Amazing Printer
- Pros: Prints fast, automatically recognized and added by OSX, XP and Vista for me. Prints labels well too. Toner lasted for 3 years. Refill kits only 9USD on e bay.
I bought one, loved it, gf got one, dad got one, mom too. Why don't more people buy these? This thing saved me so much money over the years in HS, college, and now. 5 years and counting with my 2040!
- Cons: Toner refill can be messy, make sure you wear the gloves, otherwise, just buy a new cartridge for cheap.
- Other Thoughts: Watch out if it shows the yellow toner low light, it seems to keep the fuser unit warm. This can waste power, so turn it off if not using it for a while.
AMAZING BUDGET PRINTER!
Most bang for the buck
- Pros: $30 after MIR for a Laser printer is an absolute steal, and if the drum last for over 12,000 as Platypi0007 review suggest, then I may never have to buy ink ever again since I just it for personal uses. Everyone is gonna need or want a personal laser printer one day (such as printing out those MIR forms or your Resume), so you better buy this ASAP before the offer ends!
- Cons: Can't complain when the printer cost $30, and wouldn't either way, the printer works great and the print quality is what would you expect from a laser printer.
- Other Thoughts: You have to buy your own USB cable, fyi.
Doing a great job for me
- Pros: Great price ($45 for new unit) and has been performing flawlessly. At that price it was challenging the costs of cartridge for our inkjet printer. Realized I rarely need color printing, so this has really worked out well, and allows me to print while keeping costs very low. Zero problems with print quality or paper handling after four months of use. We also have it connected to our wireless system so my wife and I can easily share it.
- Cons: None.
