5 out of 5 eggsWorked for what it was meant for

Pros: Great donor controller for a custom unit. Circuit board is top quality with easy to follow traces. Hacked mine into a custom FoF controller.

Cons: Didn't come pre-hacked.

Other Thoughts: If you want to make a custom controller with uses purely digital controls, this is PERFECT. The signals are strong, and the traces are easily hacked (The contact pads are actually NOT epoxy coated, so you can solder directly to the pads - a bonus I wasn't expecting), and the price is perfect. Plus the controller shell makes a pretty awesome - if geeky - picture frame when you're done.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Fantastic

Pros: Price! Quality! User friendly (aka idiot proof)!

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: These things are #%&*ing AWESOME for the price! In fact, they'd be great even if they were more expensive. (not a suggestion though) Very high quality, plug and play. Doesn't get any simpler or better than that! Turbo feature is a super cool and easy to program bonus!

If all you need is a simple, easy to use controller to play games, than there isn't any need to buy anything more expensive than these, they are GREAT!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, especially for the price.

Pros: I needed some SNES / PSX style controllers that could plug into my entertainment machine for those fun times when friends or family come over and we play the oldies but goldies.

Programmable turbo (hold a button and hit the turbo key to set, hold button and hit clear to unset) and all from the controller, not the software on the machine. These things will work with just about anything. They're lightweight, and not bad on the eyes either, semi transparent red plastic.

Cons: Only downside is the fact that they lack vibration settings and sticks/targetting hats like the newer controllers.

Some people may find them unwieldy due to the less than 8 foot cable length. Then again, for 7 bucks, in this economy?

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive, works well for the kids

Pros: Great for kids hands (what I bought 2 of them for)
Works well, no glitches so far

Cons: It is small for an adult, which they should mention.

Other Thoughts: I bought two for the kids. They fit their hands perfectly. I can use them, but my hands are close together. I have not used them for an extended period of time, so I do not know about comfort, but the kids are comfortable with them.

If you are buying for a small child, I definantly recommend these. If you want something for an adult, or teenager you might want to buy something bigger.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks just fine

Pros: Plenty of buttons, no driver CD needed, worked just fine with Windows 7 x64, very responsive, nice firm button action.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Picked up 2 of these for my kid's computers. They both run emulators and this game controller has run every emulator just fine. Tested with Hyperspin/Mame, ZSNES, Stella, Gens, Dolphin, PJ64, etc, etc. At first I was kind of hesitant because of a couple of the reviews, but then I figured for as cheap as they were and who would be using them, what the heck, I'll give it a go. They are kind of small but not as small as some are complaining about. I have pretty huge hands but I was able to use them myself with no problems. One of the problems I have had with hands like mine is overlapping buttons when I press them, that wasn't an issue for me with these controllers. Haven't tested them with any modern games, but for what I had intended them for, these have been excellent controllers.

3 out of 5 eggsOk, inexpensive.

Pros: Inexpensive, good response. Enough buttons for emulators etc...

Cons: Cheap quality. Doesn't work with alot of modern games.

Other Thoughts: For the price I paid I would buy it again, it works great for retro gaming and SOME of the newer indie titles.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny

Pros: Had this thing forever and all of the buttons still function like it was brand new. That's all I wanted so...

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Other controllers buttons tend to depress and not come back up because of the rubber bumpers ripping. This controller has help strong and I just finished using it today a few hours ago.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Sturdy and price is super low. In windows 7 I plugged this in and in 30 secs was good to go! No cruddy software or taking time to config.

Cons: Its smaller then I expected but for 10 bucks and free shipping I can get over that. Wish it came in diff color then red but all these gripes not enough to deduct an egg.

Other Thoughts: Buttons are a bit stiff but this thing seems well built. I use it to play Dirt3 mainly and works like a charm.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect controller for my sons PC

Pros: Great for older Emulated games PSX SNES SEGA Genesis and the like.

Cons: on the small side. It would of been nice if it had the twin joy sticks like most other modern controllers.

Other Thoughts: I Bought this controller specifically for my six year old son's computer. It is small but I knew that when I ordered it. It fits his small hands well. He's happy with it.
