5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: -AMAZING sound quality, always the best from creative
-micphone works great, no problems
-software with it is outstanding, you can mess with so many settings.

Cons: Ive had none

Other Thoughts: People who posts bad reviews about this product makes me confused. I have owned this headset for at least 2-4 monthes now. I LOVE it. People who say they have broken probably just didn't take care of it. Always make sure you take care of any headset.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth It

Pros: Wireless

Cons: Wireless wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly far either. Maybe 15~ft.
Very uncomfortable, cheap materials, hurts your ears.
Sound quality isn't better than the $30 fatalitys
Not robust at all

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: Great sound quality, good range (about 15-20 feet).
Discovered that the mic quality is amazing. My Skype friends can hear me clearly without any excess background noises (I use a mechanical keyboard, and they can barely hear it while I play).

Cons: There is a VERY slight lag in transmission. I was playing DJMAX Trilogy and had a hard time getting the timing correct on button presses. This would probably go the same for any other music/rhythm game that you use this for.

Since this is a wireless device, though, it's acceptable and not bad enough to dock an egg (it still works great for other applications).

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: Nice sound, good range.

Cons: Abysmal construction quality. Microphone broke after 2 weeks. Started popping and now the volume is so low nobody can hear me in any game, even with volume set to 100%. Charging cable shorted out after 1 month. Left earphone completely broke off after 4 months. Right side after 5 months. Absolutely unacceptable. I read all the bad reviews and assumed they were isolated incidents. Don't believe me? Be my guest, buy them, then come back in 6 months and re-read my review and regret your purchase, like me. I will never buy Creative headphones again.

Other Thoughts: Waste of money, DO NOT BUY.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW!!!

Pros: CORDLESS!!!!! WOO HOO!!! Works with my late 2010 Mac Mini, my HTPC and my gaming computer!!! Enabling the EQ you can basically double the volume up to and beyond the speaker rating if desired. Sounds freakin awesome!! Then again, I have been using mine for watching tv and bluray's on my HTPC. Havent developed a liking for sound with my video games. Also, rechargable. Use the same mini USB to charge my Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Cons: None yet, overwhelmingly enjoying the awesome sound!! Requires tuning through the software which can be overwhelming for some novice audiophiles.

Other Thoughts: I would and have recommended this headset to others with similar interests. If you like great sound at a reasonable price, you cant lose by picking up these cans. Granted, there are better out there, but at higher prices. I like to go to the head, refrigerator and microwave and not have to worry about tripping over a cord, or worry about whether the cord is long enough. Hope this helps seal the deal for you.

4 out of 5 eggsLove this headset

Pros: sounds amazing for both games and music, great bass and crisp highs and mids, comfortable, wireless so that doesn't get in my way

Cons: no cons

Other Thoughts: earcups may be a little small for some people. makes a beeping noise when its at low battery but better than just dying in the middle of a game

1 out of 5 eggsQuality Fail

Pros: acceptable sound quality. wireless.

Cons: very poor wireless range. volume buttons must be pressed repeatidly. you can not adjust the volume by holding these buttons down. heavy compared to other models with superior performance. mic plug and receptacle are awkward.

Other Thoughts: this headset has ruined me on wireless headsets. the fading signal (i am 2 feet from the dongle) is maddening!

3 out of 5 eggsIt is okay

Pros: +good bass
+comfortable on head + sturdy feel
+flexible mic
+clear mic
+ok for playing ok for movies good for music with bass.

Cons: -signal range less than claimed, only 5-6 meters even if no walls.
-very challenging to insert charge cable into headset if wearing it same time
-mic mute button makes sound (pressing mute) which other people can hear in conversation
-all buttons are awkward, why not used some kind of roller buttons?
-if battery dying, annoying beep sound is heard
-little hiss sound if transmitter connected and no other sounds
-not real 3D sounds (i dont even recognise well directions with the sound)
-earcup plastic feels cheap

Other Thoughts: Althought the headset is average, i still like it, thought bit pricy with these cons. I wouldn't recommend for a serious gamer.

I'am worrying that i will break the charge connectors as it feels impossible to plug the cord if wearing headset. The connector won't just slip easily into hole, instead it is blocked by the hole's connector edge. I have to take off my headset and pay attention when connecting the cord.

Earcup plastic is too thin/hard. I have knocked my headset few times against door frames and other stuff when walked around, and the hit sound is worse than i thought. Makes my ears ringging.

I'm bit feeling the battery doesn't last what's claimed but i haven't checked time.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: It works pretty good, and sound is good, I never used the mic on it so I can't speak about that part.

Cons: The bridge that holds the "ear muffs" over the head broke on both sides in about 6 months. I was able to fix this with a couple of sheet-metal screws i put right through to the outside housing. Why didn't I send it in on warrentee you ask? Well... because I dropped them from about waist high, so they didn't survive the impact. But that was only on one side. The other side actually failed on it's own about 1 month after the first one.

They are 1yr old almost to the day now. The headset requires recharging so often you almost can't call them "wireless" any more. Also, and more annoying, is that you have to STOP using them when the charge is out, and let them charge for a while before you start using them again.

Other Thoughts: Being 150.00 you would think these would have lasted longer, but I'll be replacing these at the end of the month, and "creative sound" isn't on the list of the ones I'm looking at. I have used creative sound products in the past. The first Creative Sound product I purchased (a sound card) was in 1998, and was thrilled with it. This purchase has tarnished that companies luster probably forever. What a shame.

1 out of 5 eggsDollar General has better quality.

Pros: Bought this headset because I figured Creative Labs had good quality. But my headset that I bought from the dollar store for 10 bucks lasted longer than this $150 product.

Cons: After the 30 day window that newegg gives you, the USB plug broke off inside the headset rendering it useless. Creative will not replace the unit and their website is designed to keep you from ever finding help with customer service. It's a waist of time and money, don't buy from Creative, their quality standards are lower than that at the dollar store.

Other Thoughts: Total rip off.
