4 out of 5 eggsExtended Owner

Pros: Large, hard surface that tracks extremely well. Very Durable, i've had this pad (as indicated) for well over a year. I build this when i built my first gaming rig, i had that for 5 years and have my new machine going on 1 year. still no nicks, breaks, or abrasions on the surface. Mint Condition really

Cons: Large size. While it is a pro it is a con as well. if you have a limited desk size or you like your mouse and keyboard somewhat close to each other like i do, you're busy trying to fgure out where to put the extra 6 inches of mouse pad surface. Usually under my keyboard since my sensitivity is high enough to not need that much room.

Other Thoughts: Other people may complain about it not making a difference unless your sensitivity is dialed in, true the mouse pad doesn't help that. Its purpose is to provide an accurate tracking surface while providing an ultra smooth surface to glide a mouse on, which this mouse pad does nicely. What ever your settings are you can rely on this mouse pad to make sure your mouse doesnt get confused and jump pixels (like i have seen mine do in the past)... Keep it clean, so much as a grain of salt will feel like a speed bump in the road. Clorox wipe will be fine, used them on this for years, no adverse affects. Good luck finding them now as Newegg has discontinued them, worth looking for though.

3 out of 5 eggsI guess it's good?

Pros: Good size, good shape, good tracking

Cons: The marketing gimmicks definitely jack up the price. I mean, who really needs a padded carrying case for their mousepad? Likewise, what's the point of having a mousepad "Certificate of Authenticity"? If the mousepad were offered alone, it'd likely be half the price.

Other Thoughts: It's definitely a niche item, mainly for those with disposable income or big egos attached to their machines.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Excellent response times.
Smooth surface.

Cons: Doesn't have a hard surface-back.

Other Thoughts: I bought this thinking it would have a hard-back surface much like the Razer Pro mouse pad. It doesn't, but don't let that stop you. It's very durable and smooth. My Cooler Master Sentinel mouse glides over it and my neighbor is sick of hearing me yell "BOOM! HEADSHOT!"

4 out of 5 eggsHUGE MOUSEPAD

Pros: All in all working well with the Razer Deathadder.

Cons: Material feels very cheap; unbelievably large mat it could have been scaled down a bit. I use maybe 2/3 of the space.

Other Thoughts: Overpriced ?

5 out of 5 eggsQuality

Pros: Whoever says buying a forty dollar mouse pad is ridiculous obviously hasn't tried this thing out. This mouse pad is crazy big and crazy awesome! My mouse glides over it so smoothly and makes my games feel so much better! Definitely worth the money (got it in a combo deal so was even better). I ordered the Razer Lachesis with this and couldn't be more pleased!

Cons: it's HUGE! I wasn't expecting it to be THIS BIG. Not really a con and it doesn't bother me one bit just buyers keep this in mind, it's more than half the size of my keyboard!

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the money, but buy it in a combo deal! The carrying case has actually come in very handy with it too!

5 out of 5 eggsbest pad IMO

Pros: tracks very well, durable and well built, very good surface.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: ok so I wrote a review on this before saying this pad was good but to slippery but Ive been testing different sensitivities and pads over the last month or so and found out my sensitivity was the true issue that was bothering me, once I found my right sensitivity I gave this pad another try along with other pads and this one came out best. but no matter what anyone sais the best mousepad will always be whatever you prefer so my only advice is before you choose a mousepad make sure you have your sensitivity locked down or else it may result in a wrong impression of the pad. i feel that this is the best pad for the most mousefeel and tracking.Ive always liked hard surface pads over cloth so this is definitely the best if you prefer hard surfaces over cloth.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Mat

Pros: I bought this after using my desk's wooden surface for years. I gotta say the difference is AMAZING! This, coupled with the G5 gaming mouse from Logitech is a very lethal pair. Not only are my twitch and snap shots EXTREMELY accurate, but the tracking this mat gives is also amazing. It's to the point where every other mat feels sluggish. The bulletproof case (it's not really, just looks like it) the mat comes with is great for travelling, be it for LANs or just bringing it to the library or something, it's extremely portable.

Cons: There's only a couple things that I didn't like, or others might not. First of all, I never thought I'd buy a $55 mouse pad, but then again, I never thought I'd buy a $60 mouse either. Also, it's rather big, which I prefer, but others who are limited on space, might not, mind you, you can just as easily tuck a little bit under your keyboard or that old CRT monitor you're still using to make space.

Other Thoughts: I bought this in the special white edition straight from the Razer site. It still looks white although it could maybe use some cleaning. I wouldn't if I were you though, just because you might damage the "icy" surface. Another thing, it has a weird smell when you first buy it. The smell does wear off after a week or so though. It's similar to "new car smell", but not enjoyable by all.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have this paired with the Razer Mamba and the performance is superb. The speed and tracking are both way better with the mat compared to a basic pad.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Be sure to check the dimensions to make sure it will fit on your desk.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesn't play nice with G9

Pros: Awesome gaming mat, keeps up with my fastest twitch shots. Super accurate and very durable. Enough space on the mat so I can turn down the sensitivity a great deal.

Cons: I bought a g9 to go with this and the mouse arrived christmas eve. The braided cable is starting to come apart where it touches the mat and the textured grip is getting chipped on the bottom right edge... In other words, this thing is hard on mice.

Other Thoughts: I'm more disappointed in the mouse than I am in the pad, really. A mouse this expensive shouldn't be showing signs of wear so early on.
