Question 1

Is this mouse made for right hand use or left hand use? (I know it says right hand under specifications, but the picture seems to look as if it were for lefties).

I questioned the same thing.  But it is in fact made for right handed folks.  That little grove you see on the right side is to rest the ring finger on.  Makes it real comfortable.

can i bind the two buttons on the left side with my Keyboard?

What exactly do you mean by bind it with your keyboard? You mean to make it function as if it were a button on your keyboard? In games you can bind the two buttons as separate actions. For example I'll bind the back click as a crouch toggle and the front click as a reload. Not sure if that's what you're asking.

No.  The buttons on this mouse are not programmable.  You'd need to get the CM Storm Spawn for that function.

Question 4

How heavy is this mouse?

It's light, not so light that it feels cheap or flimsy, but it's not heavy. I don't have an exact weight. Since it's weird and has no batteries it feels light to me compared to battery-filled wireless mice. Hope that helps.

Question 5

Does this mouse have any kind of LED light or visual indicator as to what DPI setting it is currently set at?

Nope. It's a pretty basic mouse. You plug it in and that's it. The only LEDs are for the optical sensor and there's no included software.

I've never really had much trouble as it's usually obvious to me if I want the mouse to move faster or slower.

You can click up or down twice and the DPI will be max-ed/min-ed and then adjust from there. There's only 3 settings so Up-Up-Down will get you to the middle setting if you really wanted to get it.

Is this mouse  both USB & PS/2 compatible?

the mouse is meant for USB ports. Does not come with a PS/2 adapter.

Question 7

The side buttons are programmable for certain games. I know that for a fact. My question is. What are the side buttons called? I tried sidebutton1/2 but it didn't work.

I think the answer your looking for is the "program names" for the side buttons.  This is usually the "mouse 4" and "mouse 5" buttons.  In gamer play they are often referred to as the "forward" and "back" buttons.  I bring this up because I've seen mouse software starting to refer to them as forward and back buttons even in their programs now.  Cooler Master even calls them that now, such as in the software for their Sentinel II mouse.  You may have to look for either naming convention.

How loud are the mouse clicks? My girlfriend hates how loud mine currently is, but I can't exactly test one bought online.

Pretty average. I wouldn't say they're on the louder side, but they definitely aren't quiet.

Question 9

Does this have near zero acceleration?

I believe acceleration is controlled by the operating system and you can adjust in by going to control panel and selecting mouse. I have it turned off and have not notice any acceleration effects by the mouse. (I run windows 8.1 64bit). I have heard that in OSX, zero acceleration doesn't actually produce zero, but this was a problem during the Lion upgrade. I do not know if they have addressed this issue yet. Hope this helps.

Question 10

Would the current Linux-based operation systems be able to recognize this mouse and install a driver for it? I'm not a gamer. Just want a good accurate mouse for general use.

As far as I know, all of the functions should work straight out of the box for just about any OS. There aren't any additional drivers that need to be downloaded. The mouse identifies itself as a Xornet Gaming Mouse immediately and works exactly as advertised on all of the OSs I've used it with; though I can only personally confirm this with Windows 7, 8.1, OS X 10.8, 10.9, and the latest distro of Ubuntu. Its an excellent mouse!
