Good Fun
- Pros: The single player game looks and feels like an episode of Band of Brothers. The graphics during single player, when maxed out, are incredible - I've not seen better in a WWII shooter. The audio is crisp and powerful; lots of bass in the gunshots/explosions if you have the speakers to handle it.
The game play is tricky at first, but you will soon be fixing & flanking the enemy in no time. The game does support the Xbox 360 controller for Windows if you wish.
The overall story line is one of my favorites in video games. It can pack the emotional punch of Band of Brothers, such as the opening cinematic in the Church with Frankie and Red.
I almost feel guilty paying only ten bucks for it - I payed over forty for my Xbox 360 copy (and, yes, the PC version looks MUCH better).
- Cons: Controls a tad tricky at first - you might accidentally send your squad into the enemy gun emplacement when you only meant for them to shoot there.
Texture pop-in. I have yet to see an Unreal Engine III-powered game where this does not happen. It is not that noticeable, but it's there and can get annoying.
The acting can get overly dramatic, but it's tolerable. Mouths sometimes don't line up with the words being spoken, and dialogue can get muddied at times.
- Other Thoughts: Specs:
Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5300 2GB Ram ECS P45T-A MoBo BFG GTX 260 Core 216 OC2
Can run the game maxed with 12x AF and 8xQ AA.
Any serious WWII history buff should enjoy this game, although the squad dynamic system is not for everyone - you really do have to think and plan your route of attack as the guns-blazing, Call of Duty approach will likely get you killed.

- Pros: It was fun while it lasted. Controls aren't bad as some say. I waited for the low price. It is well worth the price newegg sells it for.
- Cons: Very short campaign. Long cut scenes. Graphics aren't as good as they should be.
- Other Thoughts: I'm glad I didn't pay the release price for this game.
