1 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse - bad support

Pros: great mouse

Cons: No support at all anymore. It seems NZXT has discontinued their mouses. No support at all on their website for new drivers .

Other Thoughts: Do NOT Buy this mouse anymore. The newest drivers are non existent as it's not even on the makers website. In fact the drivers are no where on the internet.

2 out of 5 eggsAvatar mouse has buggy drivers for Windows 7

Pros: When this mouse actually works... it has a high sensitivity combined with a high polling rate making it perfect for gaming. Also, this mouse looks really cool.

Cons: 1) The Windows 7 drivers for this mouse will spontaneously stop working in the middle of a game. At this point you must reinstall the drivers and restart your computer.
2) The Windows 7 drivers never remember any previous DPI settings when the computer is rebooted.
3) The mouse cursor will occasional flicker by as much as 100 pixels without any movement of the mouse. This problem goes away in a matter of seconds.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice.

Pros: The lighting isn't too bright and goes well with a blue led system setup. Looks great with my logitech g110. The buttons are all easy to reach and feel good. DPI is great, you won't really need anything above the max setting. The scroll wheel is not extremely easy to push. It's A LOT less touchy than my old HP mouse. I refused to use the mouse wheel if I could on that one. This is much better.

Cons: The extra buttons are way to easy to push. I know I am going to make a mistake in my first month of ownership with this mouse, but it's not worth docking an egg, seeing as an experienced gamer gets to know his gaming accessories and adapts to them.

Other Thoughts: This mouse is for the less common, SEMI-clawed grip, which is what I have. If your hand fits snugly on this mouse, it will sweat and the side buttons will be difficult to reach. If you have a clawed grip, you will find that you hit the side buttons too much and your fingertips will drag with this slim design on this. The semi-clawed grip is perfect. Buttons are all well within reach and it fits the hand amazingly. If you can relate to this type of grip, this is a good mouse to try.

2 out of 5 eggsDissappointed

Pros: - Sleek Design
- Nice clicks
- macro keys worked well
- Sidebuttons functioned

Cons: Software Issues with Windows 7 completely killed this mouse for me making it completely worthless.

Hadn't however experienced any issues with Double clicks as everyone else seems to.

Other Thoughts: Like others have stated, I would not encourage anyone to purchase this mouse with Vista or Win7. Far too many Software issues and it's not worth the hassle

1 out of 5 eggsDouble-Clicking Nightmare

Pros: - Very stylish.
- A very fast mouse.
- Made for guys with moderately large skinny hands like myself.
- Bind-able buttons fantastic for complex online shooters.

Cons: - The attack of the double-clicking nightmare began apparently much later than most NZXT Avatar owners. Mine began about 2 months of ownership, it was very settle, then increased drastically over time. It is most frustrating when you begin to randomly double click in the middle of gaming. Causing friendly fire, unwanted casting, etc. What makes it worse is NZXT's support team is nonexistent as well as the downloads to even attempt to fix the issue. Their website and forums are so old every single link on the site is either dead or broken, it is literally impossible to even make an account on the forum, and most users on the site including admins haven't logged on in a very long time.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this mouse. Period. You will just end up wasting your money and end up buying another gaming mouse.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The tracking was very good, quick, precise, not many jumps even on my wood print desk (I've had a problem using optical on patterned surfaces before). The buttons fell right where I like them in my hand, and while I wouldn't say my hands are tiny, they're on the small side.

Cons: Ghost clicks killed this mouse for me. It worked absolutely wonderfully for about two months, then I started getting double and triple clicks, from both left and right mouse buttons. After some research, I found that this was not a fluke problem and was a manufacturing issue that most "gaming" mice don't have.

At the price I paid, even on sale, this was infuriating. Sure, it still worked fine for most applications, maybe a bit irritating at times, but gaming (as I might point out it's advertised as)? Imagine popping in and out of your iron sights three times playing a FPS. It makes the game nigh unplayable.

Other Thoughts: I've used quite a number of mice in my day, from $5 to $70+ mice. It saddens me to say I used my old 5 dollar mouse just months after buying this one, so I can't recommend it at all until that hardware problem is addressed.

Don't get me wrong, this mouse worked great, felt awesome, seemed reasonably high quality. The price point I got it at felt just right... until it started ghosting on me. If this hardware problem didn't exist, I'd have kept using it. I bought a better known brand for about the same price point and have been happy since.

4 out of 5 eggsA "good" Mouse

Pros: -Glides on the mousepad
-very responsive
-easy to configure for use with driver
-the shape is cool
-inexpensive

Cons: -the paint is fragile on the top(mine is already worn)
-dirt trap
-traps hand sweat
-make sure you wash your hand before you use it, it retains a lot of dirt

Other Thoughts: overall a good mouse, but I hope they redesign it

2 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse while it lasted

Pros: Comfortable, cool looking, great design, long USB cord, and everything else is great

Cons: Breaks easily. After 2 months of usage, it is showing signs of problem. Lights are flickering. Sometimes, it just stops working and I had to unplug and plug USB back in to reset it, thats not good for gaming, sometimes it just stops working during playing game. And finally, it just broke. Laser is not on anymore, I can't click buttons anymore. Feels like I wasted my money on this.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this mouse if you need a reliable mouse
