The award-winning original next-generation killer app returns with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. The Ghosts are back!

It's 2014, and the soldier of the future returns to encounter a new and more imminent threat along the recently completed wall on the U.S./Mexico border. The Ghosts are more powerful, with an upgraded Integrated Warfighter System (IWS) but will have only 72 hours to assess the threat and stop the rebels from reaching U.S. soil. With a border that's 1,900 miles long and an enemy that doesn't play by the rules, this is a job for the U.S. military's most elite fighting unit. This is a job for the Ghosts.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother good game from Ubi

Pros: The first thing you notice is the detail. It absolutely blew me away.
The AI in this game is better than in previous GR titles (especially the original).
I like the mule they give you on a couple of the missions; and I especially like that fact that you can call in artillery and morter strikes on your enemies if needed. This is especially helpful on the last level as you attempt to cross the bridge.

Cons: Nothing too noticeable. I would've liked more single-player missions, but that doesn't take away from the overall experience.

Other Thoughts: I've read where some people say they don't like the fact that you can't "quicksave" during the game. There are times when you can "quicksave", it's just that it's limited on when it allows you to do this. I've found that if it won't allow you to do it at a certain point, you can walk a small distance or wait just a moment and it allows you to "quicksave".

3 out of 5 eggsTypical GRAW game.

Pros: Typical Tom Clancy Ghost Recon game.

Cons: Typical Tom Clancy Ghost Recon game.

Other Thoughts: If your a Ghost Recon fan, you should get this. Otherwise, invest in a more creative game like BioShock, or the new COD4 or Crysis when it comes out. I've finished the first Ghost Recon and GRAW 1, and GRAW 2 is typical with those games. Nothing new or exiting with this latest version. It's as if they extended GRAW 1 with more levels and called it GRAW 2. It's not even DX10. Although the Ageia Physics effects are still kind of cool and there are a couple new weapons, it's just not that exciting especially if you've already played Ghost Recon. Playing this game makes me look forward more to the release of COD4 and Crysis. If you haven't played the first GRAW, I would recommend you save your money and buy the cheaper GRAW 1 instead of this.

5 out of 5 eggsFreakin amazing

Pros: just amazing, thats all there is to say, game play wise... im only on level 8 but i can't stop playing. love the levels, graphics are amazing, even on my low res(1280 x 1024 / 1024 x 768), great story line, haven't played online yet, waiting till i beat campaign

Cons: few little bugs. would seemingly randomly crash and give me an error message, or my computer would just go to stand by, downloaded patch 1.04 (ghoastrecon.com, do it before you play or between finished levels as it erases any saved games, but not unlocked levels). hasn't done either since i updated my gpu driver.

Other Thoughts: running with lag, hiccups, artifacts nothing, with a 2.0 ghz athalon 3800+ gig of ram, geforce 8600 gt

dont waste anymore time, just buy the game, and get playing. it took my breath away and the only fps i really loved yet was far cry

5 out of 5 eggsGRAW 2

Pros: The best tactical shooter on the market at this time. Realistic, in every aspect, as well as a lot more weapons, and more features to look at.

Cons: PhysX is a truly awesome idea, but the lacking support keeps people from purchasing it. Dedicated PPU that is worth the money? Not until you see being implemented often in the future.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very satisfied with the strong multi player with several addictive game modes, and the campaign, however short, is fun to experiment with in co-op. I will be playing this until Crysis, then play both until Interstellar Marines. Those alone should be enough, a GRAW 3 would be nice though.

1 out of 5 eggsTrial demo ... yawn

Pros: have yet to find out

Cons: It installs, you endure the bombastic general's tirade, then hangs in the mission loadout. GRAW works fine but it seems #2 don't like x64 with or w/o SLI.

Other Thoughts: If you have a x64 system, better try your fiends copy first.

MSI K9N Diamond, AMD+6000 64x2, 4 WD Raptor HDD, XP Pro x64, PCIE 7600GT, SLI, CPU oc'd 6%, GPUs oc 31%.

5 out of 5 eggsGRAW2 is the game for you!

Pros: -Visual
-Sound
-Weapons
-Game types
-Game play
-Multiplayer

Cons: -Can't run n gun
-Can't reload n run

Other Thoughts: Very good game if you give it a chance. Multiplayer can be very difficult. It's a lot to look out for, lots of hiding spots. A lot better support so far then other Ubis*ft games.

-Amd 2.4ghz 4000+ 3GB Ram SLI 7800GTX 256mb each. Ran me fine. But upgraded to -Intel E6600 2gb 1066mhz and 8800GTS runs better then single core.

5 out of 5 eggsGRAW in Iraq

Pros: Nice story line, lots of weapon choices/configuration, good AI, realistic environment (sights & sounds) and graphics. I wasn't sure my Go7400 card would keep up, but the auto-detected medium settings play fluidly and keep the senses frosty. Can't wait to try it on my desktop's BFG 7950GTX when I'm done playing in "The Sandbox".

Cons: None that you don't get used to after playing a while. If you play COD and the like, then there is a learning curve.
A big one is no quick save feature. When you die, that's it...back to the beginning of the round.

Other Thoughts: XPS M1210: Vista Premium, 2.33MHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Nvidia Go7400, 200GB/7200 HD.

4 out of 5 eggsFun For those who like Technical Shooters

Pros: Detailed graphics (See Cons)
Good Realism
Good Control Setup

Cons: Graphics are nice but somewhat boring. Lots of the same color.

After R6:vegas I am craving the color that UBI can put out.

Other Thoughts: Not a shoot em up but a fun game to take your time through and enjoy strategic team based FPS
