5 out of 5 eggsStill standing the test of time..

Pros: Seriously this thing still runs flawlessly!! I'm just now considering a mouse upgrade.. only because its been so long I would like to try something new. Loved the many lighting options this mouse has, high dpi, huge profile listing and the nice little display area... maybe I won't upgrade :-)

Cons: NONE... except for the fact the cord is stiff, and always has been it even has its original fold marks still.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, minor durability issues with extended use.

Pros: Ordered this in 2011, still using it to this day. Seen some complaints about the software, but overall for a veteran gamer (not professional gaming) there's countless uses for for profile customization. I personally took full advantage of the macro capability and on-the-fly profile switching. Cord is of decent length, granted its not going to reach across the room. No issues with sensor accuracy after 3 years set to maximum DPI (as long as you don't have a habit of constantly raising one side of the mouse off surface.) For the most part tracks well even on nonstandard surfaces. Weight being adjustable is another perk, though personally I use it with no weights installed.

Cons: There's a few, all being minor in my case so still giving a rating of 4.
1. After about 1 1/2 to 2 years starting having power cutout issues resulting from braids around the base of the cable kinking and gradually pulling the internal wires loose. This also being in tandem with main button response problems due to collected debris inside the casing. Took some effort to resolve (involving disassembling, and reconnecting the wires, and removal of debris) but anyone with some electronic/wiring repair experience can do this, given they have some patience.

2. As previously stated by another owner the perforated plating around the LED display does have a degrading reaction with skin over time, being strictly a cosmetic issue only.

3. LED burnout, eventually if you stick to one profile/LED design for the majority of your use there will be visible dimming/burnout of the LED display. Solution: cycle/change your LED display settings about every 1-3 months to preserve the life of the LEDs.

Other Thoughts: Considering I'm still using it 3+ years later, I don't regret this purchase and would recommend this mouse to other nonprofessional gamers as a cost efficient programmable mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsDied immediately after warranty

Pros: Great feel, on the fly dpi adjustment, weight adjustment

Cons: I'm a very casual gamer, once every week or two, but I still like to have nice things to play the games with. This died almost immediately after the warranty expired. It almost seems like planned obsolescence. I would expect a mouse like this to last much longer.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: The left and right buttons still work fairly well.
Great value for the price.
It's still alive 3 years later.

Cons: The scroll wheel is double clicking since about 6 months ago. I had the previous version, and it also suffers from having a not so durable scroll wheel click.

The paint on the metal grate peeled off about a year ago, it's actually starting to rust now.

Other Thoughts: I don't game, I use this mouse for Revit work. It's pretty comfortable, but the double clicking scroll wheel is killing me (It's the pan shortcut for Revit). I'll probably buy the newer version of this mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsNice while it lasted

Pros: Good feel in the hand, nice weight to it (adjustable as well.) Doesn't look cheap. Pretty high DPI.

Cons: Left mouse button broke after about a year and a half of casual use. Have filled out a support claim with Cooler Master, but I'm not optimistic.
As another user mentioned, the perforated part around the LCD display definitely reacts with the chemistry of the hand. Luckily I have not had a skin reaction, but the piece itself looks terrible (this is not the typical finger crud found on mice/keyboards/gamepads etc.)

Other Thoughts: Worked well while it lasted. It's not acceptable for a high end mouse to fail before two years of non-abusive work.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologize for the trouble. Please contact us via the Live Chat link below so we can get the mouse replaced under warranty coverage given the left button failure.

Respectfully,

CMUSA Customer Support.

3 out of 5 eggsDidn't last very long for a mouse.

Pros: Has 5,000 DPI sensitivity.
Fits well in hand, comfortable.
Weights to be able to make mouse lighter or heavier.
Durable, long cord for mouse.
Adjustable DPI quick sensitivity change buttons.

Cons: About 2 months in, my middle scroller could no longer click in or would be buggy. Sometimes it wouldn't click in and other times when it did work, it'd overwork. I use it to open up new tabs in browsers as well as to close them. So sometimes it wouldn't close the tab after 5 click, then it'd suddenly close 3 all with one click.

After about 4-6 months I'd say, my right mouse button has finally given way. Not sure how long it is supposed to last, but mine has given up!

Other Thoughts: Not worth your money. I got this mouse for free with a cooler master case I bought. I used it because it was new and now I am going back to my used, unbroken, Logitech MX518 that I have already used for twice the lifespan of this mouse.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsprimo line?

Pros: good heavy feel. adjustable weights. tons of scaleable dpi. very customizeable via software. software runs solid. good ui. lots of nice colors and options.

Cons: durability.starts to feel real cheap. clicking isnt solid. paint is peeling off. most of the buttons you cant access on the fly. only 2 of them are easily accessible. which are the quick scrolls. pretty much a waste of 70xx.

Other Thoughts: wouldnt recommend this.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsgood looking

Pros: Love the LED color. Looks good in the dark. the little monitor on the middle looks pretty. I use this to play mw3 for quickscoping and had a problem.

Cons: Side button is little bit too high but that's not a big deal. I got used to it now..

Other Thoughts: Nothing

2 out of 5 eggsdieing after 6 months

Pros: fits my hand

Cons: started dieing after 6 months

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the sentinel mouse. Can you clarify more on how the mouse is dying? Have you tried re-installing the firmware to see if it's the software issue? If the mouse if found to be defective, under warranty, we can get this replaced by doing an eRMA, link below for your reference. For further questions, please contact us on live chat. All links are provided below for your reference.

5 out of 5 eggsNeckername

Pros: -Great sensitivity
-Thumb buttons (useful for grenades, and vent/TS commands)
-Responsive clicking (I have never missed a beat
-Durable, this thing will last through the slamming on the desk
-Change DPI without opening a program
-Customizable DPI scaling (both x and y axes)
-Multiple customizable presets
-Management program is light on resources, easy to use, and doesn't run in background.
-OLED LCD displays your current DPI and a custom image, no need to minimize!

Cons: -Grip is really designed for right handed people only, not really a con for me but most definitely for others.

Other Thoughts: This thing lasted 3 years of slamming and pounding and never missed a beat until one day I really got in a rage and broke it. It still works, but the grip is messed up and it is taped together now.

Really can't wait for the the Sentinel Advance II, if it isn't released soon I will have to go back to my second choice of replacements, the Naga Hex.
