Play to win with the Mad Catz R.A.T. 7. Uncompromising, unparalleled, and unmatched, the R.A.T. 7 helps you play like the pros, combining state-of-the-art technology with a jaw-dropping array of customizable features to produce the next step in the evolution of the mouse.
How do you hunt? Whether you 'palm' the mouse or 'claw' it, the Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 can quickly and easily adapt by adjusting in length to suit your hand size and grip style. In addition, the Thumb Panel moves forwards, backwards, and even pivots outwards to provide a comfortable platform from which all thumb buttons are easily accessible.
Strong yet nimble, the solid metal frame forms the core of the Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 for enhanced rigidity.
The Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 Gaming Mouse's new-generation 'twin-eye' laser sensor reads each axis separately and tracks up to a stunning six meters per second with pinpoint accuracy. Pro gamers who prefer low sensitivity with high movement speed will always experience correct tracking and precision.
Like it light or heavy? Maybe you want to change the weight to suit your game? It doesn't matter, the Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 has you covered. Add or subtract up to five 6-gram weights in an instant to obtain the perfect weight for a perfect feel. And when not in use, the weights can be safely stored in the supplied weight storage container.
Hit your target the first time every time. Use the included Mad Catz software to set your desired Precision Aim speed (mouse sensitivity), then hold down the Precision Aim button to slow down mouse movement to a level that works best for you. You can even use the software to assign programmable features to the Precision Aim button, and then use it to execute keyboard commands like macros and key bindings--a deadly weapon that will hit your enemy exactly where it hurts the most.
With the included programming software, you can create an unlimited number of profiles. For example, create a unique profile for each game or character, or for different builds (sniper, tank, healer, and more). Within each profile, you can customize your DPI settings, set Precision Aim sensitivity, create powerful macros and set key bindings. Each profile allows for 18 user-definable commands via six programmable buttons over three modes.
Toggle between three individual Mad Catz R.A.T. modes at the touch of a button. Change sensitivity or programmable button actions in an instant and gain immediate access to a mind-boggling 18 commands!
Combine the programmable buttons with standard left and right mouse buttons and it all adds up to eight buttons with which you can punish your competition. Assign your choice of key gaming actions to programmable buttons to create your own custom profiles.
Four user-definable DPI settings range from 25 to 6400 and the DPI button lets you easily cycle through your custom settings.

Pros: It is a very firm, durable, and amazing mouse. I have a big hand, so the adjustable parts is phenomenal. I love this mouse. Its very comfortable. Also the replaceable parts are easy to change. This is the best mouse I've had so far!! I would recommend this mouse to anyone who wants to spend the money and plays or is on the computer a lot.
Cons: It wasn't free, also it can't make me dinner :(

Better for my needs.
Pros: Just a great set of different customizability for all shapes and hand seizes and a bunch of wonderful features.
Cons: little pricey... 100$
Other Thoughts: I love the customizability! I tried so many other mouses from just about every brand: Razer, Logitech, Sensei, ect... and this one just provides the best comfort and customizability, that I so craved. 100$ is a lot to pay, but I think it was worth it....

Premium tool for gaming fanatics
Pros: The adjustable length is great. From wrist to tip of my middle finger my hand measures 7 1/2". Finding a mouse that is not heavy but also has a comfortable rest position is nearly impossible for me. This mouse is the first solution I've found for my not so average physiology.
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Other Thoughts: If you're used to finger-tip controlling tiny mice this one will take some getting used to. Find some container dedicated to keeping the extra parts right after you get it.
