost anything but gaming. That may be why most people bought them, but just about anything you do outside of gaming will sound like garbage. There is a lot of muddy sound, and playing sounds from multiple sources (let's say gaming with music playing) just does not work. The sounds just walk all over one another and create a mess.

The bass on these is okay, there is hardly any mid and high tones coming through at all. They are there, you can definitely hear them...but they are DEFINITELY lacking.

Honestly, I got these for around $50... they sound worse than some of the $10 headphones I have gotten from the dollar store.

The Logitech G930's sounded better, but did not last very long. I will be replacing these with something else as soon as they start to fail... I cannot wait!

The other really big problem with this is microphone bleed... any sound playing through the headphones is basically picked up by the microphone, and to people you may be talking to in voice chat make it sound like you are playing with speakers.

Other Thoughts: If you are an audiophile, or even like your music to sound decent...steer clear of these.

1 out of 5 eggsOverhyped junk

Pros: They made sound.

Cons: Everything else

Other Thoughts: Let me start by saying I am not some child or young person that get's hyped about pretty colors and marketing. I was looking for a comfortable, well designed, well constructed gaming headset with a great mic. Razer Kraken Pro DOES NOT fit into that category. I keep seeing people saying how great they feel and how great they are deigned. Everyone of those people have been sniffing way too much glue. These are the most uncomfortable and poorly designed headphones I have EVER worn, and I have 12 headsets sitting in the closet now because the 12th pair in these don't fit or sound worth a cr4p.The ear cups are perfectly circular and not deep nor wide enough. Who has circular ears? Not to mention who has small enough ears to fit into the tiny ear cups? Oh I know who. Children and Women. The same people who think the idea of a neon green frog sitting on your head is stylish. If you have normal size ears, it is doubtful they will fit into the cups all the way. Your ears will hurt after a while. Not to mention the heat and sweat generated from the fake leather pads. The sound? Washed out and way too much bass. In games an explosion is so loud it completely washes out anyone talking no matter how you adjust the settings. Let's talk mic. HA. Noise canceling my buttox. This thing has the most un protected mic I have ever heard. It's normal to hear a little noise if you touch the end of the mic. This mic is so uninsulated that if you touch the headset, the mic arm or even the cord you will get noise on your mic. You can use it for chat and sure it's clear enough for people to understand you but in terms of quality it's junk. Oh, did I mention that it was all plastic? There wasn't even an idea of metal around this headset. Even my cheap TBs have metal screws. This this is just clipped together plastic junk. Hey let's talk about that great box! The box is awesome. It only took be about 15 minutes to figure out how to open that melodramatic, unnecessary, monstrosity. Seems like they took more time and resources in the box and hype then they did for a good headset. In short. Don't believe the hype. Razer makes good mic but their headsets are junk. Though they are overpriced a good pair of A40s or even A30s will make you much happier. If you have the money go for some Seinheisers.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: -Good Sound Quality
-Awesome retractable microphone
-Great cord length

Cons: -The microphone has this sort of humming sound. I don't know if it's just my computer or there is something wrong with the cord
-That's all of the cons

4 out of 5 eggslove these BUT

Pros: sound wonderful, comfortable for the most part, match(kindove) my razer keyboard and mouse, retractable mic!

Cons: retractable mic!:
so i have had these for almost a year now and it seems that something has gone wrong internally with the microphone wiring which is strange because i hardly used it at all and it stays retracted unless it is in use. other than that after long use the speaker sits on the rim of my ear and after long use cause slight discomfort (thicker ear-cup padding would fix this).

Other Thoughts: i love high quality sound and i love razer and do not regret buying these one bit, i am however puzzled at how my microphone broke with so little use and disappointed with this as now i have to use my phone for skype calls when playing pso2 or any outer game.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Amazing sound. Fantastic for games, especially FPS's
-The bass is actually rather balanced. It's just right
- Retractable mic is very handy
- It's terribly comfortable. I can wear it for hours at a time and have no issue
- Looks fantastic

Cons: - The wire is the biggest pain I have ever experienced. It constantly curls and will NOT stop. I've tried everything I can and it refuses to straighten out. I've even braided it with tape and got a replacement pair. Still the same issues. Even my Carcharias didn't curl this much!

5 out of 5 eggsVery impressed

Pros: Great sound. Everything is perfectly clear even at lower volumes, which I appreciate.
There isn't any sound leakage until you get to medium-high volumes.
The microphone is easily extended from the left side. Upon testing it several times I'm pretty satisfied with the clarity, especially considering it's a headset mic and not a recording mic used for music.
While the padding on the head band is thin it's still high quality enough to be comfortable even after I've been wearing them for over three hours.
The color is closer to what I can only describe as a radioactive green than the green in the picture, but it's still very close which is nice.
It was very well packaged, shipping was prompt and I was kept well updated.

Cons: The noise cancellation isn't too great. I do prefer listening to my music at a lower volume, so that may have something to do with it. (In my situation I need to be able to hear my Grandmother if she calls for me so the fact that I can still hear some outside noise is perfect for me personally. Maybe not for you.)
They are much larger than I anticipated, but that might just be my lack of experience with headsets like this one. They stick out two inches from my ears which will take some time to get used to.

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. They're a pretty good headset to get if you've never had one, like me. I haven't seen any reviews say anything fantastic about longevity so I guess I'll see how long they last. They're perfect for the new music mixing program I got (also from newegg)

3 out of 5 eggsPretty but Cheap

Pros: It's nice looking and it fit my head pretty well. The sound clarity and input was alright. The retractable mic was a nice touch since I could just grab it and slap into my ipod.

Cons: Brittle cheap plastic.

Other Thoughts: Got it for my birthday and had it for less than a year when one day I put it on and heard a snap. The plastic around one of the hinges broke and gorilla glued it. The next day, -snap- the plastic around the other hinge broke and the headset went promptly into the trash.
