In true Criterion Games fashion, your friends are at the heart of your experience. Key Features

  • Nonstop Multiplayer: No menus, no lobbies and no restrictions...just intense competition. Race, battle, crash and explore at your own pace with endless distractions in gameplay throughout the open world. There are team games, massive variety, persistent scoring, deep ranking and endless rewards and upgrades.
  • It's Online Driving as You've Never Seen It: Pick a car, hook up with your friends and jump into a nonstop playlist of competitive events. Influence the playlist by voting with your car. Jostle for position on the starting line. Cross the finish line and turn around to take out oncoming rivals.
  • Beat Your Friends: Intense competition is at the heart of Most Wanted. Autolog records everything you do in the game, broadcasting a feed of your most newsworthy scores, speeds and times to your friends. That means as you drive the city – hitting jumps, racing and blasting through speed cameras – you'll see your friends' records. Whatever you do, there's someone to beat.
  • Urban Handling: Most Wanted sees the handling evolved to suit the open city location and to deliver a deeper, more physical feel that showcases the personalities of the awesome licensed cars. Experience insane speeds, spectacular crashes, aggressive driving and huge drifts.

4 out of 5 eggsCars handle AWESOME!

Pros: Gameplay is fabulous. Cars handle better than any game I've ever played. I absolutely hated Dirt 3's car handling and Burnout Paradise's weird car dynamics with screwy handling characteristics. But this game is great for giving a real world feel to the driving/racing experience. There's no surprises with handling input. The car does what you input to the controls. I use keyboard and rather like it. Never used gamepad so can't say about that. They must be good though as some friends I have are absolute killer drivers. I have an I7 (930) running on 32 bit win 7 ult. with 6 gigs ram (but only 2.99 gigs recognized by 32 bit OS) with a GTX 260 and the game runs amazingly well. I think the car handling dynamics won't get better with an upgraded GPU (planning on a GTX 770 pretty soon) but probably just better graphics with more modern card. I tried the game out on my brother's 8 core AMD with dual 7970s running in Crossfire and it was prettier but I couldn't really tell any difference in how the car handled or responded. I love this game. I wish there was more off road, Really doesn't have any.

Cons: This is huge and kept me from playing for a couple months....Autolog is the connection to the Muliplayer servers and there is a huge problem with disconnects in the middle of playing an event list with other players. Very, Very frustrating. Went through 3 months of tech support at EA all the way to the top STUDIO support and also had internet service provider out to the house a couple times to diagnos the problem which EA kept saying was on my end and that it was the provider that kept disconnecting me from Autolog in the middle of gameplay. I opened ports on my own router, gave provider ports or, now I forget what their called, but provider opened up special portals (for lack of the proper word) all to no avail. Would get dumped from game after 6 minutes the first few months of owning/playing. Finally I noticed that the disconnects from Autolog happened exactly when an event was just starting or just ending.....ALWAYS at either time. When I confronted EA about this they basically wanted me to go away and stop bothering them with this problem and offered me a free game of my choice. I took Burnout Paradise. I got the feeling that they always knew they had a problem but would never admit it and offered me the free game with the condition that I never can call them again about this particular problem. A few months later I began playing again and for some unknown reason I have been having better luck with longer periods of Multiplayer. Sometimes I can play an hour or so and then there are still times that I get bumped after 10 minutes. Its a random thing. Seems like Weekends I get bumped more often and with shorter gameplay times. You just get used to it and log back in again. I found that you have better luck getting back on if you completely go offline and then go back online. Somehow resets better. Otherwise you may have to try to connects 20 or 30 times before it lets you back in.

Other Thoughts: If you like racing games and can pick this one up for cheap, I've seen it as low as 10 bucks, do it. Even at the now regular $19.99 its a great deal. As far as racing goes knowing the map and knowing how best to outfit the car for the event is key to being up front. Admittedly I haven't played all the past incarnations like other reviewers so I can't say this is better or worse but this game is a BLAST, period.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome game with the right hardware

Pros: Amazing graphics, sounds are realistic and not recycled. Open world is a major plus. Multiplayer with others across the globe or with friends. Taking out cops is a great stress reliever. No option to change physical appearance of cars. Realistic damage. More than enough cars. Traffic.

Cons: Traffic will sometimes swerve around you, but most of the time right into you. Police chases can become quite long. Vehicle damage does not effect performance. Requires some high end hardware to run graphics at full. EA doesn't do a thing about people using trainers(program to modify users capabilities).

Other Thoughts: If you're noticing sections of the screen stuttering while playing and have an Intel processor, disable Enhanced Speedstep Technology to fix the problem.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Game!

Pros: -Beautiful Graphics
-Great Gameplay
-Great music
-Free roam!!
-LOTS of cars to choose from, they all have individual personalities.

Cons: Lack of physical customization, but only kids that are still stuck playing need for speed underground whine about that.
No story line, but that doesn't matter when you have free roam.
The way you "unlock" cars is silly, and could have been more thought out.

Other Thoughts: This is a wonderful arcade driving game, with great graphics, frustrating cops, and good, fast-paced music. I can't really complain. I play this game on the weekends with friends, and...It's just a lot of fun!

I don't think EA should have re-titled it as "Most Wanted" however. It's nothing like the original Most Wanted, and many people are angry about that, and post reviews with 0 eggs. Boohoo.

Best played with an xbox or ps3 controller, however.

5 out of 5 eggsNFS MW

Pros: It's got a lot of cool cars, good graphics, and was enjoyable

Cons: when you crash the camera goes in slow motion which gets annoying if your a bad driver and crash a lot

Other Thoughts: It is a lot like Burnout Paradise, but it is a better enhanced game than Burnout is

5 out of 5 eggsGive it 25 minutes

Pros: Huge variety of cars, old, new, exotics, track cars, trucks. Driving a Lamborghini Countach I was reminded of the old NFS games.
Very fun, the open world feels enormous, varied and has a lot of things to jump off of, and crash into. Huge adrenaline rush trying to outrun cops through back roads, parks, industrial areas.
Graphics are excellent, getting 45-55 FPS once i turned off ambient occlusion.

Cons: Pop-ups during game can get annoying. I find myself skipping lots of songs, wish you could customize the playlists and I think I heard nickelback. The "easy drive" menu system takes a while to get used too.

Other Thoughts: This game definitely feels different than The last few NFS games. It's MUCH better than "NFS The Run"
You can drive cars by finding them around the city, so what happens is you keep switching cars and you're driving them without any upgrades, so of course they don't respond as good as they would all tuned to perfection like in the other NFS games. My advice is pick a car, beat the races associated with that car and unlock upgrades. When you've beaten the races go drive another car. Overall a very fun arcade type racing game, once you've spent a half hour getting used to it.

5 out of 5 eggsMost Wanted

Pros: Another solid NFS game. Lots of attention paid to detail. I can run it very well on max settings with my GTX 680.

Cons: REVIEWERS, Y U NO POST HELPFUL REVIEWS? Seriously, if it will not help the next person on the page, you might as well not write it.

Other Thoughts: Yes, it is a lot like Burnout, but the multiplayer is a lot more similar to the GTA 4 multiplayer mod (but stuck in cars with no guns).

1 out of 5 eggsMost boring of all NFS titles

Pros: Cool sunlight effects.

Cons: There is almost no action... VERY BORING.

Other Thoughts: I am a huge EA & NFS fan and have bought nearly 10 of their titles. I was anxious for this one to be released, but I am disappointed. I am going to try to sell my copy..
