Failing to use this headset could be fatal to you or one of your teammates. This great gaming headset was designed by Creative and Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. The closed back ear cups hold large 40mm drivers powered by neodymium magnets. The plush ear pads hold everything comfortably in place.
The noise cancelling microphone is removable for transport or storage. The superior pickup ensures that your team won't confuse "get down" with "go around". When the game is done, this headset makes a great set of regular headphones to listen to music while winding down.

Great Headset
- Pros: In my opinion this headset is great. It is comfortable, even when worn for an extended period of time. The sound is fantastic, rich and full, and you can get it really loud if you want to. The microphone is detachable and you can position it very easily and it will not move, plus it transmits crisp and clear.
- Cons: Fatal1y logos and signature all over it but who cares, its not like your going to be wearing it out in public a lot
Great headset! Amazing bass!
- Pros: The headset is highly comfortable and ergonomic. It is great for bigger ears and it hugs almost your whole ear. It does not cover the ear. It also has very soft cup-coverings in order to allow for 5+ hour wear. They have extremely heavy bass reflex and great feedback with lower frequencies. They function perfectly for music, games, and chatting. The disconnectable microphone is a nice feature, and it stays in place perfectly unlike many headsets.
- Cons: The build quality is less than my pair of Sennheisers. They feel a little cheaper than a more expensive pair. However, they are still good and durable for the price. The volume controller causes uneven sound adjustment for each channel in the lower volume range. You will see a slight fade in the left speaker sometimes when it is quiet.
- Other Thoughts: I have gone through many headsets. Currently, I am in a long-distance relationship that requires headsets so I have much in the way of wear-and-tear with them. I have the Sennheiser PC166 for home use, and they are very high quality. Yet amazingly, the Creative pair have better sound quality due to the enhanced bass. I really like this headset and I would recommend it wholesomely to people who like music. Logitech's headsets are not good for music. I will advise people away from them for musical needs.

Great Headset!
- Pros: Very comfortable. You can wear these for hours and it'll never irritate your ears or head. The mic works perfect and is detachable. Very durable, had these for almost a year and they still work as good as new.
- Cons: The detachable microphone doesn't move up or down, but it's still bendable.
- Other Thoughts: I would recommend this headset for any serious or casual gamers.

Garbage
- Pros: They are black.
- Cons: Absolute garbage. I purchased one pair from newegg, they came with the cable that attaches to the headset loose. The sound began to crackle a few days later, first in one ear, then the other. I returned them to newegg, who was very prompt at sending me another. Plug the new set in and guess what? One of the ears was dead, right out of the box. Needless to say, not amused. Aside from sound cards (to which there is a great history), I would recommend never to purchase anything from creative.
