Pros: I like Photoshop. It does everything i need it to do ( edit pictures of finished products and post it online to sell it). It's a little tricky to get used to it, but once you get used to it, everything seems easy to edit. Plus, you can't beat the great price of Newegg.
Cons: My dog chewed up my installation CD a couple of weeks after i installed it. Now, i just bought a new laptop, and i want to uninstall it from my PC and install it on my laptop, but i had no CD. I called Adobe customer care, ready to pay a couple of bucks to get only an installation CD (No serial needed), and to my surprise, they don't support Adobe photoshop 10. They told me I had to purchase Adobe 11, and that they did not have any digital download link for me to download from. (Why would i pay for a product again when I JUST BOUGHT IT?????) COMPLETELY ABSURD. I only had it for a couple of weeks, and its outdated! With NO support, no help, and no CD. I couldn't even buy it if i wanted to. Not to mention how rude they were, giving me the "either you buy photoshop 11, or is there anything else we can help you with?" attitude. To all those people who wish to purchase an Adobe product, BEWARE...... you get a good program, but as soon as the next year hits, you are yesterday's dog shi*t. I have since uninstalled Photoshop and purchased CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6. Adobe can keep its products/horrible customer service and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Pros: If you are looking for an above average photo program this is a good one. It is capable of much more then most need for a photo editing program. One of the better recent releases for Elements.

Pros: Easy to use with just a little practice. I use this product at work and have opted to purchase for home use. I have used Photoshop for years as a graphic designer. This is so much simpler - I can teach others how to use it pretty easily as compared to CS and other Photoshop programs. Thanks!
Cons: Not liking having to reset my print options every time.

Pros: Photoshop Elements 10. Seems to be the best and most convenient photo software on the market. Got the best price and rapid free delivery from NewEgg.com
Cons: For what it is, photoshop elements should have more plug ins included with it.

Rating: 4/5Worth the upgrade for me, but just barely
Pros: Interface "better behaved" under Windows 7 64-bit than PS:E v5, which was the previous version I had. Some new features (since v5) that I'm looking forward to experimenting with (such as the content-aware mode for the spot healing brush). I like the ability to download and install the full program for a 30-day trail before buying.
Cons: Each new version is bigger and more bloated that the one before. I like the document tabs above the editing window (new since v5), but they can't be rearranged. I wish Adobe would bring back the New/Open/Save/Save As icons below the Menu bar; there's plenty of room to insert them to the left of the toolbar for the active tool.
Other Thoughts: I've used PSE v2, 3, 5 and now 10. Versions 2 and 5 were bundled with hardware I bought, so I've only purchased versions 3 and 10, both when available at substantial discounts (< $50). I use Photoshop Elements almost entirely for digital photography, and occasionally for document manipulation, but I use it less and less since I've moved to Photoshop Lightroom for processing digital photographs. PSE v5 had everything I needed, but its window is poorly behaved under Windows 7 64-bit, which is an annoyance when you're toggling among multiple apps. So when Newegg offered PSE 10 for $45, I took the plunge. Based on the folder structure I use for filing my images, I've never seen the need for Organizer, so I just don't use it.

Rating: 3/5Middle of the road, IMO
Pros: While I've enjoyed Elements' simplicity (been using it since the original elements) I can't say I'd recommend this over the previous two versions.
It does have the basic tools you'll need to edit your images, whether you shoot your family, or more complex needs, short of commercial editing.
If you want a brand new product, this is likely the easiest place to get it.
However, it forces you to install Adobe Air, which, in my opinion is unnecessary bloatware, and doesn't help make editing any more efficient.
Cons: Not as intuitive as the previous versions of PS:E.
There were a number of actions I had to google, even though I had been able to use them in the previous versions of Elements. Quite the bummer.
It's a little bigger, adding few real improvements to editing.
They've added some more automatic features, as well as sharing widgets so that it's easier to upload images to facebook, flickr, or youtube, but then again Picasa has had that for years, and I don't think it's worth an upgrade if you have any of the semi recent previous versions (4-9).
I have never needed to use the Elements Organizer, as I prefer ACDSee or Picasa as quicker, more efficient choices for sorting images. So consider this review in absence of heavy Elements organizer use.
Other Thoughts: Overall, it's a decent value for what you get, but if you have a choice, I'd recommend one of the older versions (6-8.0) and save a little dough.
Although for Mac OS X PSE:7 is not available.
There are also many free alternatives to try, chief among them being Picasa, as well as Gimp or Gimpshop for your photo editing needs, I'd highly suggest trying those before spending your hard earned dough on PS:E.

Rating: 5/5Its all I need.
Pros: Great photo editing software. Does what the older Photoshops did in a better/faster method. Didn't take long for me to adjust to the different screen arrangement and buttons. Good price and it does just what I need to do. I don't need the big Adobe CS5 package.
Cons: Had to purchase this because Adobe won't allow the older Photoshops to work with over 500gig hard drives.
