5 out of 5 eggsUnreal.

Pros: I bought this exact card in 2007. I'm still using it. Yes, the same card. Creative has windows 10 drivers for it. I have a 6 core processor, boat loads of RAM and a nice new shiny graphics card. And then there is this guy, way better than any onboard audio I've ever had.

Cons: After 8 years in service I had to clean off the spider webs.

Other Thoughts: Amazing.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality drivers

Pros: Convenient sizing and pci interface.

Cons: Does Not Work! For some reason, the sound card likes to create a delay in all audio, whether video or audio itself, around every 15-30 seconds. I have contacted Creative, but after 2 weeks now, they have not been able to fix.

4 out of 5 eggsA lot of Fat!!!!

Pros: Price is right!!!!!!!!

Cons: A lot of fat. Creative software insists on installing a lot of useless programs that you my never use. The learning curve is is steep as some of the features are "To much of a good thing"

Other Thoughts: It took me about 30 minuets to get the sound dialed in. Treble and base have to be tweaked by hand to archive quality sound and you have to dig deep into hardware settings to get there.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth it for the Money

Pros: Very nice for the money, great sound. Great upgrade over my Dell E521 onboard audio, windows media player used to lag with onboard audio but not with this card.

Cons: Wish it had some more modes such as Disco/Club mode like the higher end Creative cards have. It really makes a big difference.

3 out of 5 eggsNyeh

Pros: Well, I got it to work, and it boost my mic levels higher then my onboard. People can actually hear me now :)

Cons: Sound quality wasn't much of an improvement. Even though I had onboard, I had High Def Quality. It Sounded just as good as this card. Maybe I have to go with something more powerful.

Other Thoughts: Hot air blows on my card from my 4850... but not the Manufacturer's problem. lol
