1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: price was very attractive.

Cons: i bought this printer in jan. 2014 when i saw the superb price even though my old printer was still working quite well. b/c my daughter has one exactly like this one except her color is black. i didn't start to use it until about 4months ago in june 2015 b/c my old printer was close to its end of life span. it's a great experience to use a wireless printer although when i put the printer to the other room (still less than 25 ft away) it stopped working right. it's fine. i can deal with it. i just moved it back to close to my computer. i didn't use it much at all either b/c not much to be printed. starting from the end of september the printer kept on giving me trouble when i needed to print some documents. it kept on giving me the message of "jammed..." when there's nothing jammed EXCEPT something on the left side (inside the printer) was not functioning right. b/c the paper would come out WITHOUT printing anything but had a little crack/broken/ripped off mark on the top left of the paper. i tried calibrate the printer and it seemed fine. whenever i did real document printing the old problem came back. very frustrating. now i can only use it to scan document if i have anything from "in" my emails or search engine...

i started doubting that this might be a refurbished one even though it didn't show as a refurbished? so maybe the price was so amazing?? i cannot say it's good for nothing b/c it still does the job of scanning.

i learned the lesson - if i don't need something "at that point" i should not waste $$ to order it even if it's just a few bucks. b/c when i start using it the warranty time would have passed. it's a waste of $$ and energy - i spent SO MUCH time trying to fix it, no luck ;( the cost of this printer now is almost 7x of what i spent.

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of time and money

Pros: Inexpensive. Good printing quality. Wireless.

Cons: Quality turned ugly after 2 days - white lines over the pictures. Cleaning wasted the rest of cartridges. Price for a set of cartridges is almost equal to price of the printer itself.

Other Thoughts: Attempts to run a calibration print (and asks to scan it then) literally once a day. It is really inconvenient, especially when you need to print something quickly.
My personal conclusion: waste of time and money.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat printer

Pros: Fast, quality printing. Ink cartridges are inexpensive, which means it's cheaper to maintain in the long run.

Cons: Can only use HP branded single use ink cartridges.

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a gift for my parents, they love the wireless aspect of it. They can stick the printer anywhere in the house without worrying about cables sticking out everywhere. It has all the standard features of a multi-purpose printer, plus it can connect to their Galaxy S3s, so my dad can print stuff straight from his phone.

2 out of 5 eggsCan't Load Paper Correctly

Pros: Cheap, fast, wireless

Cons: Not too long after I got it, it started having issues with the paper loading and the plastic piece in back that holds the paper up broke it no time. So I would say that even though I put cheap in the pros it's also a bad part of this printer since it's so cheaply made.

3 out of 5 eggsHas a good look

Pros: Looks good. Good price. Does a decent job printing.
Worked at first try. Has a sleep mode.

Cons: I got the thing set up. Have to say this is about the cheapest made machine I have owned. Very light weight. Made all in China. Noisey when it boots up.

Other Thoughts: Even though it does do a good job of printing and when it prints it is somewhat quiet. But when it scans it sounds like a moaning chain saw. But it does have wireless operation.

3 out of 5 eggsLate Delivery

Pros: Nothing as of yet. Haven't received the product.

Cons: Newegg is using Ontrac delivery. I've read about Ontrac and the overall opinion on the internet is that they are horrible at their job.

My tracking status says it was delivered....to the wrong address. I don't know if Newegg is experimenting with new delivery services or what, but why fix something that ain't broke?

Other Thoughts: I called Ontrac customer support, and they said they would send the driver out to find the package the next day...whatever that means.

5 out of 5 eggsExceeds My Needs

Pros: Direct Print Wifi creates a Standalone wireless print hub..
Connect to wireless LAN router using included software..
Bonjour mDNS enabled + CD and USB cable included..

Cons: Manual Duplex printing.. ink price..
Typical HP adware/malware bundled on CD... I don't want Bing Bar!!! etc..
Save system resources and internet band width by doing a Minimal install of "Basic Device Software" and avoid HP software taking over.. Follow install prompts, uncheck the 6 addons.. add them later if you want
Inability to change Direct Print Wifi default ch setting may lead to wifi interference..

Other Thoughts: HP ePrint world wide wifi wireless printing.. free apps from HP to wirelessly print directly from a smartphone or pad..

One day free shipping.. than again I only live a day away

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Works. Low Price. Fast.

Cons: A little plastic piece was broken from the printer when I got it, but I used some super glue and put it back on. Such is life.

Other Thoughts: I had an HP printer for 9 or 10 years, and I wanted to get another for my simple needs for a low price that was wireless. This was great.

5 out of 5 eggshave several at our company working fine

Pros: cheap
works
wireless

Cons: none that i see

Other Thoughts: We have about 5 of these at work. Most are mounted in oil well logging trucks that go to oil well locations for weeks at a time. They get banged around,Hot and Cold and operated by several different people.
We haven't had one of these fail yet.
I have had one at my desk for a few months and have printed hundreds of documents and scanned a lot. I use use it wireless only.
Can't beat them for $50.
Buy the XL cartridges.
