Riddle of the Tomb PC Game

In 48 BCE, the heat of the Egyptian sun was equaled by the rivalry between its rulers, Cleopatra and her husband, Ptolemy. As Thomas, the apprentice to the queen's astrologer, Akkad, you are thrust into the middle of this conflict when your master goes missing, along with his daughter, Iris. You are tasked to locate vital tablets secreted in Alexandria while Cleopatra's troops look for the missing sage so that he may make a critical divination for Cleopatra in order to resolve the political crisis.

Based on archeological and historical data, the capital city has been rendered in accurate 3D graphics. The fusion of Greek and Egyptian cultures is shown throughout the game as your travels take you to the Pharos Lighthouse and Library of Alexandria which are brought to life. You must solve a wide variety of puzzles involving ushabti funerary statues, a clepsydra water clock and other artifacts by using logic and a bit of alchemy.

Atmospheric effects and the musical soundtrack take full advantage of surround-sound systems to bring you further into the past. Improved movement lets you look around you as you travel the streets and passageways of Alexandria and you can return to any point on the map once you've visited it with a click of the mouse. Avoid crocodiles and other hazards on your quest – the fate of Egypt and its queen are in your hands.
