4 out of 5 eggsBest wireless headset for the price

Pros: Only $60, great quality and construction, great audio.

Unless you have $300 for a Astro A50 than this is the way to go, considering how inexpensive it was. This is even better than the old TB true 5.1 headset with 6 speakers an ear I got years ago that fell apart in 3 months. 2 months later and no problems.

Love how the reciever is also a stand.

Cons: People have said it's "really comfortable" and I "barely notice it." Honestly, that's a lie. You do notice it, especially if you're not used to wearing bulky headphones. As I've used it more it's become less of a problem, but it's still there.

Microphone only works if you're using Xbox 360 (I'm a pure PC gamer). Since I have a wired 360 controller it's not a big deal but kind of defeats the purpose of having a wireless headset.

Also, this is only powered by AAA batteries, and if you use it heavily they only last a few days to a week. I use them a few hours a day so I can get about 3 weeks out of it, but it's still really kind of wasteful. Go out and get rechargeable AAA for $10 or get some here when you check out.

Other Thoughts: I don't know why they discontinued this version.

Pros: good sound, some good features

Cons: terrible battery life, snaps and crackles when theres frequency interference.

Other Thoughts: dont buy it. the old wired ones are better and the new ones that fix the interference are good options

3 out of 5 eggsMeh..

Pros: Easy to set up, easy to use.. Battery life is pretty good.. Great sound except for.....

Cons: Lots of popping and cracking.. Especially near the end of battery life.. Sometimes will even disconnect briefly.. Jack for Xbox live chat failed on me.. Have to hold wire a certain way with rubber band in order to work right..

Other Thoughts: Go figure all this happens RIGHT after the warranty period.. Probably should have just went with the X42s but I will be SOON upgrading to the Tritton Warheads..

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Sound is clear for the most part, if you are five feet from the transmitter. Works great for movies if, and only if, you are within the aforementioned five feet and directly in front of the xmitter.

Cons: Snap, crackle, pop. These are the rice krispies of headphones. Turtle Beach says 20' radius. I can get about eight feet from the xmitter clearly and that is only DIRECTLY line of sight. Don't even think of going into an adjoining room while watching a movie. It won't happen. SO, so, annoying. My opinion...do not buy.

Other Thoughts: I bought these primarily to listen to movies while my wife sleeps. They were significantly the cheapest option that I could find for this. Forget it. Maybe they work great for game playing. It does say for gaming in the description, but I would avoid like the plague if you want these for anything else.

4 out of 5 eggsLike New

Pros: It provides INSTANT surround sound and clear voice. Great when gaming at night when folks are sleeping. REALLY LOUD and CLEAR!

Cons: Need to get some rechargeable batteries. AAA batteries will last about 2 weeks at moderate game play.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking very well for me!

Pros: Great so far!
Came will all necessary cables and I had the xBox module for the the digital audio port on hand.

Cons: They will use up the AAA batteries, so just buy a 6 pack of rechargables and let it go at that. Not really a "con", but more of a matter of fact that you should expect.
