5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: game is very fun and addicting , it's got good dx11 graphics and is coded pretty well , my 5850 gpu , clocked at 935/1225 stays at a constant 99% GPU usage, with a PIIx4 965,
spoiler alert bellow

Cons: there was one seen where i did lagged like hell, where you go in the the nightclub and the lights are flashing , but i upgraded my ram from ddr2 to ddr3 and it completely resolved the issue and also , even helped GTA4 performance tremendously.I guess not much of a con sence it was my equipment that was causing the lag.

Other Thoughts: game defently is worth the money, even if it's not the best game in the world gets 5 eggs for only costing 9$

3 out of 5 eggsHate Steam

Pros: -Cheap
-Good Graphics

Cons: -Updates
-Steam
-Steam DRM

Other Thoughts: I hate Steam, why can't I play games straight from the DVD without updating it and why do I have to sign in through Steam...sigh...

5 out of 5 eggsUnbeatable value

Pros: When I bought it, it was only $5.99, CAN'T BEAT THAT. The game looks terrific, its also my only Direct-X 11 game. Fun storyline and great replay-ability. The human campaign was actually REALLY scary for me. Like, Dead Space scary but the other two campaigns are awesome. Very intuitive controls (alien can be a little finicky at times) SMOOOTH graphics.

Cons: Voice acting isn't the best I've heard. Also, the campaigns "lack" a really sense of direction. It basically feels like you go to this part, kill kill kill, go to next part, kill kill kill, and so on so on.....

Other Thoughts: Graphics totally maxed out and great FPS.

1 out of 5 eggsWanted it to work.....

Pros: Its Aliens vs. Predator...what could be better? Graphics were nice. I paid seven bucks shipped awhile back.

Cons: Also known as AVP 3. It would not work well on a dual core computer with 8 GB of memory. The herky jerky game play was two much for me. I also did not like having to use an extra program (Steam)just to use it. Lighting could have been better. There is no game support from Sega.

Other Thoughts: Being a big fan of AVP2, I really wanted this game to work. I guess waiting for the release of "Colonial Marines" is my only recourse. I would have been really mad if I paid the full retail price for this game. Remember- Google it before buying. Plenty of reviews out there. Run away from this one. That is all...

3 out of 5 eggsMissing Logo? (mistake maybe?)

Pros: It's AvP. Everything i ever ordered from newegg WORKS! Yet i may have just jinxed myself.

Cons: Saw price less on the day i recieved my copy, but really....that's hardly a con. Middle of road egg rating is due to other thoughts below.

Other Thoughts: Unless I overlooked something, i saw (nor do i currently see) no mention of this being a S.T.E.A.M. enabled game. I do have a steam account but i try to avoid the retail/download/login hassle of the platform. That said, the game is finally installing from disc (after 3 hrs of unnecessary headache). Had i known it was a steam game i probably wouldn't have orded from anywhere, even if it was given away for free.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!!

Pros: Great Graphics. Great Story line. Great single player mode. Game runs great on my machine.. not choppy at all. The game is worth the money for the predator campaign alone. Yes it's short but it's fun to play over and over to try to get threw missions a different way. Same with alien Campaign!!

Cons: The only 2 cons I have is the Marines seem too weak. You almost have to use a whole clip of ammo to kill something. Not realistic to me in that sence. In the movie Aliens one clip killed a lot of aliens. Oh yeah i almost forgot like others have mentioned you will here the humans say the same lines over and over. That gets old!!!! They could of easily put more speach lines in this game!!!

Other Thoughts: I think they did a good job with this game overall. Your always going to have people who couldn't run it for whatever reason. for what it's worth it runs great on my machine never had a problem. My machine is not that fast either. My rig is as follows.
Amd phenom II 720 tri core CPU
HIS radeon 6850
4 gig ddr2 ram
Asus M3A32-MVP deluxe Motherboard

Not a bad game and the price is dirt cheap at the time of this writting. well worth it for the predator and alien campaigns alone!!! Take care

4 out of 5 eggsFor 10 bucks, love it!!!!!

Pros: You get to play as a three characters, which is great. I'm still on the soldier and have 7 hours invested. Yes its more of a console style game, but still a fun run and gun and a bit scarey at times. Note that it installs as a steam game and is updated through steam.

Cons: none

1 out of 5 eggsSystem Requirements are bogus

Pros: Cheap?

Cons: Could not install, despite having more than 5GB free on my boot (C:) Drive, the game claimed to need 15GB, and would not allow to install on any other hard drive (Data Drive) (never even gave a prompt) You have to register an account with them to ask technical support a question, and their answer involves tweaking values in my registry (for a $5 Game? No Thanks!) Goodbye Sega.
