Pros: Good card for a good price. Been running under XP Media Center Edition - no problems whatsoever. Been working from day one. Much better sound compared to Intel 915G series onboard audio. Watching TV, iTunes, some BF2 - great all around sound for me. Had this since August 2007 - no complaints yet.
Cons: Not that I know of. For basic as listening to music, watching TV and playing games this card is great.
Other Thoughts: Good use for that PCI-Express x1 slot that is always empty.

Cons: optical is behind and not really x-fi
Other Thoughts: if your really cheap go for it, otherwise spend a bit more

Pros: It died after 3 months returning me to the onboard Asus audio which isn't as bad as I thought
Cons: made a mellow piano mp3 sound like a harpsicord
Other Thoughts: I liked the optical connection which my MP audio didn't offer
