1 out of 5 eggsBreaks easily

Pros: Decent sound quality

Cons: The left ear piece with microphone is attached by a small piece if plastic. With sparse (only used for webinars) use over a 8 month period, the connector on both sides developed cracks. in month 9 the left ear piece fell off. There isn't enough plastic to super glue it back into place. This connection point was designed to fail.
Additionally the part of the ear piece that touches your ear is convex instead of the standard concave of most earphones. This leads to a strange fit that never seems quite comfortable.

2 out of 5 eggsDifferent problem

Pros: Decent sound, decent mic

Cons: Inline volume control failure. The potentiometer is very poorly made and failed in fairly short order. It is a contact finger failure to the printed resistor. I would call it shoddy design.

Other Thoughts: I actually was ok with these up until the untimely death of the volume control knob. I fought with these daily for a few weeks before tearing the control apart to see what was wrong. (I do not use that control often, but if it would touch anything the left channel would drop out.)

1 out of 5 eggsThey break

Pros: They sounded nice

Cons: I've own them for exactly 1 year this month and one side broke a few weeks ago by the swivel and I just rigged it up with some tape and that held for awhile and now the other side broke.

Other Thoughts: They sound nice and are somewhat comfortable but they break

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Long cord
Adjustable mic boom

Cons: Defective by design
It will break, in multiple places
Hurts ears

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it. Just don't. This should have been taken off the market years ago.

2 out of 5 eggsTight fit, REALLY fragile earpiece

Pros: It plays sounds and captures sounds.

Cons: Wicked fragile earpiece. I bought a refurb and babied it after reading the reviews and then seeing how poor the design was. The earpiece ended up breaking while I was adjusting it ON MY HEAD.

I also couldn't get it to fight lightly on my head; the band is pretty springy so it felt heavy. Not terrible, but a nuisance.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy it. I hope they fired the person that designed the product.

3 out of 5 eggsZ1

Pros: Sound was great, cord length was good. Boom mic worked real well. No problems with any of that. For the money they are a decent buy but treat them easy!

Cons: I owned this set about 8 months and all of a sudden at one point I noticed one of the ear cups was broken off. I treated it relatively well although in times I had to rush away from the computer I one handed them off my head. I'm going to guess this weakened the plastic that connects the ear cup? its just a thin tube plastic connector. One other thing I didn't like and will pay attention to on my next headset purchase is the foam pads on the cups. My ears got irritated due to these. I will definitely buy an ear surrounding set next time!

2 out of 5 eggsWas Great

Pros: Sound was great, fellow racers heard me clear as well.

Cons: Broke after a few weeks of use. I take good care of my stuff too. I should of read more reviews. They bust right the "swivel plastic" area that attaches the ear muffs. Pretty disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap....

Pros: Cheap. Lengthy cord. It has an inline mute toggle for the microphone. Microphone can be adjusted for optimal placement near mouth. Can be folded up during non-use.

Cons: Right ear cup broke after two months. They are uncomfortable to wear after more than 30 minutes. And the sound quality is lacking.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little extra and get something that won't disappoint after 60 days.
