- Pros: Xp Pro Partitioned my SATA 160 Gig hard drive and installed without incident. This operating system at this price is a must have.
- Cons: None, Wont be getting Vista anytime soon.
- Other Thoughts: Remember, that Windows life-cycle policy for Windows XP Professional (system builder) is January 31, 2009

- Other Thoughts: if you're looking for windows xp pro this is the thing to get. there is no need in buying the retail version, the only difference between the two would be that this cd does not really come with an installation guide. i did a clean instal so the only thing u do is pop in the cd and make the computer boot from cd. a full version of xp pro for 140 bucks it cant be beat!!!

I'll take it over Vista.
- Pros: It's a good OS, as far as Windows goes. Does what I need it to do.
- Cons: Still need a floppy if you want to install to a RAID array. I was installing this on my new build, which lacks a floppy drive, and I forgot about that and had to run to [big box retailer] to grab a floppy drive that I'll only ever use for the installation. I don't think it's beyond Microsoft's capacity to change that.
No CD key
- Pros: Very good os, a bit expensive.
- Cons: did not come with a cd key. it said on the package that the key would be on the computer case, but i built my own and there was not cd key.
- Other Thoughts: i probably just got a lemon, but i couldn't get a key from newegg or microsoft. but, Newegg rules!!
- Pros: It's Windowns XP, DUH... DOWN WITH APPLE!!!! :)
