does this printer come with toner, i can't seem to read about it?

yes, it does. 4 cartridges, one for eacy color like every other color laser printer. I believe they are starter cartridges (give you less amount of print out than the standard one).

Yes, but they are starter cartridges.  They will not last as long as the normal sized replacements, or the even larger extended life toner cartridges available from Brother or its distributors, or other non-Brother replacement cartridge vendors.

Yes, it ships with 4 toner cartridges.  However, these are what are called "Starter Cartridges", that means they contain significantly less toner than the standard TN221 cartridges.  How long they will last is purely a function of how heavily you use the printer.

The printer controls (software) have a save toner option.  I recommend you turn this on, unless you are doing commercial work.  Also be aware that unless you select B&W, the printer will use the color cartridges to print.  So when printing letters, etc.  be sure to select B&W printing.

Yes, The printer comes with all 4 toner cartridges, standard yield capacity. You get the black, magenta, cyan and yellow. They come shipped protected inside the machine. When I bought this, there was a deal to add an extra black for an only $20 more, so I did. I'm on my 2nd ream of paper since I started using it and haven't opened the extra cartridge yet. I love that I can go to options and choose to print black only to save color ink. My best printer purchase yet. I would give it 5 stars and I've only had it 3 weeks.

Works, no problems so far. Print quality excellent in color and black & white.Require driver reinstall sometimes ..with wireless. Worth the money. 5 stars. Works with Windows 8.1

It does not have an ethernet port either.
It is only wireless or usb

Yes, it comes with black and CMYK toner cartridges. It doesn't come with an cables except a power cable though. So if you plan on using it directly over ethernet or USB  you'll need cables for those purposes.

Although I am using a separate Brother fax machine as my small biz fax, I did see there was a port for an external line meant to be used in conjunction w/ the fax as with most other HD machines. So the answer would be Yes.

Yes, the MFC-9130CW does allow this hook-up and should provide a pass through like any other set-up. I would imagine the same inbound phone line will be used in your set-up; so if you are faxing out or in, you probably cannot be use the same phone line in conjunction with fax receipt or fax transmission at the same time while using the set-up for communication.
