4 out of 5 eggsBest with a tunable mouse

Pros: Clean design, appealing and multi-sided.

Cons: It's too big. No one needs 1 square foot of mouse pad, it's bumpers on the side make it difficult to slide under things, so it ends up taking up a lot of space on your desk.

The wrist pad isn't big or tall enough to make it ergonomically efficient. It's about half the height of a mouse, making you strain to use it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: It's just great overall, I have gotten a lot better at CS:GO because of this sexy monster.

Cons: If you eat Doritos and it gets on the mouse pad CLEAN IT, if you don't you'll get random registration lag

1 out of 5 eggsDo NOT Buy This Gaming Mat - Doesn't Even Work With My Razor Death Adder - Was Warped/Curved Right Out of Box

Pros: The precision side felt really nice for the first 60 hours of use. A month later, the grain on the padding is so worn down and smoothed out that the mouse laser doesn't even register Any more.

Cons: First off, i am SHOCKED that my Razer Death Adder Gamin Mouse from 2012 (perfect working condition) DOES NOT WORK ON THE "SPEED" SIDE OF THE MOUSE MAT, the lazer only registers on the "precision" side. Ill say that again, my gaming mouse made by RAZER will not work on a RAZER gaming mouse mat, even though my mouse registers on every and anything you can think of, it'll register on carpets, pillows, plastic tops, you name it! but my Razer mouse will not work with my Razer mouse pad. wow. Beyond that, the thing shipped warped, and I mean warped, it looked like a letter "C", it did not lay flat but rather teetered back and forth which caused my mouse to skip drastically. Since i got a discount on this mat, i decided to keep it and tape the corners down (which no body should ever have to do) and use the precision side, which did feel really nice! ... Until the graininess wore down so much over just a month of use that it's now so smooth that now my mouse won't even register on the precision side! So now i literally have NO use for this thing. Last Razer product i ever buy, I guarantee you that.

Other Thoughts: Razer mouse won't work with a Razer mouse pad.. seriously Razer?

4 out of 5 eggsthe fanciest mousepad I've ever owned

Pros: this is the fanciest mousepad I've ever owned, I almost didn't get it but it came as a part of the bundle so I thought it'd be good to use. I love the wrist rest and the hard surface eliminates the chances of accidentally bunching it up under something else, while still looking sleek. I tried both sides but I think I'm sticking with the smooth side just because it feels better when I run the mouse over it... (probably why it's the speed side, I think?)

Cons: its still a pretty pricey mousepad.

Other Thoughts: I'm glad I have it, but not sure I would spend another $50 if it craps out on me... but to be fair, it's pretty high quality and I haven't seen any signs of it threatening to wear out yet.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works very well like it describes

Cons: wanted to use it with the option of using the wrist rest or not but without the pad that has the rest on it the hard mat slides everywhere

3 out of 5 eggsI really did like it

Pros: If you don't know what surface you will get along with, get this. Slick side is slick, and Control is about what you are used to, already.

The Razer Synapse Calibration Tab really does improve things even farther!

Cons: The warranty is only 6 months, and the control surface starts to separate at about a year. Good luck reglueing it *WHILE* keeping it flat …

The Razer Synapse Calibration Tab has to be reset every boot, and most wake-ups from sleeping.

Other Thoughts: Teh included wrist wrest is part of this foam mat that is never given it's own photo: If you don't use the mat, the mouse pad proper will move around on you; Spinning the whole she-bang 180, so your are using it "upside down," only looks funny, but works just fine.

The Slick side wasn't my cup of tea, so I can't tell you a thing about it.

3 out of 5 eggsScratched

Pros: Okay, I'm going to start off with saying I love razer products and was extremely excited to get this mousepad. It was packaged very nicely and it really is a quality mousepad. The fact that you get 2 different surfaces to choose from is great, the wrist pad is very comfortable and also makes it so the pad doesn't slip at all. Starting to use it, it's been great and I've had no complaints.

Cons: Now, with that said, I have had the pad since the end of Dec (It was actually a nightmare to get from razer, they had some terrible problems shipping as well as problems with their customer service, but that's not influencing my rating on the pad and this review).
Its now April, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed in the fact that the pad has gotten scratched pretty badly. I own a razer death adder and thats what I use to game on. I keep good care of the mouse surface and the only thing that touches it is my mouse. Now, the area where my mouse has mostly scratched the surface, my cursor (or crosshair in game) moves pretty well, don't have complaints about that. But when I move my mouse out of that range, the cursor stops moving and and gets stuck and then moves after i move from the slightly scratched part to the pristine surface.
Its just slightly frustrating that if the surface does get scratched at all it almost makes the pad unusable. Its nice that there are two sides to it, but I honestly don't like the control side (actually feel as though the speed side is less slippery and gives you more control). So thats my big big con with the surface. It's a great mouse surface, but now only a few months later, its almost useless despite the fact i'm using a deathadder and take care of the pad. It's a shame because I really do like the surface, I just wish it wouldn't scratch so easily. So just be careful when getting this, knowing that it can scratch easily and that will seriously effect your gaming.
