Rogue Warrior is a story-driven shooter that provides team-based tactical combat set in massive, contiguous levels using Unreal 3 streaming technology. Central to the game's single and multiplayer experience is the idea of a freeform battlefield, where players are given the freedom to choose how to complete a given objective, allowing for creativity and surprises, rather than heavily scripted events and tightly contained spaces traditionally used in this genre.

An advanced AI system allows NPCs to react and fight realistically, see and hear others, and respond as a team. Rogue Warrior offers a new take on the multiplayer experience, with 10 gameplay modes and a system whereby maps are created using tiles that are selected by each team. Rogue Warrior's tiling system allows users to experience over 200 maps in both day and nighttime settings. In addition, the campaign features solo and on-the-fly cooperative play for up to four players, where anyone can join or leave an existing campaign game at any time without having to go to menus or save progress.

In Rogue Warrior, you play Dick Marcinko, leader of an elite SEAL unit trapped behind enemy lines in North Korea on a covert mission to assess the threat posed by North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. When war breaks out between North and South Korea, you must try to lead your team back into South Korea while greatly outnumbered and with no support and limited resupply. Your journey will take you through a variety of never-before-seen environments inside of North Korea, including submarine pens, shipbreaker yards, prison camps, and more.

4 out of 5 eggsAre you kidding me?

Pros: I haven't played it through yet, but I think its a good game. I have an I5, 4 gb ram & nv gts250w/1 gig. Graphics seem to be flawless. Game play is good. And as for all the swearing...What do you expect from a commando! Rogue Warrior should be considered a "sim".

Cons: Language. They could have tuned it down a little. But if you have ever read a Rogue Warrior book... then you know!

1 out of 5 eggsRidiculous

Pros: None- Just to sell this title off you will be lied to.
It was less then 10.00 for a long time and then to jump to 45?
Something is fishy here....
It was cheap because it's a terrible game, do not support this kind of trash.

Cons: It's a complete RIPOFF, too short and over the top ridiculous language.

Other Thoughts: If I could have given it less then 1 egg I would have.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fun, if you get it.

Pros: Great rule set, you lose cover, you die, expose a flank, you die. Get a good grab and stab, you're in hog heaven. Get agressive cover and keep the enemy off balance and it is a blast.

This game really excites those of us familiar with agressive tactics. Arcade folks, this is not for you. Warm up with lighter shooter and work your way up to this, many have gotten frustrated, I am already at the final level.

You pick up anything that has ammo and when you have a choice, you have to think of what's ahead, if the enemy is far ahead and you have the choice of a SAW or shotgun, take the SAW (pencheng) in this case;

Cons: You really have to understand more than just arcade tactics. I spent 23 years in NAVSPECWARCEN, I understand what the game is doing. Graphics aren't great, but the shoot and loot is a blase.

Okay, graphics could be better and there are a few bugs in the code that hinder mobility. I would have liked cover in a few spots, but the code got jumpy.

Other Thoughts: If you're an arcade player like "Call of Doodie" this is not your game. You have to understand cover, positioning and stealth to really have fun with this game. It is not for arcade players. Never mind BUD/S. this game is a challenge of real headwork.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Good

Pros: - Graphics are decent

Cons: - Lots of cussing if you like that but overboard in every sentence
- Hate the knife cinematic combos
- Terrible story line

Other Thoughts: I was expecting something more respectable from Bethesda. I thought it was very unprofessional and un-fun. I will definitely not play this again.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken

Pros: The idea from the description sounded cool...

Cons: Read reviews. Apparently the game description was a complete lie, and it has none of the advertised features.

Unfortunately, I didn't even get far enough to find out for myself. The game won't even work. I have a quad-core AMD with 8 gigs of RAM and DX11 on Win7, and the game is unplayable because the graphics are completely messed up. I can't even see what's going on in the intro cutscene because there are artifacts everywhere. Once in the actual game, it was just as bad. Completely unplayable.

Other Thoughts: Don't even think about throwing away your money on this, even if it sounds fun. I wish I could give it 0 eggs.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this, really....

Pros: Lots of swearing, if you like that sort of thing.

Cons: Being a huge fan of Bethesda games like Morrowind, Oblivion and Fallout 3, I naturally bought this game expecting it to be on par or better than the predecessors. It's not. It isn't even close. I played through for a couple of hours, and honestly, I don't see myself going back again. It's really that bad. Very, very linear, no real options except which 2 guns you want to carry, no searching for things, no inventory or health status screens, just follow a white arrow and shoot the bad guys.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, read some online reviews before thinking about this. Wish I had. One site gave it 1.5 out of 10!
In all fairness, Bethesda was only the publisher of this game, not the creator, but I had high hopes they put as much quality control into this game as they do their own in-house creations.
