5 out of 5 eggsBought one, liked it so much I bought another for work

Pros: It's an extremely comfortable mouse. It's a simple shape, but the layout is excellent, the rubber coating is very nice and comfortable. I liked the one I bought for home so much that I bought another one for work. I have 2 years, and 1 1/2 years of use on them respectively, and both still work perfectly.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Haven't used the software, so I can't comment on that.

1 out of 5 eggsDoes not last

Pros: Works amazingly when it works. great price very precise and aesthetically pleasing

Cons: Does not last very long. I've had 2 of these in on year and both died within 3-4 months. Randomly it will skip but not often that you will care right away. But then the mouse wheel will DEFINITELY stop clicking in and will scroll improperly. After that starts all clicks will register weird and mouse will skip more and more over time. unusable after a year. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Other Thoughts: should be recalled.. the scroll wheel is a widely known issue

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse with Glaring Flaws

Pros: The mouse feels great, ergonomically speaking. Button placement is fine and the buttons themselves are appropriately clicky. Love the understated aesthetics of the mouse in general.

The software seems to work alright, though it's pretty limited overall. A bit easier to navigate than Razer's Synapse offering.

Cons: After 18 months of daily use, the rubberized coating has become slimy, making it feel as if I've just eaten a plate of hot wings before sitting down to play a game.

My scroll wheel was also a bit noodly, though it never had registration errors.

Other Thoughts: A great-feeling mouse with some questionable build quality in places. I keep my peripherals pretty clean, so I'm going to blame this one on whatever rubberized coating Steelseries has used to finish the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsGood gaming mouse

Pros: Very nice gaming mouse.
I use it to play csgo and it feels really nice and smooth.
I have tried few other mouse that is pretty well known for pretty series gamers. The steel series rival 300, razor deathadder, logitech g502 and few other mouse but this felt the most comfortable for me.

If you want to improve your gaming precision this is good mouse to use. Highly customizable. Very accurate and moves the way i want it to move.

The reason why i liked this better than other mouse is cause this mouse is more of a claw grip then palm grip.
But not too small for even big handed people can move the mouse freely. Not having to deal with your botton of your palm on the mouse pad giving you more friction.
Nice and light. So far works great.

Cons: I guess only bad thing about the mouse is the extra two buttons on the side? It me killed few times cause it screenshots your gaming screen? Not sure what it did but it gave me a screen lag. But you can easily disable it so its not even really problem.

Other Thoughts: Great gaming mouse. If your series about fps games like csgo that actually takes skills this is a good choice.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Mouse I Ever Had

Pros: First of all the mouse has a great shape, even for a left and right hand. You can customize the buttons including the main left and right click buttons. It has some settings with the DPI and lights as well. I was using a wireless cheap 5$ mouse and I loved it till it discontinued. I am so glad I came across this mouse, this is truly the best mouse I ever had.

Cons: I cant really think of any cons. I tried.

2 out of 5 eggsWould be great if not for the build quality

Pros: This is a great mouse as long as everything is still working.

Cons: After a little less than two years the scroll wheel has started to register upticks while scrolling downwards. A little googling shows this is a common problem with these mice.

Other Thoughts: It is unacceptable that a mouse in this price range has such poor build quality. Save your money and look elsewhere.

2 out of 5 eggsMouse Wheel issues

Pros: One of the best mice I had for a long time for my FPS games with very good accuracy.

Cons: After a year of use the mouse wheel began to fail. It now only detects scrolling up in the games I play. It cannot scroll down without me trying to pull the wheel up while doing so and will go back to only scrolling up.

Other Thoughts: Was seriously my most favorite mouse until this problem happened. I had to make shortcuts for my keyboard to swap weapons in fps games now. Hope newer versions of this mouse does not have the same problem.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent mouse but not for everyone

Pros: Overall, it's a nice mouse with a clean design.

- The aesthetics are simple and minimalist
- The rubberized coating is really nice
- The wheel mouse felt really nice to scroll with
- The way the laser tracks is very smooth. I can't complain about its motion accuracy because it's definitely a high quality laser.

Cons: Unfortunately, I returned it 5 days after buying it.

I want to make note that the issues could be partly my fault (due to my hand size and mouse preferences) but I still feel it was partially defective, as no one else reported similar issues. Either way, I have small hands and I like to rest my wrist on the desk while using my mouse -- as such, my fingers were likely not clicking as far up as they probably expect you to click.

Anyway, here are the issues I faced:
- The left click was too soft, in terms of its tactile feedback. By this I mean I could barely feel that it actually clicked some of the time (even though it had registered as a click) and I hate that feeling because I can't be accurate with a mouse if sometimes the clicks feel too soft
- It didn't register as a click 100% of the time. It was close, but I expect a high-quality mouse to work every time
- The back/forward thumb triggers on the side felt too soft/flimsy and didn't click nicely. Compared to my other mice (see "Other Thoughts"), the buttons on the side just felt disappointing
- The overall shape didn't fit my hand well. Comparing this to the Logitech mice I have gotten accustomed to, it just didn't fit how I like

Other Thoughts: I got the RAW because my existing mouse (the Logitech G500) started double clicking on single clicks, which is known to happen to that mouse as it ages. It was 4.5 years old, so I'll forgive it.

My RAW was probably a bit defective. There's no way it could function like that out of the box otherwise (in my opinion). Either way, I returned it and forked out the extra $30 for the Logitech G502 -- which I've only been using for a few days but I'm liking it more. Personally, it feels really comfortable due to the shape, and the left side having that nice thumb rest indent.

In the end, I'm not going to give it lower than a "3" because I may have just gotten a slightly bad unit, and it's not SteelSeries fault that my hands didn't feel totally comfortable with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: Love the rubberized coating so far.
LED lighting is excellent and customizable.
CPI adjustments are extremeley accurate.
It keeps up with my 144hz monitor extremely well, and setting the CPI really high for 4K is effective.
Smooth gliding action.
Software works well.
Very little liftoff drag, much better than my old mouse.

Cons: I'm not a fan of the mouse cord, I know the "braided nylon" is supposed to be some kind of feature but I find it kind of tacky. Of course this is just a nitpick.

If you want multicolor LEDs you'll have to go elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: I've yet to see the long-term reliability, but hopefully it lasts longer than the 2 short years my very expensive Razer Lachesis lasted.

1 out of 5 eggsMouse wheel button failed after 2 years

Pros: See previous review.

Cons: Mouse wheel button will fail to register 100% of the time at the click point an about 75% of the time past the click point. Apparently this is a known issue judging by other people's reviews. DO NOT ORDER THIS MOUSE, you will regret it.
