Pros: great graphics, the racing is great

Cons: test drive should stick to racing as that was what made them great, who wants to get a haircut then go racing

Other Thoughts: if you like the sims game combined with racing then here it is not a big fan of the "sims" test drive should stick to racing as that was what made them great, the racing was great, awesome cars, great graphics, but buying a house then go racing come on...

5 out of 5 eggsAn amazing game!

Pros: Test Drive Unlimited 2 (TDU2) has a countless supply of roads and a beautifully rendered environment to go with it. The graphics are amazing and can be rendered on older hardware such as my ASUS 4870 with a Core 2 Duo E6600. The included game environment is great, with many miles of roads to drive on. There are a good number of cars including some of my favorites: 2010 Ford Mustang, 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX Sti, and the 2005 Ford GT.

Cons: TDU2 has a physics engine that rivals most games made in the early 90s. The car damage is limited to cosmetic and your car can never be fully destroyed. This may be a minor annoyance for some or it can be a major flaw which will ruin the game for hardcore racing game fans.

Other Thoughts: TDU2 is an arcade racing game. Yes, the in-game physics aren't the best, but the amazing graphics and amazing environment offset this flaw. Depending on how much you desire realistic physics, this will either be a minor con or a deal breaker. Just warning you before you go around posting 1 Egg reviews.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best Car Game

Pros: - Works with every wheel I have seen and/or tried. If it doesn't work, check your drivers.
- Many hours of customization, cop chases, racing, and just cruising around and having a blast with your friends.
- Awesome and large free roam maps and a great combination of single player and multilayer.
- Not bad graphics and east from PC's to run.
- Many awesome features that are well thought out and implemented.
- You can customize everything.
- Every car has its own feel.
- Nice class system to keep things even if need be.
- Oh yeah, and your cars have blinkers and horns.

Cons: Crashing isn't as exciting as you might wish it to be. Not enough to loose an egg.

Other Thoughts: This game is not your traditional racing game. It is a very unique game. It may take time getting use to or may not be your thing.

I do not actually own the game, but Have played it many times in the last month and am planning on purchasing it.

3 out of 5 eggsTest Drive Limited 2

Pros: - Great graphics on a high resolution.
- Fun for hours.
- Runs very well on my GTX 460 SE. Maxed settings gives me a solid 60 fps.

Cons: - Game physics are really bad. I've had so many times where I'd be less than a mile from the goal and here comes a big air time hill.. *car rolls.. *sees all the other racers pass you..
- Unless you are REALLY good at driving games with a keyboard, I advice you use a game-pad or Xbox 360 controller.
- Like all driving games, the story mode gets very repetitive (Tess' annoying announcements before every game).
- The entire car list is rather small, missing out on Lamborghini's, Bentley's, BMW's, PORSCHE'S (instead, TDU2 uses RUF) and many more cars of the existing car brands already in the game.
- You can't sell cars unless your garage is full.

Other Thoughts: I could ramble on about the pros and cons of this game, mostly the cons, but to keep this review more positive, overall, Test Drive Unlimited 2 is an enjoyable social driving game. I hope Atari/Eden Games with announce more DLC cars and improvements.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeded some kinks worked out

Pros: Good graphics. Decent selection of cars. No super low gravity like TDU 1. Ibiza and Oahu islands with tons of roads. Great scenery. Night and day cycle. Rain storms with awesome thunder and lightning effects. A decent variety of options for the paint shop.

Eight player online play in the free roam environment is what sets this game apart from any other driving game. Connect with friends or complete strangers and do what you want. No timers, unless you choose to do a race that is. Pursuit mode to become a cop and chase other players or be chased.

I would have agreed with most of the poor ratings here a few months ago, but recent updates have made a huge improvement.

Cons: Nearly impossible to do any drifting, which was what made TDU 1 the most fun for me. No working clutch. Poor steering wheel setup. Car upgrades are less effective. No Lamborghini's (because of licensing costs) or even Corvette's. There are quite a few other popular cars that are missing from this game.

The avatars are stupid. Just like TDU 1, they put far too much work into the characters, with haircuts, plastic surgery, clothes etc. Plus you have to use the arrow keys to walk around inside your house, which makes changing you car in your garage a chore because the character walks too slow.

Other Thoughts: This game had a lot of problems when it first came out, which is why the ratings here are so low. I played in the beta, and couldn't believe they were releasing the game so soon. It was about 75% complete IMO then. Now it's probably around 90% complete. Support for all the steering wheels needed have been added. Several updates have cured a mass of issues over the last few mont

Other Thoughts: The handling is different from TDU 1. It's great for grip racing, but even the slightest hint of a power-slide will send you into a spin. This game doesn't claim to be realistic, so I can't fault it for not being so. I would say the driving is more realistic than the first game, but doesn't compare at all to games like GTR 2 and Live for Speed.

There is a car pack coming soon that will have at least the Corvette ZR1 which is something I look forward to. Unfortunately the car pack will probably cost $20 alone. This game would now be well worth the $36 for it and the car pack. I paid $40 for the game when it first came out, and after I get the car pack it will be roughly $60 total. I guess I really can't say it isn't worth it. I'm happy with the game as it is now. It could certainly improve in all areas, but it's fun as is. I play almost daily with a Thrustmaster F430 wheel.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: The game is simply awesome. If you thought TDU was real then this is far more real then that. Lots of fun roads to drive and lots of cars to choose from. Graphics dont requiere a high end video card and the game still looks very nice quality wise. There were a lot of bad comments on the game, dont listen to them. I had both TDU's and this is game is amazing. Just get the game and you will see.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Just get the game, would ya? Stop reading those lame online reviews. Buy the game and see it for your self

Pros: NONE.

Cons: The game does not recognize wheels including G25 and Momo's, can't move an inch, clutch is nonexistent , Inertia is really bad, poor programing , poor design game, the original tdu is 100 better.

Other Thoughts: If You are a big fan from the original tdu, or Rfactor, or gran turismo, or forzamotorsport, or the Ferrari Academy and you play with wheels--, do not buy this product, run far away , from it. It's hardly believe patches will fix this mess, because makers didn't hear what people said when the beta was on, Eden studios betrayed Atary, and the customers.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: So much to do. Vast worlds, fantastic weather effects and day/night cycles. Fantastic car details, handling physics that aren't to Sim or to Arcade. Customization for everything, Cars, Avatar, Homes etc. Each and every car handles quite differently. Offroad is fun. As usual Newegg was fantastic. Pre-ordered and had it on release day. Wasn't expecting that.

Cons: A few bugs that need worked out but nothing game breaking. Patches are on the way no doubt. Radio is annoying after awhile, hope they add back the option TDU1 had to add your own radio station

Other Thoughts: Ignore the folks trashing the game. Some people just don't realize this is not NFS or Gran Turismo. It "thinks outside the box" so to speak. You can't go wrong with this game. Many many many hours of enjoyment await you. Im enjoying it quite abit. It's challenging yet not impossible and when I get frustrated with a race, I take a break and just cruise, exploring etc

3 out of 5 eggsYou'll need a controller device.

Pros: The Casino DLC looks like it could be alot of fun. The cockpit view inside certain vechicles is pretty cool. Racing with other players for game currency is an adrenaline kick.

Cons: If you plan on using a keyboard don't, this game was clearly designed to be played on the 360 therefore you need a controller to play.

Other Thoughts: The "Stricker Shop" can use a new name, you'll know what I mean if you played the game. If you're the anti-social type you will have a tough time enjoying this game because you have to join a club eventually. And the moment the first played I turned my voice ip off becuase you keep hearing french people talking. It gets annoying quick.
