3 out of 5 eggs"Meh". I said, "meh".

Pros: The major factor in buying this was price. There simply aren't many steering wheel/pedal combos available at this price point.

It worked with the racing games we've tried - but ONLY if used with the default windows drivers!

If you use all four suction cups underneath AND the supplied "C" clamps it stays in one place well enough on the desk.

The plastic construction tends to creak and groan when used, but seems well-constructed enough to last under moderate usage.

Cons: Installation was awful. I followed all instructions to the letter, and here's what would happen: Calibration is by "automatic calibration" only, no adjustments except for force feedback levels.

Installation was easy, the calibration looked good, so we loaded a game, but in-game it would steer VERY fast to the left - and wouldn't steer at all to the right!

Exit the game, calibration is off to the far left. Auto calibrate again, everything looks good again, play a game, same thing keeps happening, over and over.

Tried different games. No change.

Finally used the driver cd that came with it to uninstall the drivers, used standard windows drivers (XP found it as soon as it was plugged in) and it has worked well since.

No force feedback, either, just a weak "vibration feedback" thing it does. Makes your hands go numb. Leave it off.

Feels cheap. Small in size. Only has 180 degrees of movement lock-to-lock.

Other Thoughts: In my mind, you buy a wheel for the immersion factor; you want to feel like you're driving a real vehicle. This wheel actually detracts from that enjoyment, as it just seems numb in usage.

If it had worked out of the box, with the supplied software, I'd have rated it a solid four eggs, due to the cheap price and the fact it actually does work as a decent pedal/wheel combo when Windows drivers are used.

It just doesn't have the same "feel" as a higher-end controller. You get what you pay for. This is just average, and I had hoped for more.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: worked well... at first

Cons: drivers that come with it dont allow you to calibrate it. they say it calibrates automatically... i doesnt. In order to make it work, you have to use the standard windows drivers which do not support force feedback. after just 1 week, it spazzed out. in the calibration screen, the indicator was jumping all over at the slightest touch.
