For the $, best buy period!
- Pros: Huge upgrade from onboard sound. 24-bit, 7.1 surround, what else can you want from a $35.00 card? To the reviewer who said this card is not good for gaming, I beg to differ. I notice no degrade in performance in F.E.A.R., CoD2, WoW, DooM3 or anything else I throw at it. The highs are crisp and the lows are clear. Great card!

Awesome Card For The Price!!!!
- Pros: Exceptional sound over on board audio, and it's cheap!
Installation was painless.
- Cons: Creative bloatware! The software pack is HUGE.
- Other Thoughts: I tried on board audio with my ASUS M2N board and it never really gave me the sound I wanted - not enough tone feel. I finally gave in and installed the SE and the improvement was very noticeable even with the Windows boot up wave file.
It's not a true gamer card, but for a cheap and exceptional improvement over on board sound this does an excellent job.

Poor Quality drivers
- Pros: Convenient sizing and pci interface.
- Cons: Does Not Work! For some reason, the sound card likes to create a delay in all audio, whether video or audio itself, around every 15-30 seconds. I have contacted Creative, but after 2 weeks now, they have not been able to fix.
Good deal
- Pros: Excellent sound, painless installation.
- Cons: None.
- Other Thoughts: Great buy if you can catch it with free shipping.
Nice little card
- Pros: It works great and is a nice upgrade from typical onboard sound. Cheap!
- Cons: Comes with tons of bloatware on the driver disk
