5 out of 5 eggswonderful

Pros: a very solid mouse, i bought it for two reasons, i got a laptop and i needed a mouse for it. this mouse feels just like my logitech g500 (which in my own opinion is the best mouse in the world) anyways feels exactly the same. the dpi and pull rate can match the settings im using. its extremely comfortable, and for less than the g500 this is a perfect sub. remember special tactics

Cons: its an optical mouse when the g500 is a laser mouse, but i dont feel any differance between the mice

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Quality materials feels really nice in the hand.
- plug and play newer drivers on the website very easy to install.
- the weight system on it is perfect for people who like a heavier mouse like myself and people who like light ones

Cons: - only complaint is that the default forward button on the left side is a little too far up front for my fingers. The back button is nicely placed but if you have small fingers the forward button might to harder to reach

Other Thoughts: newegg's delivery is top notch. I choice the default 3 day method and it actually came the very next day. A little bit over 24 hours

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent mouse

Pros: Great mouse! One of the first I've bought online but it works really well. The DPI settings and control system is really easy! The weights make it super customizable for any hand. Left and right hand compatible, you'd be hard pressed to find a better feeling mouse.

-Good size
-Very nice quality
-Whitera endorsed, collectable
-Mouse carrying pouch
-Left or right handed
-Lights up, nice rubber texture
-Not a ton of buttons

Cons: -Limited programmable macros
-Not a ton of buttons

Other Thoughts: Great mouse. Surprised it isn't selling like hotcakes. This mouse was available in limited signed qualities last year and only most recently hit the market in the beginning of 2012. A must have for a starcraft fan or just someone that wants a simple and comfortable mouse!

4 out of 5 eggsWorth it

Pros: As a gamer, one of the most important things is fluid and smooth movement, and it definitely has that. Both the left and right clicks are comfortable, responsive, and accurate. Furthermore, I've been able to play Starcraft 2 very comfortably, despite the game requiring intensive micro-management and accuracy. In terms of mouse movement and responsiveness, I have had absolutely no problems at all.
Probably my favorite part about the mouse is the texture of the middle mouse button. Because of the design, I can feel each tick under my finger when I scroll, which feels nice, sounds nice, and allows for much more accuracy when scrolling than typical middle buttons. And this does not impair the maximum scroll speed at all, as one can simply apply more force to scroll further. On top of that, it looks really cool.

Cons: The only problems I have with the mouse are the forward side button, and the middle mouse click. Although this may be because of my personal hand size, I find that for the forward side button, it's very awkward and slow to reach for the forward side button using my thumb. If the two buttons were positioned just slightly back more, I think it would be much easier, or if the shape of the mouse adjusted for them, it would be much more comfortable to use. Currently, I have to lift my hand to use that button, which is somewhat slow and inconvenient. Since my last mouse didn't have any side buttons, though, I don't use the side buttons as much, so this isn't a big deal. The back button is very easy and convenient to reach though, so that's a plus.
With the middle button click, I occasionally have problems with the responsiveness of the mouse.
Other than these two minor problems, this mouse is absolutely amazing. Even though I received it as a part of a promotion, I would still buy it.

Other Thoughts: The TT eSports Saphira Mouse is overall a great mouse. In terms of appearance, the red lights make it look very sleek and cool - there are lights on the left side and the middle mouse button, and the light on the logo goes on and off periodically. The material of the cord even looks and feels nice, and doesn't knot up like most mice cords do.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse compared with Deathadder

Pros: -Adjustable weights

-Comfortable feel for fingertip grip

-Long cord (easily wrapped up if you want to take it somewhere)

-Onboard firmware means all the settings are stored on the mouse instead of on the computer

Once I got used to it (I used to use a Deathadder), the mouse is exceedingly comfortable and very, very accurate. 1000Hz pollrate is nice, though a bit standard in today's market. The glide surfaces on the bottom are huuuuuuge compared to the mouse's size, which makes it quite a bit more friction-free than a Deathadder.

Cons: The driver software needs a ton of improvement. It's still version 1 since the mouse is so new, so hopefully future updates will fix most of the issues. In the meantime, some of my more major issues I listed below. Remember, most of these can be easily fixed, and most likely will be soon.

- It's hard to tell that you can adjust each level of the DPI by dragging the RED BAR, not by typing in a number to the box below. It took me almost two hours of trial-and-error to figure that out.

- The side buttons can't be set to macros, just to some useless commands like "New", "Save", "Open", etc. Pretty much you just use them for back and forward.

- Macros are robust, though a bit limited in their scope, since you can only set delays in increments of 100 ms.

- The overlay that comes up when you switch settings is oversized and over-annoying, especially the back and forward buttons, which I use often. Fortunately, it's just a single process you can kill and block from starting up sa

Other Thoughts: All in all, hardware wise, this mouse is definitely a tangible upgrade from the Razer Deathadder (never thought I'd hear myself say that). The mouse design is ideal for a fingertip grip, it's sensitive and responsive, and hopefully, once the drivers get a few updates, the macro system will be robust enough to be able to use properly. At this early stage in the mouse's life, the only thing holding it back is the driver software, which will hopefully be fixed soon. Good mouse, I recommend it. 4 stars, taking one off for the drivers. Once they get fixed, I might come back and re-review this one.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent tracking

Pros: Perfect tracking for an opitcal mouse
1000Hz Poll Rate
Weights to customize feel
Comfortable in the hand

Cons: The drivers need some work. This mouse just came out, so the configuration util is still version 1. You can not specify keys for the side buttons, but instead are given set commands that almost no one would use, especially a gamer, who this mouse it marketed to.

DPI choices are set at 400/800/1200/3500. Nothing inbetween. I would love to be able to have a choice between 1200 and 3500. Again, my MX1100 gave me an option and it worked well.

More customization with buttons would be nice. Logitech
makes it easy to bind any number of keystrokes or keys to any button. No reason it should be available here.

Other Thoughts: The side buttons really can only be bound to macros, which are easy to setup complicated commands, but simple things like binding the side button to a button on the keyboard or a middle mouse button is near impossible.

The delay rates on the macros are limited to 100ms increments. In order to use drag screen scrolling in Starcraft 2, I'm having to create a macro binding "/" to the button, and adding a delay of 300 to 500ms to the macro. This gets rid of the flashing cursor and jittery scrolling, but also means you have a half a second delay after letting the button go. Its not exactly a good way of doing it.

A simple solution would be to include Middle Button, or Key Assignment as an option for the bindings, just like Logitech does it.
