5 out of 5 eggsSolid headset

Pros: Sound amazing. Downloaded Razer Synapse for Naga mouse and found that there is also software for the headset! the software has so many options to customize your sound and also includes surround sound customization.
Razer Synapse Surround Pro lets you calibrate the surround sound before using it to adjust to your specifications; also has bass boot, sound normalization(reduces variation of loudness by adjusting frequency lvls), presence level(clarity of incoming communication by audio filtering) and volume adjustment for incoming communication. The software comes with fully customizable EQ.
EARGASMS 4 DAYZ.
Detachable boom mic is a huge plus.
This headset is very durable and pretty comfortable with the memory foam ear surrounds and top headband.
It looks hella sweet.
These are truly "over the ear" i have large ears and some headset would sit on my ears when they claim "over ear". The Black Sharks are oval shaped so they fit over my ears completely

Cons: If I don't have it sitting correctly on my head, the headset will push on my "Antihelical fold"(had to look that up)AKA the outer hard part of ear, and after an hour or two it will start to hurt. Maybe i just have weird dumbo ears!
If the mic is detached and the plug isn't in the headset outside noise will come through.
The little fuzzy thing covering the mic gets dirty/dusty--not really a problem.
No software disc--not a problem b/c its available for free online
I wear it too long and my hair looks funny;)
I bought these after upgrading my subwoofer and speakers and I prefer to use the headset. QQ

Other Thoughts: Snagged these badboys off Refurb for 39.99!

5 out of 5 eggsFor this price you cannot lose!

Pros: The cuffs on this headset seal very well around your ears, the material of the head strap is very comfortable, and after hours of continual use, it still felt great, the mic/headset adapter can be removed and works great with Android devices

Cons: This headset is very overbearing in the lower frequencies, It is very bass heavy, and although that may be good for kids playing games the really feel the explosions, I found I had to EQ this headset to get a more flat response out of them, the 4 connection barrel connector is not compatible with the PS4, I had to get an adapter to connect to the separate headset/mic adapter to adapt it to the PS4.

Other Thoughts: All in all I would say that this is a great headset, other then the bias to the bass and the compatibility with the PS4 controller, I am completely satisfied with this product.

1 out of 5 eggsMuddy Audio

Pros: I like the unique style and design

Cons: Muddy Audio
Hollow Sounding
I'm not sure whether my headset is broken or the factory eq is terrible

Other Thoughts: I really really really wanted to like these. I've always admired and envied Razer products. I've heard awesome things about Razer headphones. I would love to get a replacement and change my opinion of these headphones. I can't bring myself to believe that Razer makes low quality products and i want to believe that my pair happened to be broken.

3 out of 5 eggsgood condition

Pros: Good condition for a refurbished, sound quality is great. Fits nicely and adjustable, but be cautious of doing so.

Cons: 1 little clip on the left side is kinda loose and you can hear a little metal cling if you move your head

Pros: Excellent condition-Like New. sound quality is excellent with Bass sounds that are decent and not over powering. Couple these with the Razers surround sound download (at aditional cost) and get decent gaming sound.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound, but there are issues!

Pros: Great dynamic range for a headset and clear microphone. Using the Razer Synapse Configurator is easy to set up and use. There is a difference is using the software and not. Highly recommend using it. Personally i had to reduce the Bass Boost to my taste through the software but that is very easy to do.

Cons: 1. The unit did not come with the extension cable that allows you to split the mic and audio, so this means the cable is short. So if you are plugging into a laptop your fine which is my case, but if i want to plug into a desktop the cable will not be long enough.
2. The metal that connects from the ear-cups to the headband rattles. I used some black tape hold in place which reduced the rattling.
3. The plug that is used to replace the microphone also is not a snug fit and can rattle once you move your head. The rattling of those two are audiable to those around you and also you can hear it when wearing the headphones and is distracting.
4. Also if you have the headset on your head there is bleed of the audio and other can hear. Which is one of the reason to use a headset IMO.

Other Thoughts: Overall it is a great set of headphones and works for my uses. The extension cable can be replaced easily by going to a local shop and picking it up, and the tape on the earcups reducing the rattling. I dont plan on removing the microphone for my uses but if your looking at doing that than just know the included plug rattles once installed.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Very Sturdy
Comfortable
Looks good

Cons: Cord could be longer
volume/controls on the cord would be nice

Other Thoughts: I have a habit of destroying headsets. I have torn through at least a dozen headsets in the $100 range. I'll accidentally sit on them or snag the cord with my foot and rip it out of the computer and end up snapping the cable.

This headset does not have these problems. The metal frame stands up to abuse very well. The two section cord it uses has the bonus of acting as a quick release so if you snag it , it pulls apart safely at the coupler.

It uses little knobs that you can tighten/loosen to adjust parts of the headset. There is on on the microphone that will constantly in motion and as a result it can work itself loose if you don't get it super tight. Do that and you should have no issues.

4 out of 5 eggsHeadset performance

Pros: Use these for phone calls in high noise environment's and they perform great. Very clear on both ends, also listen to music while mowing the lawn. Block out noise and comfortable.

Cons: Clips on headset rattled. Used small piece of electrical tape to eliminate.

3 out of 5 eggsMissing splitter

Pros: Does what it is supposed to do.

Cons: It did not come with the mic/headphone splitter. I had to buy that extra.

Other Thoughts: Some of the reviews complaining about mic sensitivity or bleed-through of sound could be because of the fit of the headset plug into the splitter being off a little bit causing the earphone or mic contact on the headset to touch the wrong contact inside the splitter.
