5 out of 5 eggsSentinel Awesome

Pros: This thing feels like true quality. The feel of the unit is the best I've ever used for sure.

Buttons were a tad stiff at first but they broke in quickly and its been a real treat to use ever since.

The adjustments really make a difference in tailoring the mouse to work for your hand. The buttons feel great when clicking and using them and the on-board DPI adjustment is great. I'm not sure I could go back to using another mouse, this thing is that good.

Cons: Its huge. I mean really huge. I have pretty big hands and this thing still feels large to me. I suppose I'm just not used to it yet.

But the other features make it so nice to use I'm sure it will just a take a bit and will be fine.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat while it works, but won't work for long.

Pros: * Good Ergonomics for Average/Large Hands
* Nice Design without looking too sci-fi
* LED and Logo options are nice for those who like them
* Great tactile buttons, until they stop working
* Multiple profiles with adjustable DPI for different users or uses.

Cons: * The mouse will go haywire after awhile, but switching the profiles fixes the issue most of the time. If you load up the software and change the LED colors for the malfunctioning profiles it will usually calm itself down. No idea why the LED color would make a difference in mouse performance, but it does.

* Internals of this mouse will not last long. I've had this mouse for five months and under normal use the left click has given out. It rarely registers, and no longer clicks properly. It will either register as if I'm holding it down, or not register at all. I've sent several messages to their support staff and haven't received a single reply.

* Don't expect any help from CM's customer service, or be able to have them do any warranty or service work for you. They haven't even bothered to give me a cookie-cutter reply.

Other Thoughts: If this mouse was built with quality parts I would buy it again for $100 happily. Sadly, it isn't and it will just be a matter of time before it breaks. Given that this is supposed to be CM's best mouse, I can't bring myself to buy another CM gaming peripheral in the near future.

I really loved this mouse, and was even willing to forgive the odd spasms it had, but the fact that it broke after five months and there is no contact from Support means I, and you, should look for another product.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a pretty good mouse

Pros: The left and right click are very tactile, the scroll is very nice, I enjoy on the fly DPI changing, the button placement is nice, and the best part of the mouse is the display, telling you what your DPI is. The size is also nice, I have sort of small hands and it still fits my hands pretty well. The weight compartment is a nice added feature.

Cons: The right sound of the mouse doesn't really have any place for your ring and pinky finger to go. It's kind of annoying but easy to get used to.

Other Thoughts: My first impressions were really great. The LEDs look nice and the mouse looks great. The plastic covering the weights feels cheap; but your not going to be using that all the time.

5 out of 5 eggsStorm Sentinel

Pros: This is a fantastic mouse. Huge range of DPI setting and a great fit.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The one thing you need to watch out for is the size. This mouse is BIG, but if you have big hands this is the mouse for you.

4 out of 5 eggsStorm 1

Pros: Great ergonomics, Good weight(I use all the weights in the bottom for a heavier feel), Changeable DPI on the fly, color change with flash effect, braided cord that is very durable and its oled is really cool also. In all a great mouse. It would have been a 5 star had it lasted a little longer without so much wear on it.

Cons: I have the original Sentinel and its a really great mouse. I used to game a lot however (30+) hours a week for a long time playing FPS', WOW, and all manner of RPG's. The mouse is really showing its wear now, the paint is coming off the grate where the colored light comes through at the top. The Oled screen is barely coming through. I have to keep it on 3800dpi now instead of my usual 2400 and the soft coating on the mouse itself is rubbing off in a few places to reveal an ultra slick plastic beneath. Now take in mind that this is the original and I have used it heavily for over 2 and a half years now. It is a pretty inexpensive mouse now so I'd say I've gotten great use out of the 40 dollars I spent on it. I will be ordering the II when I get paid and we will see how long that lasts in comparison.

Other Thoughts: Good buy for the money, feels great in your hands. Its not some crazy fancy stupid looking Razer and its not an expensive(yet awesome for the most part and I am not downing them in any way as I use a lot of their products) Logitech. It is however a good mouse that you should get a solid few years out of and a lot of enjoyment. I don't play on the PC nearly as much now, maybe 2-6 hours a week if I am lucky so this next one should last a lot longer.

5 out of 5 eggsFeature Packed!

Pros: OLED Display, Ergonomic & Large Shape, Highly customizable, Excellent Laser Sensor.

Cons: All the buttons are assignable, but only 2 near your thumb are usable without looking. Software can be overwhelming.

Other Thoughts: This mouse is a great value. It's large and nicely shaped. Big right hands will rest comfortably. The weight is customizable along with the LED color. The USB cable is long and braided. The standout feature though is the OLED display, and its very convenient. I thought it was just a gimmick at first, but its nice to see the exact DPI on the fly plus you can upload a custom logo. Neat! There's lots of customizable settings in the software, and the onboard memory can store 5 profiles with 4 DPI settings each, so you'll have plenty of options. The laser sensor is excellent, and used on other highly rated mice. At 8200 DPI its ridiculously accurate on a variety of surfaces, and has a tiny lift off distance. For the price after rebate its really hard to beat this mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Wide range of LED colors
Customizable DPI (200-8200)
Amazing senor
Just the right amount of buttons for me

Cons: Left button died after 7 months of usage
Color on mouse faded easily where I put pressure

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately my mouse died out of the blue. I started to notice that my left button was acting odd 2 days ago and it stopped working while I was in the middle of gaming. Despite what I love about this mouse I may not buy one again because I can't get an RMA on either Newegg or the Cooler Master's website. I've had my eyes on some other mice anyways. This mouse had a good run although its life was a lot shorter then I would expect from a gaming mouse.

All in all, I loved this mouse when I had it and I am sure anyone who buys this product will love it too.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a very durable mouse.

Pros: I really liked all the feature and software it came with.

Cons: The right click button stopped working after less than a month of using this mouse. It wouldn't even make a clicking noise, it just flat out broke.

Other Thoughts: I've gamed with my logitech g5 for over 4 years now and it still works, though it's a bit crusty. This mouse should have lasted me at least 6 months, not less than 1.

3 out of 5 eggsPrograms not great

Pros: comfortable, awesome led functions, floats across a mouse pad like butter on a frying pan.

Cons: The driver and programs are awkward, installing the driver and software from the cmstorm site ended up giving me a dead mouse after trying to update it, I followed the instructions on the site and deleted the drivers, nothing happened, after messing around with it for over an hour I got it to work again. The cmstorm program oddly slows down the mouse, you then have to tinker with the os sensitivity within the program to get it to work and even then it doesn't feel natural lik it does when you just plug in the mouse without the drivers installed.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a mouse with an led to match your setup this is the one. Its a great mouse if you look past the program and the confusion it can cause.
