If you don't need mic, great

Pros: The sound quality is good, and they're very comfortable to wear.

Cons: Mic stopped working less than a week after purchase. The part of the headset where you can adjust the side split apart not to long after that, still usable, but that's not the point.

Other Thoughts: Look for another headset, this one is a disappointment overall.

Pros: Sound quality is good for the price. True 5.1 surround sound instead of surround sound emulation. Comfortable even when worn for a long time.

Cons: The inline volume control is this unit's weak point. My headset developed a short in the inline volume controller after 2 months of occasional use. Never dropped, not even scuffed.

Other Thoughts: Despite what others have said. Tritton phone support has treated me very well the 2 times I've called. Support reps are US based.

My broken set is being replaced at shipping cost only. They are replacing it with the NEW model (which will be available for purchase on the 15th of February).

So if you can wait to buy a headset and your considering this... WAIT until February 15th, when the new model is out before you make a decision.

Decent Headset

Pros: Comfortable. Fit nice. Good sound quality. A bunch of options and things to play around with.

Cons: Control box is a little irritating if you're tall, it just dangles at my side all the time. It gets caught on the desk or the chair. Also all the wheels on it are kind of irritating, if you go to pick up the control box and you accidentally tip one of the settings you can blow your ears out.

Other Thoughts: It's a decent headset. It replaced my old one that only worked on one side. I like it but I've also got a really good surround sound system and there is no way to switch between your speakers and your headset without unplugging the headset.
