4 out of 5 eggs3 pack!

Pros: This is to the person who said they got this at Micro Center for $139.99. What you got is a single machine builder pack, this is a 3 pack. I work there in the KC store, so I am familiar with the pricing on all the various MSW versions and system builder packs.

Cons: I never had an issue with Vista either, so this is not much of a step up.

Other Thoughts: Not happy that with each iteration of windows, I keep losing games. Seems like I have to keep a machine around with each version going back to XP(a few Win 98 games too) just to be able to play old games that still make me chuckle.

5 out of 5 eggsOver priced

Pros: Excellent for what ever I need it for. Games, media, internet, etc..

Cons: The price Newegg asks for it is way too expensive! I got this for $139.99 at Micro center. Newegg.com is good on prices for things like, fans, and PSUs. Operating systems. They should come down on the price. Especially when Windows 8 is coming pretty soon!

3 out of 5 eggsIt's Windows 7

Pros: Newegg shipped quickly. Thank you Newegg. 3 eggs given because it's Windows. 5 eggs for Newegg.

Cons: It's Windows 7, basically Vista with a few problems fixed.

Other Thoughts: I wish there was a reasonable alternative to Microsoft Windows. I am so tired of dealing with Microsoft's sub-par operating systems.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's MonopolySoft and Thus a "Force Feed" to us all.
winerz 7 makes things almost as good as XP and a LOT better than the joke we all know as Vista.
Like NT it is still Bloated and in the US we can not get the nice trim ones from the European market.
My Problem is I remember Bill Gates saying, as he launched win 95, the internet is a passing fancy and will never be a big thing. and Now forces his Internet EX will upon us.

Cons: As a Business I would have preferred the Enterprise edition but somehow that seems stuck in "try it free" mode. I have 10 computers to load and it was Pro or NO.
The human interface in windows 98 was SOOO much nicer.
All this computer gobbling graphics and "I know better than you" garbage is demeaning.

Other Thoughts: I am assuming that MonopolySoft is joking about the fact that you buy an OS and then if you "visualize" it you are a criminal. Maybe if they unloaded all the BLOATWARE, Internet Explorer, CD burner, Disk defragger etc. etc. and gave us a nice slim OS we would not need to run it in a Virtual window in a REAL 64 bit OS like LINUX.
