5 out of 5 eggsWhat a deal..

Pros: Does everything I expected. I didn't want a printer to print everything in the world with, and I rarely print, plus it's hard to beat a price like FREE with a new monitor.

Cons: Did I mention FREE?

Other Thoughts: Newegg rules, I wonder how much longer it is until dinner is ready........

4 out of 5 eggsBasic Printer... Does the Job... A Couple Flaws

Pros: Basic InkJet Printer, low cost, small, relatively fast printing speed

Cons: You definately get what you pay for. This item does NOT come with a USB cable... or a BLACK inkjet cartridge... you only get the 3 color... so you will have to spend more money to get the black when you first get the item.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a cheap basic printer... this is a great choice

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent deal: Nice looking, great performance, great price.

Pros: My HP 5550 died after years of heavy use. So I searched around and took a chance on this. Without question well worth the incredibly low price. It has a very tiny footprint, yet offers very good features. Resolution is excellent for the price, text is super crisp, and it even does a very respectable job printing photos if you use the highest quality settings (it is slow at these settings though). Excellent HP software and support.

Cons: Very few. HP printers tend to be rock solid. This is no exception. Much more durable then other brands. I liked Canon as well, but their move to proprietary smart chips and heads means no 3d party inks, and the ink for the new Canons is phenomenally expensive. D2330 Uses ink more efficiently than previous HP inkjets, but the cartridges hold only hold abt 1/4 of the ink of those on my 5550. the D2330 should have been designed with better input/output. Design only allows you to print about 30 pages reliably at a time (50 if you really want to push it), any more and you run the chance of jams.

Other Thoughts: Cartridges are quite affordable, but have only 5ml of ink. Yes, only 5ml. As previously noted, the printer is very efficient in using ink, but if you do a lot of printing you'll shell out a lot for cartridges. Consider getting refill kits. I got a giant black and the 3 colors for refill bottles, plus refill tools and instruction for very little money. The black refill bottle is 100ml, enough ink for about 20 refills. I'll get about the same number of color refills. If you search the web there are very simple instructions on how to refill these cartridges. Saves a huge amount of money. Allows you to get a great budget printer and run it for practically nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: Cheap, fast, compact. I've had it for 6 months and it's works great especially if you looking for a cheap, compact printer. It's fast for black and white prints.

Cons: It uses up ink fast, but not as fast as some other printers. I wouldn't recommend it for printing photos (it's slow and quality is so-so). Overall the quality of the prints is alright but i only paid $38 bucks for it so you get what you paid for.

Other Thoughts: although there alot of cons the pros definitely outweigh them. And I'd recommend it for any one who just needs to print black and white text.
