Pros: Very quite and burns well. Burned several discs with no mistakes.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not needing to plug it in is nice however its difficult to use the 2nd usb on a netbook...

Pros: Durable, light, performs well ....

Used to transfer and install applications and files to a netbook and also backed data to a CDR. Worked as well as a built in drive would have, fast and quiet.

I'm delighted and have recommended it to others.

Cons: No negatives

Other Thoughts: Anyone using a netbook quickly realizes that external drives are required for loading most software or doing backups. You can network to a shared resource, but having a portable external DVD drive will eventually be useful.

This drive fits the bill, with extra utility to spare.
